We have been here a number of times, but it has been awhile. We just recently have started going back when we want something light for lunch. Whenever we enter we are consistently greeted warmly. The staff at the register is polite and quick to take our orders. The smoothies are ready in a reasonable amount of time, the interior is clean and the whole process is very efficient. I don't know why their score is so low, but y'all are tripping! This is the BEST Smoothie King location that I've been to HANDS DOWN. I live in Loganville, but I stop by this location on my way to work. The Service: Always good! Every time I've ordered from this location, it's always been via the mobile app, so by the time I get to the store, my smoothie is already waiting for me. The staff is always nice and speaks to me on every visit, wishing me to have a great day. The Parking: It's in a small shopping plaza, so though there's free parking, parking can be a little limited in front of the store depending on what time of the day you visit. The Smoothies: This location makes the best smoothies no questions asked. I've never had a bad smoothie from here. Never too watery or too thick, just right every time. And they taste so damn good. I came in today get my free smoothie and wasn't disappointed. The employees were taking orders and making smoothies fast. It felt amazing inside the store because it was hot as death outside. I wasn't sure about a lemonade smoothie, but it tasted amazing. I'll definitely be adding that one to my list of favorites. There is ample parking in the lot because it's a small strip mall, but the lot is very tight. It's easy to get too close to another vehicle. I've been going to here for years and this was my first truly pleasant experience! The manager Deedee is soo amazing and she elevated my smoothie by adding ginger after I told her about my stomach pains. ***I've already complained to corporate and received a refund, so just relaying my experience to save everyone else*** Placed a mobile order while in the gym so that I could pick up the smoothie and drink it on the way to my work meeting. Pulled up and there are two people standing outside the door. I walked over and saw a sign that said they only allow 5 people inside at a time (COVID)....which was interesting as there were 5 cops inside, and 3 people waiting by the mobile order station (which was empty). Turns out, an older heavier employee wasn't feeling her job that day, and was being pretty vocal about it. She opted to make each cop's order one-by-one and groaned about how aggravated she was while in the process. Now by the time she makes cop #3's drink, she sees a friend (in front of me in line), waves her inside, and actually leans on her chops and starts of a social convo! I'm furious at this point, not only that someone actually scheduled her to work during a morning rush, but that there was no sense of urgency from her or the young lady behind the register texting. While standing there (becoming late for my meeting), I actually got an Amber Alert that police were looking for a missing 12 year old. I said out loud, no they're not! They're all standing around in Smoothie King! Since my drink was nowhere close to being made, I left and requested a refund online. read more

Just note...this review is not about the location. It more so about the company itself. Most people go in to smoothie king thinking oh let me try a healthy alternative for breakfast or lunch. Not realizing this alternative choice is NOT healthy AT ALL! Now I was a true fan of $5 Monday 32oz drinks. I just went in this morning after an awesome work out. As I was opening the door I was reading a sign that said "No sugar in 2018". At first I thought it was just a motivational gesture to customers. Uh...NO...these mofos was basically telling on themselves.... Now I shouldn't even be mad at them because I should have done more research on such a commercialized company before partaking. Now after reading that sign, my mind got to wondering. Hmmm ... I wonder if they are drowning these "healthy" drinks in sugar and I wonder if there is more in the smoothie then they are advertising....Duh but of course there is! I had already ordered my $5 "Vegan" Mango Kale smoothie by this time so I'm sipping away in my car on the way home. OMG the diabetes of it all....it was SUPER SWEET. I knew it couldn't be a natural sweetner. So I go on the website and look up the ingredients to my drink and Lo and behold the grams of sugar in a 20oz is 44. I ordered a 32oz it has 66g of SUGAR. That is obsurd! At the end of the day I was better off spending my little 5 to 6 dollars at the publix across the street and go home and make my own smoothie. Lesson learned. But really not necessary. This is my first time visiting this location. The girls here was very nice and they greet you as soon as you come in. I visited one of my favorite smoothies shops in the Atl area, Smoothie King on Panola Rd in Lithonia,Ga. I usually am never disappointed by the frozen smooth peanut butter concoction, except for my last two visits. The place was flowing customers. The blenders were roaring so I understand how my order was mixed up. But I could not enjoy my smoothie for the lumps of ice and chocolate (or maybe dates) clogging my straw. Cutting back the blending time is turning out lumpies instead of smoothies. Get back to the original process - more blend time. I hope my next visit is better than today's. Staff is friendly and smoothies tasted good. There are a lot of vegan options, which was the main decision factor for me to try them. The small size is a 12oz and is more than enough for one person. If you're using smoothies to cut calories, beware of going to the medium and large size, as they tend to be way more than one person needs and they have over 500 calories generally. Also, if you're one for all fresh smoothies, this may not be your cup of tea as they use a lot of powdered form ingredients. read more

Stopped in to purchase a smoothie. I normally go to the Turner Hill location. Please take in mind that it was 17 degrees and has been extremely cold for a while. While ordering i noticed a number of fruit flies/ gnats (you normally do not see them in mid winter). I also acknowledged the fruit trays were wide open. The bananas were turning dark brown and fruit flies and gnats were all over them. I assumed they were to be discarded..WRONG! The young lady reached for the brown bananas and attempted to continue making my smoothie. I nicely asked for a refund... NEVER AGAIN will I patronize the Panola Rd location. read more

i frequent this smoothie king because its close to home and i love smoohies. this is the only place in my area i can get them. if it wasnt for that i definitely would not go. the staff is a hot ghetto mess. they have horrible attitudes. they are extremely unprofessional. it often takes 10-20 minutes to get a smoothie. that is way to long for me. they need to update their cash register so they can accept the new rewards cards. the franchisee really needs to have a talk with these workers and let them know that they are giving the panola rd smoothie king a horrible name. its sad to say but why are there only these problems in black neighborhoods. i have had no problems with any other smoothie king but this one. as an african american i must say our ppl really need to get it together. all the attitudes and sass need to be left at home. customers do not want to deal with all that. read more

I love smoothie king, but this location is horrible! Half the store was a mess when I walked in with only one worker working. There's 5 people in line that have not taken their order. Very slow service. Then I get to the register and ask for a vanilla hulk, and the lady says "we have no hulks." They sell this drink, and they don't have it yet it's on their menu. Mmh okay i accommodated, and said i'll just try a banana boat. I have her scan my rewards because I have a $2 reward, and she says i don't have one. I pull it up on my phone to show her I have a reward, and she continues to insist she can't help me because it's not coming up. My thing of it is if your see the reward you should be taking the $2 off since you see I have one. Poor costumer service, and they didn't even have any of the hulks (meal replacement smoothies). Overall not clean & poor customer service at this location. I don't recommend. read more

As yesterday, June 8th, was Free Smoothie Day, I drove out of my way to go to the Smoothie King on Panola Rd. The free smoothie offer was advertised as being available between 10 am and 2 pm. I went into Smoothie King at 1:30 p.m. and was told they were out of the cups for the free smoothie. I said, so you can't give me anything? She said "no." I said that really isn't fair because the offer is supposed to run until 2:00. She just looked at me and said "sorry." I asked if there was a manager there and was told that there was not. She pointed to the employee standing next to her (who was at the time speaking with another customer) and said, "You can talk to her." When the employee she referred me to finished her conversation with the customer, she just walked away and never acknowledged me at all.
