Better management needs to be in place so they can schedule people better so that way the doors aren't locked when it says they're open

Horrible, SK should be ashamed. Went to the SK on Archer and 34th St in Gainesvlle. All their blenders were "DOWN". Really ?????? When pulled up saw an employee walking out of the side door drinking a Smoothie. DOWN right........... This SK is awful. Put in a bad review almost 3 weeks ago and got a message someone would contact me and still have not heard anything from them. This SK is a dump. I went there again the other day and nothing changed except they couldn't make any smoothies as the clerk told us (3 other people came in right after we went in) that ALL there blenders were "DOWN". I found this hard to believe because as we were pulling up another clerk (whom I recognize as a SK employee) walked out of the back door with a smoothie. My husband and I went to one about 10 minutes away and that SK was beautiful compared to the one off Archer and 34th. It was large, very clean and staffed *(something that the other one often is not as usually there is only one person there. SK should be ashamed of this store. I used to always go to this location, but have been going less often recently. I went to get a smoothie recently and no one was upfront (I suspect it was because it was very hot in there), no big deal, so I called out a "Hello" to signal to the staff there was someone up front. When no one responded I waited a few minutes then called out again. No one came up after another minute or two I so I looked in the window to the kitchen to see if anyone was actually there and the two employees were sitting with their feet propped up and headphones on. When I knocked on the window one of them gave me an insulted look and one eventually came out front. The service had declined over time and I noticed their smoothies have less protein and ingredients than they used to contain. I am going to just make my smoothies at home from now on since I can get more for less than they ask now. read more

Always closes 1 or 2 hours early so you never know if they'll be open. I'm tired of driving to a place that's supposed to be open just for them to not be open. Their door says 10 pm and today they're closed at 8:15. read more

The customer service at this location hands-down is the worst customer service at any Smoothie King that I've been to. I travel all over the country and I visit Smoothie King pretty much anytime it's available but I am local to this area so I visit this specific Smoothie King because it is the only place that is close to home. Whoever is managing this location is not training their staff to be courteous welcoming and respectful like I said I visit this location often so I see the same employees acting the same way. You walk up to the counter and they will literally stand there without saying anything no greeting hi how's it going? How can I help you just straight silence and it's not just one employee it's damn near every employee so that tells me that the issue isn't just one bad apple it's the management it's the environment that the employees are creating for themselves. I went in there today and they were just sitting on their phones watching TikTok videos while I stood there, patiently, waiting for somebody to approach and ask me what I needed. Eventually, one of the ladies did approach and asked me what I would like to order. Overall, the smoothies are good. Seeing that they follow a strict guideline in preparing them. They can't really mess them up too much, but other than the bad service I have noticed that they do not wash out the blenders as often as other locations the blenders are extremely dirty at this location and because a lot of fruit is being used, that causes issues, flies, bacteria, mold things of that nature. I typically request that they wash out the blender before using it and preparing my smoothie. read more

The staff has always been nice and they are relatively quick. My only complaint is that the app offers curbside pick up, but when you arrive and call to let them know you are there, they tell you they don't offer curbside. Otherwise they seem to do a great job. And it's not inconvenient to park and walk inside at all. I just had kids in the car the last time I went and curbside would've been more convenient. read more

I absolutely LOVE a great smoothie! No matter the time of day, a fruit smoothie can always pick me up. Smoothie King happens to be one of my favorite smoothie stops in the city because I love the huge variety of options! Being dairy-free and not wanting a smoothie full of sugar, Smoothie King makes it easy to grab a quick smoothie full of all of the nutrients, fruits and veggies that I love! The prices are not always my favorite, but I do love that they participate in Gator Greenbacks, have deals on Friday for $5 32oz drinks and also have a % off program for those who follow/check-in. BUT - I've never been asked to prove these things so I've never gotten the deal, as of course, that's not something I'll always remember to show, most places ask automatically but their sign is displayed at the end of the line sooo :( Either way! I always receive great service while instore, recently a young man went out of his way to personally recommend a Smoothie to my friend and I based on the fruit we were looking for! Waited 18 minutes to order a smoothie, never ordered it since I had to go to work. Would not be mad if it was a long line, but it was the same 2 people in the store for those 18 minutes and they came out with only 2 smoothies, one for each and nothing else. Makes no sense why it took so long or why the one who was already holding a smoothie wasn't asked to go outside so another customer could come in. Leaving my second review of any company, ever, because of one specific employee. Alexa Raven at the Archer Road and 34th location is one of the best customer oriented and knowledgeable employees I've had the pleasure of being served by. Knows the inside and out of each shake, nutrition info, and is friendly to boot. I often walk in and ask about nutrition info, trying to get a good post work-out smoothie. I really love a good smoothie, who doesn't? This location does not provide. The employees are quite rude, I don't think I have talked to people that seem so disdainful for no reason!!!!! I have came several times and the only employee,( the same one mentioned later in this review), was the only time I have felt like I didn't have daggers in my back !!!and a not too thick to drink and good smoothie. Yesterday was busy and there were only two employees and the boy just up and left leaving only one while there were so many customers!!! ‍I don't blame the only employee for the time it took because guess what!!!! The smoothies came out still good and quick because the boy that left did not even help with smoothies prior to walking out!! Why have an attitude when you're making your coworker do everything while you half ass wash dishes. I hope all the tips were not given to him !!
