I've also met the owner several times as ive been coming here for years and he has always been kind, friendly, and welcoming. Unfortunately, my visit today felt very different. I walked in and was not greeted or acknowledged, even though I was standing right in front of the staff. Shortly after, another couple walked in and were immediately greeted by two employees, while I was still standing there without anyone speaking to me until I was asked about my order. As a Black man, that kind of experience is hard to ignore. I cannot say for certain what the reason was, but I can say that I felt overlooked, uncomfortable, and unwelcome. The lady with pink hair did eventually come out and speak to me, and I appreciated that, but the other staff members made the environment feel cold and unfriendly. It's disappointing to feel like the welcoming atmosphere may depend on who is working, or who is walking through the door. I hope this was just a bad day, but it left a bad impression.

The staff working the day we went was very friendly and nice and willing to walk around and tell the flavors but would it not be nice to just have the flavors posted by the ice cream? The little chocolate cups and all of the desserts in the display-- would have been helpful to have names/descriptions and pricing to decide what we wanted. Otherwise? You have to ask: "What's this?" and "How much is this/that?" about 50-60 times when you're looking around. Just not how I'm used to shopping and deciding what I'd like to eat.

Counter service was quick. Since I'd never been there, I was surprised when I was only offered two options. The lady said I could have plain vanilla or the Humphrey. I asked what was on that and decided it definitely sounded better than just plain vanilla. After sitting down to eat, I looked up the menu on my phone and discovered that there was a few other options. Still, this is the fewest options available at any frozen yogurt place I've ever been to. Luckily, the Humphrey was great. But they do not really offer much selection. After sitting down to eat, it became apparent the staff doesn't seem too interested in cleaning the customer area. Floor needed sweeping and mopping. The paint on the wall doesn't appear to have been touched up in ages. But, the Humphrey was good. I don't think I'd go back though.

Friends had snickers in a bowl, acai bowl (friend said it was legit), and a cone with snickers and s'mores. All delicious and fresh, not freezer burned. The place was clean and well maintained. While I didn't order fruit with my ice cream , I could see that all the fruit was fresh. Would certainly recommend this fun shop!
