Thick, filling, and actually tasted good while still feeling like something healthy. It kept me full for a while and didn't feel overly sugary. The avocado toast was a nice surprise. Simple, fresh, and a good balance to go with the smoothie. It worked really well as a quick, lighter meal. The place was clean and easy to get in and out of, and the staff was friendly and efficient. Last night I watched a youtuber named Jasmine. I am subscribed to her two channels. She went to Smoothie King in Ohio where she lives . The smoothie bowl looked good so I ordered two through doordash for my mom and myself. I ordered for my mom the PB Swizzle and for myself the Acai cocoa haze. Phaedra my dasher arrived and handed me our bowls in a drink carrier with red tape that secured and seal the top of the bowl . I wasn't planning to eat it all in one sitting but it was so nice and cold. It tasted like a smoothie drink but we were spooning out the fresh fruit and toppings to our delight. We didn't want to see it go as we scrapped the sides and bottom of the bowl to get every drop. read more

While Smoothie King offers healthier drinks than you will find at most restaurants and fast food places, their smoothies are not nearly as healthy as what you can get at some other smoothie places, especially in larger cities with more options. They don't use much in the way of fresh fruit and veggies but instead rely on purees from a bottle and such. There are healthier and less fattening options than others so choose your poison according to your goals. With that being said and going in to the place not expecting freshly juiced unprocessed fruits and veggies, they do offer a wide array of delicious choices in the flavor dept.. You can pick from one of their menu choices or they will mix up whatever concoction you want from their available ingredients. I go by there quite frequently when I am in need of something cold, refreshing, and delicious. I've never had any real issue with the service. My orders are always correct and prepared in a reasonable amount of time. Many of the employees look like teenagers on their 1st job but they do fine even though some of them could use a bit more practice in ringing things up and customer interactions. There is one guy there who is well past puberty that is either the franchise owner or a manager and he is completely awesome, and extremely friendly and professional. read more

I always had A1 customer service and the best tasting smoothies! will continue to use this location and the Barksdale location weekly. The trick in this smoothie king is to use the Drive Thru. You'll be served before any walk in customer. Walking in, expect to wait, sometimes a very long time. I'm not sure why they always give preference to the drive thru customers, but I've definitely learned my lesson after a few very bad experiences. read more
