No, I didn't want to buy the product because of how I was treated and the fact that there's a much better vitamin and supplement store with incredibly low prices and actual knowledge staff. I don't know if this woman was really a manager or not, but she was certainly not the epitome of health and was rude when asked about certain products. She needs to rethink working with the public and the owner needs to rethink having her as an employee. I absolutely do NOT recommend this store at all. There are much better establishments in the area with friendly, knowledgeable staff.

We enjoyed looking through the used bookstore, but we wish we had more time! It was quite an extensive collection! It's small and cozy inside and the place has old bones you can tell by the creaking wood floors. It feels like walking into an old timey little grocer, but this market is dedicated to natural produce and promoting good health. They have a lot of products from CBD, to vitamins, essential oils, and natural beauty products. They also have a lot of food items like organic snacks, juices, soups, and many more. What brings me back though is their little kitchen where they whip up smoothies, wraps, salads, and some delicious veggie burgers. They offer spicy black bean burgers, and most recently I tried a soy blend burger made with various nuts and other ingredients. These aren't the type of veggie burgers that try to mirror regular burgers, they have their own unique textures and tastes. Originally it was a bit out of my comfort zone as an avid meat lover but I love to try new things and I have to say they are quite delicious. As I start to learn more about ways to improve my health I wouldn't be surprised if I start to come in more regularly. I highly recommend coming in to browse. Even if it doesn't seem like your cup of tea, you're likely to be surprised by how many awesome things they have for sale! It also helps that the employees are super friendly and they usually play great tunes!

The one at SouthPark is about the same size but more of a challenge to get in/out of since it's in the midst of the SouthPark traffic. I was tasked with the purchase of the Christmas Turkey. My mission: to find a fresh NOT frozen whole turkey, about 12 pounds, won't expire before 12/25, organic and NOT a Butterball brand. A challenging mission you might say but I felt like I was up to it. The Thanksgiving birds where purchased at the Peach Stand in Fort Mill. We got two of them and they were exceptional, two birds easily fed 30 hungry people. Sadly, they had only the frozen ones that were left over from Thanksgiving. After several google searches and calling around, I ended up here. There must have been about a 1/2 dozens birds that all fit the bill though most of them were more in the 13 to 15 pound range. Size matters here because it's going in a deep fry cooker over propane with limited capacity. I took some photos and reviewed it with the Chef and got a 'thumbs up AND a 'smiley face' emoji. The countdown to Christmas is on!

I remember an episode of All in the Family from my childhood -- with inflation out of control,…read moreArchie and Edith venture out to the grocery store. It's an episode where Archie, freshly unemployed and feeling the stresses of life, learns just how fortunate he REALLY is. Fortunate, that is, to have Edith looking out for him. After all, she is the one who does the hard work of keeping house, scrounging for bargains, saving when she can, and very occasionally splurging when opportunity presents itself. In the end, Archie learns just how hard it is to keep things together in times like this and feels a sense of gratitude for his loving partner's hard work. I feel a similar sense of gratitude when I go shopping for groceries at ALDI in Indian Trail. The store is clean, the staff is friendly, and the prices are reasonable. QUITE Reasonable considering global supply chain demands, the knock-on effects of COVID-19, and the struggles associated with changing populations and demographics. If only it didn't take 17 left-hand turns to get there. But that's not ALDI'S fault, and I assure you the drive is worth the trouble. The secret sauce at this grocery store is clearly in its management. Somehow despite the hiring challenges everyone else is facing, they have secured helpful, charming, and kind workers to staff the place. Take note ye OTHER retail establishments of Sun Valley. This is how it's done right. Brava! Bravo! Bravissimo!
