It's a 100 degrees outside and I'll be working in heat all day. We asked for a refund and couldn't even get one because the lady didn't know how to give us a refund. Service was nice, the açaí bowl was expensive but tasted like packaged food. Came here one morning and got açaí bowls. You can order online in advance on the app which is always a plus. The bowls are a good size but the açaí base was over-processed and very sugary, definitely prepackaged from the frozen section. There was not a lot of fruits or granola on top. The granola was also over-processed and very sugary. The açaí portion of the bowl was cold which is good, however, the fruits on top were frozen, so we couldn't eat. The correct temperature is for the açaí part to be cold and smooth, and the fresh fruits be fresh and room temperature. The quality of the ingredients is definitely lacking. read more

I came to this location the past 1 week every day and off to finding a different location now! I am giving a one star because of the customer service. The employees who work here are horrible. You can tell they hate their job so much especially at 7am every day! They don't greet you, you get to the register and they stand and stare at you without a question. Don't even want to give a star if I'm being honest. I love their smoothies, specifically the Hulk, and this is the second time I've been guilt tripped for coming in 5-10 m before closing. This second time I was basically refused service. All 3 of the girls proceeded to complain about how they were counting the till (mind you the store is still open) as well as saying 3 smoothies would take 15-20 m to make. I used to manage a smoothie shop and this is just bad customer service and definitely untrue. I used the same equipment and similar recipes, 3 20 oz smoothies shouldn't take 20 m. The fact that this happened twice is unfortunate and quite a turn off, which is so sad bc this smoothie is my fav. :( I never complain either but I didn't love being made to feel awful for coming in at 7:52 pm. I had always ordered smoothies and açaí bowls from this location. Though the last few açaí bowls I ordered, the team would not put the bowls in the freezer to keep it cold as we would come to pick them up. When we would get home, it was like we were eating a soup fruit bowl. If you've had an açaí bowl, you know that's not the right consistency of an açaí bowl. On top of that, we tried to call in an açaí bowl order so we could tell them to put them in the freezer. We were informed that they stop making açaí bowls an hour before close. We called at 7:08PM, and they close at 8. Assuming this is just laziness as all other locations make bowls until close. Anywho, I had reached out to the store directly to ask if they could put them in the freezer while we drive to pick them up. The owner personally reached out to me, which was great. He said customer service is his top priority and he'd talk to the team and would love to give me a free bowl for reaching out. It has now been 3 weeks and multiple emails with the owner simply asking about my free bowl, and he has ghosted me. This one star simply reflects the owner and his "customer service is top priority" and then completely ghosting a customer. We will not be returning to this store again, which is a shame as my girlfriend and I are both "Championship Members" and order from Smoothie King at least 3-4 times a week. read more

I can see why smoothie king is empty. Screen shot included. They don't accept yelp is what we were told. Checked into smoothie king on yelp and there was an offer of a free add-in. Girls behind the counter refused to accept their own yelp offer. Then when we asked for an explanation of why a dollar add-in is so unreasonable they deleted the order and one girl disappeared and we are nice guys just wanting a simple check-in offer. My mind is blown at the ridiculous behavior of these employees and the way we were treated. I'd like to at least compliment the service but I can't even do that. read more

I keep forgetting to come to location before the afternoon shift. The girls on the early shift make perfect shakes. The afternoon shift have no clue what they're doing. The smoothie is chunky, not blended, and terrible. You bite into ice and chunks of almonds or nuts if you order it. They got me twice already , hardly can even drink the thing. Not sure why the reviews are saying the staff here aren't friendly because every time I go in the morning, I'm always greeted by Shea (spelling?) and her energy is contagious! Awesome people making awesome smoothies - better than your typical morning coffee! I usually get the mango pineapple Greek yogurt as a meal replacement for my breakfast - it's on the expensive side ($5.29 for 20 oz) but it tastes good and does the job. I'm still appalled by my terrible experience with Amber Vigil, the store manager, at the Central and Thomas location. There is no leadership, care, kindness, or respect for customers. I ordered my smoothie to be put in a foam cup. This was messed up, so I asked if it could poured into a foam cup. Amber laughed, taunted my ask, and spilled part of the smoothie in the process. I asked if she could pour the remaining smoothie left in the blender into the cup. I was again met with berating comments. I pointed out that this has become a regular mistake, and she told me, "why do you still even come here then?". I requested a refund. She continued to laugh and emphasized that she didn't care how I felt, nor would Smoothie King, and that the feedback about my experience would do nothing. All I can say is I'm shocked and absolutely disgusted by her leadership, customer service, and the way she treated me. Her leadership was distasteful and disgraceful. I have been a customer for quite some time now. Customer service seemed to be just normal. Then today I was waiting for my smoothie and every time the district manager trey is working it's always horrible customer service from him. He's very rude to people and telling them that they way they want to make their smoothies is wrong and he has made really rude comments to people. Today as I was waiting for my smoothie and a customer came in and him and the woman he was with and they said good morning and were proper, they started to order and then the district manager trey stated a confrontation with the customer. Being rude and telling because he had complained about his customer service wasn't the way it should be as a district manager and so he told the man that since he had complained to the other employees he was now banned from all the stores he over sees. And was being so disrespectful when asking him to leave the store. In my opinion I will not be going back to smoothie king. I will take my Business somewhere else. Went here for the first time and I wasn't impressed. My husband loves the ones out in Texas so I was expecting some amazing smoothies! I knew it would be bad the moment she told me our total. She said $10.57. We ordered 3 drinks. But when I looked at the total on the screen it read over $20. Then I got the wrong smoothie. I ordered the d lite coffee mocha but somehow got a protein coffee?! We would have checked our receipt but we didn't get one. We were also the only people there so it's not like they confused my order. I sucked it up and drank it. Thankfully I like protein drinks and I had gone for a long run that day so I didn't mind it. The rest of the smoothies were fine. Their lobby is big but empty. They could definitely add more seating and tables. I was also going to use my Yelp check in coupon but after I saw reviews decided not to. I didn't want to "bother" the employees more then what they already appeared to be. (2 stars good smoothie, but, poor service) I've been a long time smoothie king fan so I was trying to convert over a Jamba Juice loyalist today and failed miserably thanks to poor staff from two clerks to a absentee manager. We went in today to get our drinks, I ordered mine and then we ordered my friends. We were asked all of the options for the gladiator and our order taker was dutifully punching away on the pos terminal. My friend who is also a yelper, decided to do a check-in and when he did it offered a free enhancer which he asked for. When presented with the yelp offer, she acted like she knew nothing about it and then told us they don't accept yelp coupons. Out of dismay we asked why not your owner/company is the one who posted it out there. She continued to debate the point. She offered to call her manager leaving another staff member behind the counter. My drink was made and we were waiting to complete the order the other clerk started telling us it's not his problem that yelp has it posted out there and that they have their own app and they don't use yelp and that it's our problem not his personal problem that it's there. I told the clerk it is his problem because the company which he is currently standing behind the counter representing offered the coupon and he is failing to honor it. In the end I didn't want to engage any further because it was clear both he and his coworker who disappeared and never returned didn't care about the negative experience and perception they were providing a customer. He ultimately told use they can't get ahold of their manager. I said I'm fine let's make the other drink and I'm ready to go. He scanned my app it paid and I was asking about our second drink which was entered into the pos earlier and he said we never told him what we wanted so he didn't make anything, Throwing more salt in the wound. Ugg so much for converting a Jamba Juice loyalist. No wonder this brand has little to no presence here in the valley. No wonder the store was empty! Every time I stop in a Jamba Juice there's a line, why, because people like it and they get good service. Do yourself a favor and skip Smoothie King and get yourself a Jamba Juice. That's where we went because remember I never told him what my second drink was even though I did and observed it being entered in the system.
