Customer service here is honestly terrible. The employees were rude for no reason and didn't seem like they cared at all. On top of that, they couldn't even make our drinks correctly, which is kind of the main point of going there. We also got overcharged for small smoothies, which just made the whole experience worse. Definitely not worth the money or the attitude. read more

Smoothie King - ASS LOCATION - Health Markets Near Me - Houston, Texas

THE WORST STAY FAR AWAY. they can't even answer calls. just sucks so bad. everyone's rude and doesn't like to do they're damn job

If I could give a zero I would. I ordered on their APP FOR DELIVERY. I hadn't received my order and I was calling to see if they knew something about it. "Well, I already gave it to uber." Was said twice. "Well, I mean I already gave it to them." "You would have to call uber" I said okay uber didn't call or message or anything. Were the replies given. I asked how can we rectify the situation. I hadn't got in it. Asked to speak to a manager to better assist. "I am the manager." Okay could I speak to someone else the because your not trying to help me when I ordered through THE APP FOR DELIVERY. "Okay give me 10mins" and the phone hung up. Save yourself from a headache. Don't order here. She wasn't even trying to call uber or whoever to see where it was at or nothing. read more

I always been a customer of Smoothie King since 2007, I always loved the smoothies and the hospitality the employees , especially the Sugarland location on 99.Since then I always order my smoothie as my go to treat every now and then.Well on May 16 , 2025 I placed an order two smoothies through DoorDash at 8:40ish. Mind you the location hasn't been closed yet the hours of operation is until 10pm. Thanks to my Dasher keeping posted and updated , he mentioned that they closed the lobby early and told him they closed for day. He did send me some pictures of employees just standing around or some just doing their side work. An hour later my dasher send me a message that he hasn't received anything of an update of my order , an hour . I called the location , 3 times until someone pick up the phone, I ask for hours of operation and the person who answered (male) told at 9 pm. I asked an update of my order and why is taking longer to be made, I mentioned that my Dasher was waiting for a while and he reply back " What do you want me to do about it?" Multiples times and not letting me speak. His excuse was that he was short staff and he got so many orders , I told him that was no excuse to treat customers like that , like we are responsible of lack of staff in the store. I worked in the industry for 25 years and I understand the feeling of non stop running around and trying to deliver the drinks on high volume but always acknowledged my customers giving a quick greeting and telling I will be right with them. Most customers are kind and understanding but not greeting them or acknowledging them, of course will take them as disrespect. Please re trained the staff to be more courteous and not acting rude and highly, I had to cancel my order due to a fear that might spit on my drink. I will not step a foot on this location even though is closer to my place, I rather drive 45 minutes to my Smoothie king of Sugar Land location. read more

I will never, ever understand why someone would wanna work in food service or retail with a shitty ass attitude. It doesn't take much to say "you're welcome" or when someone says "Hello" you're supposed to greet them back. Instead you stay mute and don't respond. Needless to say the lady with the long dreads should probably find another job, you're rude and inconsiderate. Try a desk job or stay at home job.. read more

This is the worst Smoothie King you can purchase from. Very Unprofessional, Inconsistent in serving size and super slow! I purchased my Acai bowl from this location 3x this week. First time the bowl was so runny I had to eat it within seconds smh, attempted again and it was made to perfection, however the third time was horrendous!! They barely put açaí in the bowl and the toppings were nonexistent even though I asked for extra when ordering! I took pictures of how the bowl was filled versus this time it was halfway. Wasted time and left empty handed, For an almost $13 smoothie, That's the price of a meal for it to be half full smh get it together! This location could do way better! read more

This is the only smoothie king I've been to. They're pretty fast, however the smoothie flavor is a little inconsistent at times. I usually get the same smoothie & it doesn't taste the same all the time. I do love their app because i always earn rewards & they also have lots of discounts. read more

I will never go back to this location. they never get your order right, if you ask them to remake it they give you attitude(girl with braids) and will make it wrong again just to make your day worse. stay away from this place. Do yourself a favor and simply drive an extra 10 minutes past this place to the smoothie king down the street. That way you don't end up here like me on yelp. To sum everything up.... The manager I recently seen up there is the worst. He needs to be shipped back to wherever store he's coming from. I see how he barely appreciates his workers that are actually trying. And acts like he don't see the ones who only put work in Cauz he's there. He sits there and watch workers eat while taking orders like even if you don't see em there's a whole camera you supposed to watch from time to time.I wanna know how to actually report him. read more

Terrible location! Although it was a long line, it should not have taken that long to make drinks waited over 30 minutes and they messed up my 2 drinks even after repeating it multiple times and having the worker even repeating it back to us to ensure the correct drinks. When I got my order they switched up the sugar levels for the wrong drinks and i knew if I were to come inside to have them correct it and remake the drinks it would have taken another 30 minutes. read more

I have not been to Smoothie King in years. I ordered the Gladiator, with a banana blended in as my fruit; however, you may choose up to two fruits. The small is 20 ounces and comes in at 220 calories before you add your choice of fruit and it has 44 grams of protein. It is low carb and low sugar and it tastes awesome. The only thing that would make the Gladiator better is if Russell Crowe himself served the order, but not today...hehe. read more

Smoothie King is epidemically one of the worst run franchises in America. I've been to over three dozen SK's over the last twenty years because I love smoothies. And sadly, SK is often the only option available. One day I plan to open a smoothie shop that's much more customer-centric with higher-paid and better-trainee employees. Typically you have high school kids who choose this job because they think it's easy and low stress. Which for the most part is true. But these kids are typically slow and uninspired due to equally uninspired ownership. These stores try to pinch overhead as much as possible, so they are not inviting to enter. The service is always poor. And they always do things like close early, open late, mixup their own menu, and mess up orders. This location is one of the worst. Employees are always messing up our orders. It has a drive through which would make it awesome if it wasn't, well, a Smoothie King. Buy a blender and produce and peanut butter and make your own! read more

Terrible service. One person ahead still means half an hour wait. They obviously hate their job they are so bad at it. Not only did my order come out wrong, after asking twice what I ordered, it was inedible. How do you mess up a smoothie? You forget to put fruit and add yogurt to a fruit only smoothie. Take half an hour to bring it out. Then charge me more than a case of fruit costs. This place is terrible, please stay away. read more

This place always has lines around the building no matter what day or time, and it's really annoying. I've tried to go a few times now and it's always a ridiculous line--not just a few cars. I went in once and expected a little bit faster service than sitting in the car line, but it took the same amount of time. Forever. I think they are understaffed or something...so please hire more people! It'll make the experience better for everyone involved. read more

I come to this place all the time so I've learn their service is slow even with 4 people. They manage to mess up my order serval times. Today the staff just didn't seem to know what they were doing. I went to the drive- thur just to have to get down when they messed my order. To have wait for other orders to be filled before they even fixed mine. That's after I repeated it multiple times at the drive thur and when I pulled up to pay as well when I had to get down. They lack supervision and management at this location. I come here because this location is convenient for me but their definitely making rethink that decision. read more

Wow! I am impressed with the new vegan smoothie. I got the dark chocolate banana. Such a yummy breakfast. Gluten free and dairy free and vegan. Can't beat that! Even better is the size. I got a medium. Paid about $8 bucks. I was not disappointed. Check out my photos to see the size. Texas size baby! Everything's bigger in Texas so you get more for your dollar. The friendly and helpful staff is just the extra icing on top. read more

This smoothie king is right outside of my local 24hour fitness & I see it everyday but since I've been back in the gym & lifting heavy, I decided to stop in & see what they had in the form of some good protein. Drive thru was a little active but the storefront was empty when I walked in. I was greeted by Derrion, who was very polite & knowledgeable, and he let me know he was available when I was ready & if I needed any help. I lulled over the menu a bit & decided on the Gladiator 32oz drink which comes with the Gladiator protein mixed in & your choice of 2 fruits, those of which I chose strawberry & banana. I also added an extra protein shot for 99 cents, just to feel like I was doing something haha. My experience was great, they (another employee came out for a short gym convo, she was also nice) got me in and out & my drink hit just the right spot after my workout. I think they still do $5 Friday's at many locations so if you need a healthy fix or meal replacement and you haven't tried Smoothie King out, give this location a shot! read more

They have a drive-thru and open at 7:00am. There was no one in line when I got there and it took them a few minutes to make my smoothie and get me on my way. Weren't the friendly but it's close to my house and the quality was more important. read more

Very slow and WAY over priced. The only reason they stay in business because near 24 hour fitness Waited AGAIN over 10 min at windows - service sucks read more

This location isn't that great. They are too inconsistent with the drinks. I always rotate between 4 flavors, so I know very well how each if them should taste. They don't always get it right though, and that's just too disappointing. Of course, when they do get it right, it's great. I would say they get it wrong 25% of the time, which is far too often. There are a lot of healthy options or post/pre workout meals and supplements. The huge selection may be intimidating but once you get your niche, you'll know what you'll get almost every time. Customer service is good. They are friendly and make sure they get your smoothies out quickly. When the product is the main selling point, customer service alone won't convince a patron to keep coming back. I don't think I'll be coming back to this Smoothie King because of the inconsistency with the drinks. read more

On Friday October 21, 2021 we made a pick order while we were still at the gym in the parking lot where this Smoothie King is located. We decided to walk over to the Smoothie King to pick up our smoothies. As we were stepping up to the door an employee was coming out and the other employee quickly locked the door behind the employee and walked away from the door like we weren't there. The operating hours on door displays the closing hour for that day as 10 pm. We arrived at the location at approximately 6:50 PM. We had to walk back to our car which was parked near the gym and drive back over to the Smoothie King and wait in the drive-thru to pick up our order. We were in the line for at least another 15 minutes before we made it to the speaker where we informed the employee we have a mobile pick up order. When we arrived at the window to pick up we inquired about the closed lobby. She stated they normally close later but when it's busy they close the lobby early. In my opinion that is absolutely ludicrous and causes a decrease in business. I watched at least 5 people drive off when they realized the lobby was closed. I don't blame them. There were at least 4 cars behind us and 3 in front of us. For this reason I won't be returning to this location. What kind of business/ management eliminates consumer access options (No lobby access. ONLY drive thru during business hours) to purchase their product as their resolution to high consumer traffic? Especially on the one day of the week they have $5 smoothies. Ludicrous. What's the point in having a pick up order if I still need to wait 15 minutes in the drive thru line to tell them about it? read more

Drive thru was packed when I arrived so I decided to park (plenty or parking) and come in. This location is very frustrating for the past month I have gone there at 6:30 in the morning when they're supposed to open but every single day they do not open at 6:30 in the morning it's more like 635 640 645 which is very inconvenient for people who are trying to stop there before they go to work to get a smoothie and to not be late for work because they're waiting on people to open the store that should have been open 5 to 20 minutes ago as I write this I am waiting in the parking lot I can see the workers in there but they have not open the store yet I had to leave because I didn't want to be late for work this happens way way way too much if you go there past 7 o'clock in the morning you're fine but if your establishment is supposed to open at 6:30 you need to open at 6:30 read more

I went to Smoothie King after my workout. There was one car ahead of me in the drive thru. When I pulled up to order, I waited over 5 minutes for anyone to acknowledge me.
