It had a Açaí blend base , topped with granola , diced strawberries, blueberries,dried goji berries and honey drizzle. It was refreshing and filling. I seriously love Smoothie King. It's such a better alternative than grabbing fast food that weighs you down and gross. The Wallingford Smoothie King has been a pretty regular stop for me either going into work or on my way home. Friday's are the best because their 20 ounce smoothies are only $5!!! But any day of the week their still a great choice. My favorite is the apple kiwi kale. So great! Well on my latest trip, I wanted to bring one home for my daughter. I walked in with an insulated freezer bag, hoping they could throw a few ice cubes in for me. It's a 20 minute ride home from there and it was 90 degrees out. Not only did they give me a few cubes, they filled the bag so the ice surrounded both cups! That was above and beyond what I expected! So, sadly, Wallingford will no longer be on my path to and from work. But it's so worth it, I know I'll make the trip soon! read more

This is my first time coming here and I'm definitely going to be a repeat customer. The service was fast and easy and the cleanliness was superb. I watch them wash each thing as he changed over items and still had ample time to make a drink. They have fridges there offering options for different types of to go drinks and mixes . The list of drinks are plentiful and you could add or subtract anything you want to it. I decided to go with Carrot Kale Dream and it did not disappoint . It was smooth, creamy and devine !!! I would order this again ! Bananas, Apple pineapple juice blend, white grape lemon juice blend, organic carrots, kale, protein mix and electrolyte added . It's a mouthful but extremely delicious. i've been going to the wallingford smoothie king for over 2 years and i've never had a smoothie as terrible as the one i had tonight. i placed an online order for a 40oz strawberry hulk, after my 5 minute drive home i took a sip and was greeted with the consistency of water, there was zero taste of the butter pecan ice cream, or the strawberries, it tasted like watered down banana. i am frustrated and disappointed at the service and product quality that this locations evening shift has been providing. read more

I have gone to this location multiple times and they never seem to improve. I love the smoothie king,, the smoothies are great,, I usually call my orders in while driving to work and grab them when I get to town,, the other day,, I did just that, when I walked the girl with short red curly hair was working,, while putting the ingredients together in a blender, something splashed on her red sweatshirt which I can imagine is par for the course,, but she wasn't happy at all,, so my fairly chipper happy self, tried to make light of the small splatter,, said something like well at least it's Friday,, she responded with it doesn't matter what day it is I work anyway,, so I tried again and said well at least you are making money,, she laughed and said yea sure ok,, so at that point I said to myself,, it must be hard not being happy,, she tried to cover all that up by telling me to have a good day and I said oh yes,, and I work on Saturday too,, I guess being in the customers face takes a certain attitude and weather or not you are having a bad day,, in customer service you have to leave your bad attitude at the door,, her bad attitude is more memorable and I will always remember that if I walk in and see her again,, that's too bad,, smoothie was good though! read more

The girl working the morning of 1/8/23 was EXTREMELY rude to me and my friend. Clearly no customer service or any sort of skills were trained here. Seriously don't get a job if you're NOT GOING TO DO IT. The slamming of materials used and stares that we received were beyond me. We ordered 3 drinks 2x angel food and one peanut power plus and received 3 angel food, when we went back inside to get the correct order, she was rude ONCE AGAIN continued to slam things. I have no complaints about the products and the variety of their menu. There are certain staff members that should be trained on customer service and how to treat their customers with respect and civility. Rude, condescending behavior turns lots of us away. The smoothies are great when they are prepared properly. The problem is that it seems that if I go in 5 times, I will get something different each time. Most of the staff seems to be poorly trained in simply putting the exact ingredients and amounts in the blender. Just last week I ordered (2) of the same type of 20 oz smoothies. The employee put the ingredients for the 2 smoothies in one blender. Apparently he had not put enough in to make two 20-oz smoothies and was banging the blender upside down to get enough mix out to fill the two 20-oz cups. The other guy working with him, who seemed more experienced, knew exactly how to solve the problem. He added a couple scoops of ice to the thick mixture and ran it in the blender again. He then poured the loose slush water smoothie mixture in each of the cups to make each one full. Problem solved for him, but it watered down and ruined both our smoothies. It didn't taste close to the way it should. I didn't complain to the employees, but left my experience online, where they make it seem like they care and want to hear about your experiences. But much like on here, where they give you some carbon copy apology and a promise to look into the problem, they didn't even respond to my negative experience. I also received no response about a month earlier on another matter I had complained about at this same location about their quality control (or lack of it). I had even checked the box that I would like them to contact me about the negative visit. It also involved the lack of serving a consistent product every time. It depends on who is making it, and it should not be this way if they would just accurately follow the recipe like they are being paid to do. read more

I usually do not buy smoothies outside since I can make my own at home. I came on a Friday, not knowing that they had a $5 deal on all their smoothies. I opted for a green smoothie, Carrot Kale Dream, since my own green smoothies don't come out as nice and it was surprisingly very tasty, most likely from the apple and orange juice they put in. It was very filling, especially since a medium is 32 ounces! $5 very well spent; however, not sure I would pay full price for it. read more

First time going and not impressed. No one helped me with the menu as it is quite intimidating. I even tried looking it up online before going. Many smoothies have banana in them and it's in fine print. Also I ended up with the new girl who put way too much protein powder in mine and a few raspberries. Smoothie king has always been a great experience however this past time I went I noticed a smell that did not smell like strawberries and bananas. I asked the employee what the foul smell was and they quickly apologized and said we had to open up that cabinet to turn on and off the water to get the purified water they need to make our smoothies. That us unacceptable. Whoever is in charge needs to fix this right away! I was so disgusted by the smell I politely walked away and hoped to come back when the water machine is fixed. I also noticed before I left that the tops of the liquid containers were resting on the wall where I've seen employees rest their arms. If I could rate this place a zero I would. There was 2 people a guy and a girl and the girl seemed as though she was annoyed we were there. She made a smoothie that was not the correct one and walked away while drinking the rest of the smoothie she just made. I have been going to smoothie king in Wallingford CT for months. It was one of my favorite places and sometimes I even went 3 times in a week. Today I had an experience like no other. I walked into the store and there was no one at the desk. I waited a few minutes and then decided to call the store to get someone's attention. The phone rang about 9 times before the gentleman (who was not at all gentle) came out. I explained it was just me calling as I was waiting and didn't know how to get someone's attention. He was immediately defensive and even confrontational. He proceeded to ask me how long I was waiting and I said "maybe three minutes." He then said I was lying as he helped someone two minutes ago. I explained it doesn't really matter how long exactly but I just wanted to grab my smoothie and proceed with the day. He was extremely rude and when I asked to speak to the supervisor he then identified himself as the assistant manager (Sean) and refused to give me his manager's contact info. I left that store appalled by his behavior but more so disappointed that I can't enjoy my favorite smoothies anymore, as I refuse to promote a business in which their employees are so rude. I come here all the time now that I'm trying to loose weight great meal replacements. But saddened to see the tall skinny guy with tattoos he's always stoned and most of the time smells like it too. he was gone for a while but back for some reason. Well I gave his smoothies another chance thinking maybe he got better at making the smoothies high Nope tasted like Ice. I drive by 6 days a week going to job sites so I'll be avoiding the store while he is working. Haven't had a bad smoothie from the other 3 employee with the darker shirts. The three stars is for the customer service from the other employee with the glasses he is apologetic and remakes my smoothie for free and the stars are for the taste of the smoothies when they are actually made right.
