I am in love and cannot recommend this place enough! Stopped in here on a Monday to get my boba fix. The lady behind the counter was super nice and took her time explaining the menu and making recommendations and was willing to really customize my drink. She even gave me some great tips for making my own boba. I got the brown sugar coffee milk tea and it was everything I could hope for. Delicious without being overly sweet. The owner stopped in and we all chatted for a bit and he made some restaurant recommendations for me. We saw this place in Shreveport as my wife recommended this place. This place is on the outskirts of the Horseshoe casino. This place brands itself as the Pokemon shop and have drinks named after the Pokemon which is cool. They sell anime stuff and some at discounts. Price wise it can be on the high side as it costs $8 dollars for a large. I remember back in the days a drink would be around $5 dollars, but with inflation everything goes up. I got the Lugia drink and it was very good unless it was just warm that day. It was a blue drink with coconut which I loved. The drink had sugar to my liking. the drinks are good but i have a loyalty card that clearly had all but one stamp and I bought a drink for the final stamp and tried to get my free drink and got argued with and talked down to the girl behind the counter who proceeded to tell me I needed one more stamp when the card is clearly full. Boba Tea is impossible to find in Shreveport. My wife and I are from San Francisco and have missed some of our staple favorites including Boba. Boba Xpress used fresh flavors which allowed us to make our drinks half sweet. The staff was so awesome and let us taste our drinks before sealing to make sure they weren't too sweet. The boba was perfectly cooked, not too hard and not too squishy, nice and chewy. One of the owners was there on Saturday and let us know that they usually have freshest boba around noon. I'm so so so excited to have a boba shop in town, close to us that's actually great! I love the original black milk tea(kinda tastes like coffee), half sweet, medium ice with black boba (also called pearls). My wife loves Taro(tastes like fruity pebbles) half sweet, with regular ice with pearls, and my mother in law, new to boba, loved her coconut boba with pearls. We tried the boba at N2O Puff which was a sad reflection of boba. They used powder for all of the teas which limited options to customize. Can't wait to come back for more! If zero stars had been an option, I'd have picked that I had never been to this establishment and ordered as close to what I usually purchase elsewhere as I could find on their menu. Let me say that I am frugal (some might say in the extreme) - so if I threw away something they I spent my hard-earned money on - that says something. I ordered a fruit tea w/ boba & no ice. The beverage was not shaken / mixed at all. When I took my first few sips - 100% syrup. After I mixed it up, all I tasted was a bitter tea. I drink unsweetened tea of all varieties regularly - this boba was supposed to be a treat. It was more of a trick - along the lines of dark chocolate covered Ivory soap cubes. read more

Ordered two drinks and they got both wrong twice. First time ice when I asked for no ice, second time they left out the boba in my boba teas... Unfortunately I was in a hurry to leave by the time they remade it, so I made do with my sad boba-free boba tea. And while this is harder to measure objectively, I'm fairly sure they also got the sugar level wrong in one of them, as I asked for 25% of normal but it was sickly-sweet. They don't have anything posted to inform customers that they have options for ice and sweetness level (even though these are standard for boba tea places) so it's possible the employees were just not used to changing that - but there is no excuse for leaving out the boba! It's in the product name and the shop name too! I also wanted to try their cake, but they didn't have it. We are fortunate to have other options in Shreveport-Bossier these days, with better prices and service, so I probably won't be back again to roll the dice on getting what I ordered. read more

As a somewhat long term and a very frequent customer this hurts me to post this review. I used to reallly love this place. Length and frequency: 3 months roughly 3 times a week. ( so I can attest to quality and the decrease of it lately) In the beginning bubble teas here were reallly good. Which is why I visited the establishment so often. However lately the quality and the taste of the tea has not been the same. That's more subjective. The biggest thing is now they have SIGNIFICANTLY decreased the the amount of bobba in each tea. ( the price of the tea has increased , which is okay, however maintaining the quality would be expected). So much so now I pay for extra bobba . Today was the last straw because I paid for extra bobba and just got the same amount ( very little ) as usual. I bought this to the attention of the owner. She was quiet defensive. ( not rude). As I previously stated, I used to really like this place. Quality and taste of the teas were amazing. Never had to ask for extra bobba. There was always more than enough. Now the quality and taste isn't that great anymore. The bubbles are VERY little even when paid for extra. They essentially pulled an uber move. Which is to say as the customer numbers increased the quality has gone down and offerings have significantly decreased. I really hope the business read this post and do something to improve the above aspects as this is a very cool place with really nice and friendly employees. read more
