My mango kale smoothie was really good. It was delicious and filling. I couldn't give this place 5 stars because the service was slow and the store was run by teenagers who could care less about customer service. I wanted to hype up this particular Smoothie King location because I went in and saw quite a bit of people and was thinking I'd be waiting long. I ordered my smoothie and surprisingly it was ready so fast! Then when I took a sip of it, I realized I shouldn't have tried to combine strawberries with almond butter, yuck! So I politely explained to them that the smoothie I ordered was not a good one, (my fault entirely) and they immediately said they would make me another one, and had it ready lickety split! When I see a store, my eyes light up. I have fond memories of the establishment. Are you looking to energize? Get an immune boost? Their menu explains it all. I come here on $5 Friday's. It's in a good convenient location for me. When you walk in you immediately smell the aroma of the fruit and other ingredients used for smoothies. If your not hungry walking in here, you will be after standing here for a while. I like how they have seating with tables allowing people to sit a while and relax while enjoying a smoothie. They also offer supplements for heath and fitness. Their menu is extensive from weight gainers to slim smoothies. I will say it's easy to get caught up in eating a smoothie thinking it's healthy and not pay attention to the calories. If your really trying to lose weight, pay attention to the calorie/carb amounts in the smoothies you order. Many offer slim versions, but the ingredients can sound enticing so be careful. Luckily they have pamphlets with nutrition facts to make informed decisions. I like to get the peanut power plus chocolate skinny version but this is used as a meal replacement after a workout. Its 498 cals (medium version) 23 fat 52 carbs and 23 protein. I wouldn't recommend that drink for a drink plus food. Slim and trim chocolate is pretty good the 20oz is 250 Cals 41 carbs and 21 protein. A lot of the smoothies have higher carbs, so if your on a low carb diet drinking one will take a lot of your carbs for the day. They do let you customize a smoothie, which is great as well. So fit it to your dietary needs! read more

Customer service is awful at this location and this is LITERALLY the WORST smoothie I have ever had in my life. It's like all protein and no fruit. I even paid extra to have pineapple added to the smoothie yet you can't even taste the fruit at ALL. I've ordered this kind before and it didn't taste anything like this. I won't be back. read more

I promised myself that I was going to make some smarter eating choices, and that includes grabbing a healthy smoothie during the afternoon instead of drinking a soft drink or lemonade. On this day I was up at the big Publix shopping center across from Sickles High School. I had just checked the mail at our PO box in the UPS store, when the skies opened up with a typical Florida thunderstorm. Rather than racing through the torrential downpour and hopping the puddles in my version of a bizarre warrior dash while wearing a shirt & tie, I decided to retreat to the nearby Smoothie King for something healthy. The lady behind the counter was very helpful, and she talked me through the different options on their smoothies. I told her that I was interested in a basic fruit smoothie, and had no burning desire to consume wheat grass, flax seeds, alfalfa sprouts, tofu, or anything of that type. She asked me what type of fruits that I liked, and we finally settled on a Strawberry Blueberry smoothie made with Greek yogurt, strawberries, blueberry juice blend, non-fat milk, vanilla protein blend, electrolyte mix, and a fiber blend. She said it was about 300 calories and relatively low in sugar, so that sounded good to me. Now I confess that I have no earthly idea what I'm doing when it comes to their lengthy menu of nutritional add-ins, but since she didn't mention anything that sounded like alcohol, I decided to pass and just have the smoothie as is. Which was quite good by the way -- though a healthy shot of rum would have put this drink over the top!!! I liked the friendliness of the staff in this store, and was quite surprised to see that they stock my brand of immune-boosting nutritional supplements which I take during hayfever season. I'm sure that I'll be back to try some of their other healthy drinks. read more

I love smoothies as a meal alternative & just by itself. There was a huge suggestion board with smoothies. But, talk to one of the professional staff & they can make you a smoothie for whatever purpose you desire. My desire this time, was a meal replacement. Every time I come in here, only a few times I get welcomed. No good energy, & most of the time they are in the back of the store on their phones. I have to wait sometimes minutes to get asked what can I do for you. Usually, it's highschool/college kids working & they always carry attitudes... 3/5 shakes have been watered down & disgusting. I tried to give this place numerous chances, & yet they continue to fail. This location is terrible when the staff who don't care are working. (When the guys are working, they are well prepared & make the smoothies the correct way). Get these terrible people out the door, & keep your good staff hired. read more

Such an unfortunate experience. A couple of days prior to me coming in today, I had visited this location and got a smoothie that ended up getting thrown away as it was poorly made. Not a problem! I called and explained to the associate the situation. He said not to worry, to come in and that they should be able to replace the drink. I would just need to ask for a manager. So fast forward to today. I walk in and begin to explain to the associate my situation and he says, wait a second and I'll grab my manager. This is when everything went down hill. Jennifer Eckel comes strolling out with a pissed off look on her face and right away I could tell that she already knew what she was going to do and what she was going to say. I explained to her my situation and she cuts me off and says that that isn't their policy and that the associate wouldn't have said that. I said, so you're calling me a liar? She said no and I told her, well then you're implying that I'm lying to you. At that point, the associate I originally spoke to laughed and said something under his breath. Naturally that upset me and I called him out on it. Jennifer then goes to his defense and continued to explain why she cannot help me. I said, so you're okay with losing two customers over a small drink that your associate said I could get as a replacement? She said YEP! And then said I was aggressive from the beginning of the conversation. She continued to use a sharp tone and fake laughs until I said that I wasn't ever coming back to this location. She then started yelling at me because she knew I was right. My argument was that if her associate promised a comped drink, then it should be comped. I had proof of purchase, I had smoothie king points and I've been to that location many times. Well not anymore! Jennifer Eckel needs to get trained on how to run a store and it does not include implying that a customer is lying, laughing at the customer, yelling at the customer and letting a small drink replacement ruin chances of future business. Smoothie King offers great drinks but I can assure you, it's worth going to another location. Jennifer Eckel doesn't understand customer service and her associate that laughed and said something under his breath...you'd be better off working somewhere that requires you to not interact with customers...maybe a dishwasher? read more
