With the mothership Wegmans within a short drive, who wouldn't? However, I do save a lot of $$ when I include Aldis in my rounds. They've got a great selection of staple goods and periodic deals on other fine food items. I find it funny that friends who NEVER go here have gone GA-GA over the Pittsford Trader Joes. What they don't understand is Trader Joes shares a common corporate parent with Aldis. The stores share a similar approach to merchandising and quality of goods. The difference is the targeted market. Aldis skews its products more towards the price sensitive customer & carries fewer luxury items. That's it. I've already found some analogous products between the stores. The Aldis store in Penfield is the one I frequent the most. Very clean & well stocked. Very friendly & helpful staff. If you haven't shopped Aldis, give it a whirl.
