I was enamored with the variety of honey options available. I've never seen such exquisite jars of honey. I means there was honey infused with chiles, ginger honey, turmeric honey and New Zealand Rata honey. The Manuka honey was the only brand that costs over $30. It's great to find natural food grocers these days...to avoid all of the chemicals in mainstream food products. The service was great, with very friendly people and a good atmosphere. I always wondered why GNC - Marshall never had any customers at the store. Now I know why…read more Today (10/30/2023) at 3:38pm, I went to GNC - Marshall to purchase some pre workout. I knew exactly what I wanted and did not need anything else. As I went to checkout, the cashier, let's just call him Joshua, asked me if I wanted to purchase anything else along with the pre-workout. Politely, I told him no that I was good and this was all I needed. He then responded with "Really, okay whatever." Joshua then asked me for my phone number, which I provided. Once pulling up my account, he encouraged me to upgrade to their paid rewards program. I rarely shop at GNC, so I felt that upgrading would not be beneficial to me. Joshua then aggressively insisted that I join the rewards program. Again, I responded with no thank you and paid for my pre workout. As he handed me my receipt, he once again rudely tried to pressure me into signing up for their rewards program. When I once again told him no, he said, "Don't take this the wrong way, but you're really stupid." Because of this experience, I will never return to GNC - Marshall again, not that I went there often to begin with.

As a bodybuilder, it has many of the supplements that are hard to find in most stores. The only issue with health stores like Natural Grocers or Jack's is that they mark up all their prices and usually Amazon is cheaper 99% of the time. Not here. Many items are cheaper than what you can find online and you get to support a local business at the same time. I'm already carving room in my pantry for the next haul I come back with. Everything was made right there in the store. Even the sandwich buns were homemade. Since those days, the store has changed management and relocated downtown. Many of the same recipes for soups and baked goods are used. Gifts and health supplements are also sold. My very favorite soup is their chicken noodle. It is rich and hearty loaded with a rich broth, chicken and noodles.The chicken salad sandwich is another favorite. My daughter, a vegetarian, likes their veggie wrap. As wonderful and unique this restaurant is, I gave it four stars instead of five because they need to bring back the homemade breads and sandwich buns. That would make it extra special once again.
