I had the pleasure of being on the receiving end of the service that he provides in terms of micro pigmentation on the scalp. What he didn't know is that I was going through something mentally, and emotionally regarding my hair. You see I was under a lot of stress at the death of my spouse father, and brother, sisters, along with a lot of friends and family and this has resulted in my hair not growing or growing in patches. Previously to him I went to a guy named Gabriel Maldonado and it was completely uneven. It felt as if Gabriel had a great weight on his shoulders. So I was skeptical to say the least. One of the main things I wanted to focus on was how it would make my face look and I am grateful that I went to him. Not only did I look at least 10 years younger but I felt lighter as if a weight has been lifted off of me. You see he gave me great counsel and I gave him great counsel too and it was an exchange of information and energy. He is a great businessman but he's in the even better person and I truly believe that God is working through his hands to help people transform their lives. I will admit that I was very jealous of his home life the fact that it is completely stable and he has someone to completely support him emotionally like his wife does. So let's talk about the plus: (1) his office is very easy to get to, (2) his office is very clean and everything is completely sterilized, (3) I am a big fan of spacing and the way that he spaces out his office makes you feel as if it's not cramped at all, (4) The precision and procedure that he performed with was much faster and precise than Gabriel. The procedure itself did not last long at all and it lasted maybe 2-3 hours on each visit which were 2 in total. There is something about when he smiles that you get to see what divinity looks like, there is something about when he performs his acts of service you get to feel what divinity feels like and more importantly he is such a great guy and a professional technician at what he does to be honest with you, I think that he is the best at what he does. My only advice to him would be this: don't give away what you've worked so hard for. God has touched you Rob you have a near perfect life, listen to your wife, and hear and you'll continue to change lives, who knows, maybe one day I'll experiences what you have again. You. Give. Me. Hope.

This review is for Smp by Rob I chose SMP as an alternative treatment option to Hair Transplant Surgery (FUE) along w other therapies (finasteride/minoxidil spray , Micro-needling, red light therapy) Goal was to improve density visually and avoid the healing phase of FUE SMP worked perfectly for this purpose. First it's a permanent therapy and looks natural as it blends w time. Also it's quick, pain free, and financially fair on cost Rob was a very personable, service oriented clinician, well educated in the subject and professional. Technically I was comfortable as he had a gentle touch, smooth delivery, and was confident in his craft. Overall it was a great experience and service, and highly recommended. Have no regrets. It's supposed to last 5-7 years.

Upon walking inside, I see the head spa was very clean and nicely set up. I was greeted by Lia and she led me to sit down at a station to do a scalp analysis. I was then led into one of the rooms to change out of my top and the head spa began. Lia was very gentle when washing my hair and was firm enough when giving me the massage. I've been to at least 4 other head spas before and at Bell's Head Spa, I experienced my first non-stanky hair cover. I'm not sure what it's called but at every location, they would put a cover over the head and it becomes a humidifier. Every other place I've been too had a musty smell, but not at Bell's. After the head spa, I got changed and was led back to the station where Lia did an updated scalp analysis. What I appreciated most was she actually took her time with the high frequency wand. Other places would do a couple clumsy brushes but Lia went through my whole head. She even gave me some great advice on what I should do with my scalp and hair. Honestly, Bell's is hands down the best head spa I've been to. There's a couple other services I want to try next time that I couldn't this time due to limited time.

At the previous place, we were given robes and house slippers to change into before relaxing together in a cozy, dimly lit lounge with soft couches, complimentary snacks, and drinks. When it was time for the treatment, we were placed next to each other so we could chat throughout the experience. We had gone there before my cousin's chemotherapy treatment, so being able to spend that relaxing bonding time together meant a lot. This location had a welcoming atmosphere and was somewhat relaxing. The chairs were comfortable, but there wasn't a lounge area, snacks, or drinks beforehand. Since it was our first visit here, we weren't sure what to expect. One thing I really liked was the scalp analysis. They examined our scalps before and after the treatment and displayed the images on a monitor, which was interesting and informative. For the treatment itself, each of us was placed in a separate room, so we couldn't enjoy the experience together. No robes were provided, and my kids were simply asked to remove their tops. After the treatment, I was served unsweetened iced herbal tea and one madeleine. My kids each received iced water and one madeleine. I also paid an extra $20 for the heated shoulder pad, but it was essentially just a heated shoulder pillow. In my opinion, it wasn't worth the additional cost. Overall, I would come back by myself if I wanted to pamper my scalp because the treatment itself was nice. However, I probably wouldn't choose this place for a group spa day or a shared relaxation experience since everyone is separated into different rooms.

In 1998, I started a show in Las Vegas. It was successful from the beginning and I was getting…read morequite a few requests from national (and international) trade magazines and publications for interviews and photo sessions. Although I didn't think it was a problem at the time, it was brought to my attention that there are quite a few international (business) cultures that "look down" on bald men. From a professional standpoint, being bald is considered a "weakness". Whatever. However, I was bald (very) and I was advised I should find a fast solution. Okay, what are my options? 1. Use lotions, creams, meds, laser treatments, special brushes... and hope. 2. Get a full hair transplant (not enough donor hair), or 3. Get a hair piece (the obvious choice in my situation). I searched the internet and found a "highly rated" guy out in Encino. He set me up with a "system" (hair piece) and it did "get me through" the photo shoots. However over the course of the first year (through several "systems" and weekly "services") I realized there were too many problems. The quality of the systems was low. I HAD to go in every week (the "bonding solution" broke down easily). The lady who put the system on my head would just sort of slap it on "wherever" - sometimes just right, sometimes too far back (or forward). And, it was expensive! I decided I needed to find another place. After some internet research, I found a "highly rated" company in Anaheim. While the overall quality and service was better than the first, I still felt the look was not natural. Funny thing about the human eye/brain combo - when we look at faces (and hair) we can process millions of "bits of information", instantly. If something, visually, isn't "quite right" (if the hair looks "almost natural") - we'll become aware of it almost immediately. It was this that first alerted me that this establishment in Anaheim wasn't going to work out. In most conversations I had, I noticed the person I was talking with would look up at my hair frequently. "Something" about my hair was telling them it wasn't natural. In early 2000 I began questioning if I should even wear a hair piece or not. If it can't be undetectable, what was the point? Almost laughable, really. I figured I'd go back to being bald. Nothing wrong with being bald... I know a lot of guys look great bald... but I never did. Made me look 10 years older. Just as I was about to hang it up forever, someone told me about Dianne Hoover at Apollo West. They told me they'd tried several other hair restoration places, but Dianne was on another level. I went in for a "consultation" and found Diane (and her husband Ken) to be extremely knowledgeable and very friendly. They compared with me my system with what they were using at the time... and theirs was far superior. They showed me why their method of attachment was better (more comfortable, lasted longer, more "breathable", etc.). Then they discussed "plans" with me (if you want four systems per year, plus service, it's xxx dollars per month) etc. Their prices were lower than either of the previous establishments I used. I signed up, and they ordered my first system. A month or so later, it came in and Dianne went through her steps of putting it on, "cutting it in" and styling it. I remember looking in the mirror when it was on... almost in shock at how NATURAL it looked compared the systems I wore for the two previous years. Wow. I've been seeing Dianne (and Ken) at Apollo for about 12 years now. In that time, I've learned many things: Dianne is an artist. She has an uncanny "eye" for what constitutes "natural". Since day one with Dianne (over the last 12 years) in conversations, I haven't noticed ANYBODY looking up at my hair. Everyone thinks its "my hair". Dianne and Ken are very professional. They are honest. They don't over charge for product or services. They keep abreast of the latest advancements in technology. In fact, they just returned from Kansas City, Missouri where they attended a convention. They came back with new products they were really excited about, as well as some new techniques they learned. Systems "put on" by Dianne STAY ON longer. For two years before Dianne (at the other two establishments) I had to come in once a week (!) for servicing due to the system breaking down. Since I started going to Dianne, I only come in once every THREE WEEKS. (Most men can go longer). If you or a loved one are considering a hair replacement option, or if you aren't 100 percent happy with the quality and service you're getting somewhere else - I encourage you to call Dianne and set up a consultation. I'm confident you'll discover what I did... If I could give 10 STARS, I would! This is as good as it gets!

I absolutely hated how I looked!!! I called Ellie crying. She said don't touch them but after my entire family laughed at my very dark 3x thicker eyebrows, I tried to wash it away. The color calmed down after about 10 days but then I had this weird shadow. I thought it was bc I washed them. I went back to Ellie (NOT a student) and she touched them twice. I paid good money and here I am 6 months later with this weird bluish shadow on top of my original eyebrows. A few weeks ago, I saw a close friend and noticed how nice and full her eyebrows looked. OMG!!! I thought she had some procedure done where her actual eyebrow hair grew. I got the info from her and just had mine done again last week from Snazzy Brows. I love my new thicker fuller eyebrows!!Naz took almost 20 minutes just drawing them. Whereas Ellie completed the entire procedure in that time. Do your homework!!
