Not sure what happened with the previous reviews, but I had a good experience overall. I came on a Sunday while my mom was getting a massage a few doors down. The employee working that day was so kind, and she was like superwoman, taking care of all orders, and she was super nice too. She answered all my questions and other customers' questions. I think many other customers that came that day also had a good experience because of her. They had a long desk on the side there, and I was able to do some work while sipping on my smoothie. Music was playing at the store, but I was able to tune it out. I am surprised to learn that Smoothie King sells food (mostly things on toast), but I was tempted to get something but stopped myself as we were going to have lunch later. The app was surprisingly very difficult to sign up and log in (but I was determine to get my points!). I had an account long back actually, but it wouldn't let me log in, so I had to try multiple times to reset the password. After getting it done, they did offer $3 off so that was cool! read more

Theyyy messed up AGAIN. I ordered the daily warrior.. they were missing an ingredient which I wasn't informed UNTIL THEY WERE HANDING ME MY DRINK AND SAID THEY WERE OUT OF BLUEBERRIES. I've had the opportunity to visit the W. Grand Pkwy location and have enjoyed each drink ordered. They have limited vegan or lactose free options but the few flavors are good. The staff are focused on placing orders and making drinks so good luck getting recommendations or in-depth descriptions of ingredients. If you have certain allergies make sure that you ask questions and not rely on the stated ingredients on the menu. They keep the shop nice and clean and I like the bright decors. This location has horrible service. I placed an online order prior to leaving my house. I got there 30mins later and it still wasn't ready. I had to wait another 30mins for my 4 smoothies to be made. I would never order from this location again and makes me having second thoughts about ordering from Smoothie King as a whole. read more

I come to this Smoothie King location pretty often, but today was a disappointing experience. I decided to try one of the smoothie bowls, but the gentleman working told me they were out. While I was placing my order, he was talking on his phone and texting before that. I asked him politely if he could please wash his hands before making my smoothie, and he responded very rudely, saying, "We have gloves," before walking off to make my order. I've seen him here a few times, and he's never friendly or professional. Honestly, it's frustrating. I miss the young lady who used to work in the mornings--she was always so kind and professional. This was my first experience at a Smoothie King and this one was close to my home (literally walk-able distance since I live in Aliana). Decided to try it out, it was about a month after it opened up. The menu items were varied and I got what I wanted - which was the Blueberry Heaven which was delicious however.... The main issue I had was with the staff, they were not customer service friendly. Hardly a greeting was given - a "Hello" and it felt like the workers didnt want to be there. The store itself was okay and clean (because its still new). However they need to improve on their customer service experience. I got a smoothie bowl at the Smoothie king at the Galleria and it was amazing. Perfectly frozen, fresh fruits, and it was really pretty to look at. So one day i was craving an açaí bowl and decided to go to the nearest Smoothie king with was this location and I was expecting the same thing but it was not. The açaí base was almost completely melted the moment I got it and it wasn't filled all the way. The presentation was not pleasant either. The fruits were fresh and delicious but I waited 10/15 minutes for this and for the price in my opinion was not worth it. read more

The girl that was in there taking orders didn't have the appropriate uniform and was on speaker with whoever she was on the phone with. On a Saturday night (11/18/23) at around 7:20pm, somehow my boyfriend and I sat there for 45 minutes trying to get 2 smoothies. The cashier seemed new and didn't understand our orders even after repeating each one at least 3 times. When my boyfriend saw the receipt, one of the drinks was still wrong. He tried to be helpful and stopped the cashier from making the wrong smoothie, but it took at least 5-10 minutes just to get anyone's attention. I couldn't even comprehend why the cashier was the one making the order, rather than his coworker who seemed busy with everything BUT making orders or even taking orders. After another 10-15 minutes, we finally got the order right with a refund and re-process, but it took even longer just waiting for the drinks. Even from the drive thru window, just the amount of time we were waiting gave me a feeling that the cashier did not know how to make the drinks -- meanwhile, his coworker was in the back preparing bananas. There were already 2 or more large bins of bananas by the window. I couldn't fathom how that was more important. The car behind us lost their patience and asked us to move so he could leave. That gentleman didn't even want his order anymore. Since we had to move anyway, my boyfriend circled around to the front of the store and went inside to see what was going on. It was not busy. There was only one other customer. The counter was a mess by the blender area. There were 3 blenders, but 2 drinks somehow took 15-20 minutes to make...? Of course, when we finally got our drinks -- not only were we unable to figure out whose was whose, the flavors were completely wrong. Even after drinking both drinks, neither me nor my boyfriend could figure out what they were. The consistency of the smoothie was strange. Instead of it going down *smoothly* as you'd expect, I felt like there was something scratchy, as if too much powder was used. The drinks were so awful that we didn't even want to keep them, so we had to turn back AGAIN... just to bring them back and ask for a refund after this terrible experience. Instead of coming back here, I'd rather just drive another 4 miles down to a different Smoothie King for better service in the future. Line was long so I decided to walk in. One girl was washing dishes and another was running the window. No one greeted me said hi or welcome . I wasn't really bothered at first , until about 4 minutes passed and a young man who works there walked right in front of me and again SAID NOTHING. Mind you I'm the only customer in the store. Love Smoothie King! I get a smoothie from various locations at least 2x/week and some weeks I can go in about 4-5 times. I've been to this location at least 10 times. While the service at this location isn't bad (it's gotten way better recently), the prices are truly overly inflated for absolutely no reason. This is the most expensive location I have been to. The galleria area location on San Felipe for example charges $2 less for the exact same smoothie. I'm not sure if it's the burb up charge but this isn't Beverly Hills, no reason for the significant up charge. read more

I don't know what's going on. I said my order several times when ordering initially and I knew when the girl taking my order continuously read it back incorrectly that there would be an issue with my smoothie. I went to pay and got my receipt and of course the smoothie on my receipt was incorrect. I ordered a medium smoothie and first they brought me a small completely wrong smoothie. Then after sitting at the window another 10 min brought me another wrong smoothie. When I tried to tell her it was still wrong she looked so lost. What a waste of the last 20 min just to still end up leaving with the wrong smoothie. read more

Took 25 minutes after ordering to receive my smoothie... 2 people working, only served drive through it seems like, while a few people inside waited forever. They even forgot the guys order in front of me and had to ask him what he ordered 15 minutes later. Looking at past reviews it seems like management does not care and this has been going on for months! Management not reaching out to people or replying to these reviews also tells you the kind of people they are, I doubt they'll even see this one.
