I waited for the manager who was on duty, I got the impression he wasn't the main guy, and told him I bought the item on Friday and tried to use them but they taste horrible! He immediately said we don't take things back because you don't like them. I said there's something wrong with them. I asked him to taste one that was still in the cellophane wrapper and he declined to do so. He looked at the package and said the sell by date was December, which explains why they were rancid. Then the cashier pipes up and says I had to cook them first, then the other cashier joined in the conversation, the one who couldn't talk to me and needed a manager. So now there are three young people talking at the same time to me, a 73 year old woman. I just handed the shells to them, told them to throw them away and that they should be ashamed of themselves.
