Because no matter what you ask for there's always something that's wrong and they don't refund it so I'm not so greatly appreciative of this place. The other evening I needed something to bring appetite up to date and a smoothie was calling my name. I stopped by one of my all time favorite places to pick up the best tasting combo around. 5/5 High Protein in Banana with a scoop of peanut butter is a combo you need to try. It's not only good for your body, when they make it right it's heavenly. Remember to tell them to use less water so you can get the entire shake inside the cup. Pretty good, the smoothies here are actually very tasty. Not a lot of people come here because it's always empty and the staff is pretty good. But very expensive, so be prepared to spend a pretty dollar on a smoothie. Also came here to redeem a code for a free smoothie from the "T-mobile Tuesdays" app and they said no, so I drove all the way to Aventura for them to make it for me. They have many different types of smoothies and many different flavors. I always order a fruit flavor. The last time I had mango banana. Clyde and I shared a 32 ounce drink. The people working there split the drink into two cups so we each had our own. It was fruity, refreshing, and delicious. I like that it wasn't too sweet. I'm sorry but this place isn't pleasant for me. I've come here twice & both times the experience has been the same, POOR. There are young kids working here; not saying there's anything wrong with that, however, it's more than evident that they could care less about your presence. They're busy on their phone, and you coming into the place is clearly interrupting their social media session. This place doesn't seem well taken care of. Both times I've been here it's been the same, looks dirty (papers on the floor, etc...). This quaint little shop is conveniently located right off of Biscayne Blvd sharing the T Mobil building. The best part is DRIVE THRU. I request that all Smoothie Kings be a drive thru. Love it. I visit occasionally for their Meal Replacement shakes. The ingredients are pretty basic, and you can sub out if you want to it 'clean'. I haven't been in awhile but upon arrival I noticed a re-vamping of the menu. My eyes laid on their Vegan and Dark Chocolate. The chocolate was soo indulgent and satisfies even the most obscure of sweet tooth's. I slurped until I almost lost my eye sight from brain freeze. I could not stop. If you can't make it after a workout give their AM coffee shakes a try. I came back the following morning and picked up a cinnamon latte protein shake with almond milk. 30 grams of protein, needless to say it was very tasty and especially satisfying. The woman sounded completely hung over, uninterested , not wanting to be there and did not give one shit! She couldn't even repeat our order, while seeming highly confused, and sounded very rude! Smoothies are amazing. This is my first time here and it was pretty good. I will definitely return for my Meal Replacement on my weight loss journey. The Cashier helped us decide and was pretty attentive. Plus they have a Drive Thru.. double chocolate chip cookie was only 220 calories. I had the Activator Pineapple minus the apple juice with blueberry juice.. 450 calories, not sweet but really worth it. Lines are usually short (both in person and drive-thru). Except when that guy on his bicycle shows up to the drive-thru. Ugh that guy, why is he riding a bike if he can't be bothered to walk inside? Your bike does not set off the sensor and the staff does not know you are there. So that makes the line take forever. Love the staff here, they are funny and good at making smoothies, they also suggest smoothies when you are not quite sure what you want today... I wouldn't call it healthy, but it's good. The drive through service is great! I wouldn't change that for nothing. They are quick and you get what you want in a timely manner.
