Extremely impressed with the quality of service! This was my first time visiting a smoothie king and I was a little overwhelmed by the size of the menu. I apologized to the staff member attempting to take my order and let her know that I may need a minute to look everything over. Instead of saying "take your time" and walking away or being annoyed that I didn't know what I wanted (which I feel is the usual response) she immediately asked me what type of smoothies I usually get. From there she asked me more specific questions to narrow it down to one smoothie in particular. She then listed out the ingredients rather than having me find the ingredients myself, one of which was dairy. I asked for a dairy substitute and the staff member took the time to clarify if this was an allergy since different procedures are taken for allergies to ensure no cross contamination occurs. I do not have a dairy allergy but was very appreciative of her asking! Not only was the staff member taking my order extremely thoughtful, but she hit the nail on the head with her smoothie suggestion, it's delicious! Additionally, the staff member who made my drink was also very friendly and made sure to thank me for coming in and wished that a enjoy the rest of my day. As a restaurant manager, I often make assessments of the service, rather than the food or beverage to judge my likeliness to return. I can confirm this is the first time in a VERY long time I've gone somewhere (other than the restaurant I work at) and experienced such great service, not to mention a great smoothie too! We tried Smothie King for the first time today. Being from California, we hadn't even heard of it before seeing this location. I was worried it wouldn't be as good as Jamba Juice but all three of us thought it was great! We were helped by Lauryn who was super nice and helpful when we told her it was our first time and whoever made the smoothies, made them pretty fast. The menu is broken into 5 sections: Slim, Fitness, Wellness, Take a break, and Kids. I got the the vegan Nutty Super Grain and thought it was delicious. It does have peanut butter though and will cost you 500 calories. There are 4 vegan smoothies on the menu. My husband got the Activator Strawberry Banana and really liked it. I tried it as well and thought it was very good and only 270 calories in the 20oz. Our three year old got a kids Lil' Angel which is strawberry, banana, and a kids vitamin. She loved it! The total for our two smalls and a kids was $13.89 after military discount. Seemed pretty reasonable to us. Definitely going back to try more! read more

It is so refreshing to have a solid smoothie option in MHK! I visit this location more than I'm comfortable admitting --Let's go with "at least once a week". The store is always spotless. The staff is tremendously helpful and friendly. My special order smoothie is always made properly (accounting for my allergy) and fast. Can't say enough good about this smoothie king. And yup, today is Friday, which means $1 off 32 oz. smoothies. So ummm......(too busy getting in the car to head to Smoothie King to finish this review). read more

Ordered a peanut power plus. It did not taste right and then I noticed that it was hardly mixed. The bottom half had a mushy glob the size of a chicken egg of apparently what was supposed to be dates, along with a bunch of marble sized ice chunks. Very unappetizing. read more

I love Smoothie King, in Arizona I went a couple times a week. But today I visited Smoothie King in Manhattan, KS where I now live and the girl at the counter was awful. No smiles, no chitchat, took her forever to take my order, and she was absolutely no fun. I understand I was her last customer before she got off her shift but the people at my old Smoothie King are what made me want to spend so much money on smoothies. I'm sad that this Smoothie King doesn't live up to the standards set by the ones in Arizona. read more

This place is amazing! You have tones of choices in smoothies, they all taste great, I love them as meal replacements. Then there are those great snacks that they always have by the register that are just to die for. It's a small store so it does get pack on occasion but totally work it! read more

not worth the money i spent. i ordered the same smoothie i have gotten for years, from a different location, and the first time i ordered from this location it was terrible. absolutely the worst smoothie i've had in my life. i wouldn't call it a smoothie it was more like a gross applesauce, and i didn't even order anything with apples in it! read more
