I swear visiting location is like torture! They make you wait endless lengths of time while they stand around chatting or they continuously go to the back to do who knows what. All while having a lobby full of people. Once they do start making drinks they just set the drinks on the counter and never call out anybody's name. So people still continue to stand, buried in their phones that they've utilized to pass the time, all so they can continue to stand there for endless amounts of time. I went last night for my online order. When I got there it was 1 guy waiting and another guy waiting to order. I waited in the car for the confirmation time listed in my email which was 10-15 minute wait. No smoothie so I stepped back outside. After seeing 7 people come in and order after me get their order and I still didn't see my 1 smoothie I went back in. The customer service of both ladies was horrible. The one who said her name was Bri asked if I had a 44 oz and while I was pulling it up because at that point I couldnt remember she became impatient so I told her 1 moment. I confirmed the size and my name. Her and the other girl looked at each other and made a face as if I wasn't standing right there. Bri laughed and the other girl walked off leaving a blender with a smoothie just sitting there, there. I then asked Bri if I could just get a refund it was going on 30 minutes and I didn't like the service level she asked my name again and said oh this is yours right here, the 1 sitting there in the blender ready. I told her I counter 7 people come in order and receive their orders after I ordered. She told me if you order in store it's priority over app orders. I said okay wow I thought at minimum the orders would be fulfilled in the order in which you received them. She said no we make orders made in store as priority. 30 minutes for a smoothie that had been left sitting in the blender on top of rude service. I have ordered from this location multiple times with different ways app/instore and delivery/pickup. They have messed up my order on multiple occasions, service is not consistent and often times you are just subjected to what you get. Delivery is hit or miss - I am currently sitting in the store picking up an order that I ordered as delivery and it was completely wrong. I called and they answered with "whataburger, I mean smoothie king" - I explain the situation and they say they can make another order but I will have to come and pick it up. we arrived at smoothie king around 7:00 and there was already quite a lot of people waiting for their drinks when we got there. since it was a wednesday and people just got done working out at a local park. it was understandable that there was a wait. we ordered our 2 smoothies and waited for them watching people that arrived later than us and pickup orders (pickups are understandable) get their drink before us. it wasn't one or two orders it was 7-10 drinks which had been placed after us. we waited almost an hour for our drinks. service was normal for a rush but waiting 45 minutes? with other orders that were placed after than us prioritized? noted i will not be placing my order there again. read more

I have visited Cedar Hill location 5 times since opening. Yes, one, my very first mango fest blend, was simply tasteless. Honestly, as a smoothie lover, I thought it was in the very best interest of the preparer to inform him that perhaps the recipe or measurements were off... I returned to the cashier and shared my disappointment. My 1st mango fest slim blend smoothie from this location needed something MORE! Mango, perhaps? Pineapple, papaya juice, maybe? The guy at the register said ok, no problem. Within a few minutes I had an amazing new blended mango smoothie. Current visits to this location have far exceeded my expectation. I am a repeat customer here and at the Lovefield-Mockingbird location. My suggestion, let them know if you are unhappy with your smoothie during your visit. This location can only get better. That's it. The only way to get a descend amount of protein is to order a 700+ calorie , almost 10 dollar smoothie... Horrible experience. I ordered a 32 oz strawberry Slim n Trim and my smoothie didn't taste nothing like what I ordered. I was the LAST person in the store because the workers forgot to make my smoothie and the girl at the cash register didn't give them my order. BEWARE!!! So a group of Cedar Hill ISD teachers on my campus sent someone out for our routine $5 Friday Smoothie run and this was in my Slim N Trim Vanilla w/strawberries ... LITTLE RED PLASTIC particles!!! I literally couldn't believe it! I drank and consumed about four slurps before realizing the particles weren't dissolving! So we poured a bit out on a white paper towel to examine it closer. Red plastic pieces... in my drink!!!!! I was horrified because I'd swallowed a lot of this stuff! What had I consumed??? I told her that I wasn't able to leave the campus until after students were dismissed a few hours later. She understood and said to bring it up then. Got to Smoothie King, asked for Beth, the young man named David (later found out he was the manager) told me that Beth had left for the day. I showed him the smoothie and explained the situation. He never picked up the cup to look, never apologized, or anything. He said that it was probably a blended up straw or piece of plastic that the strawberries come in! He didn't seem very concerned at all! Because of the lack of concern, I asked for a card with corporate's number, they didn't have it, I was told that I would have to "Google it". If i could put less than a star I would. The keys to my vehicle were stolen by one of the employees there during my transaction. Which they advised their tender machine was down, she grabbed my card behind the counter. I should have felt this was suspicious but I did not question the young lady. When I asked if they knew had my keys, they told me no multiple times. I had to walk a little under 4 miles back to my job because the office refused to show me footage of my transaction. i had to leave my vehicle behind and disconnected my battery just in case. i asked for a regional contact in order to review footage, only to be given a phony email from the store. Terrible customer service!! Yesterday, around 1pm, I walked in with my girlfriend to order a smoothie and the cashier was just so rude to us!. This smoothie king appears to be fairly new and it looks pretty nice on the outside. Although this location opens on Sunday at 10am;it was a few.minutes after 10am and the doors were still locked. It was cool though because I had plenty of time. As I ordered my smoothie the youngsters were polite bit looked like they didnt want to be at work at that moment. I was greeted when I walked in. Everyone was very friendly. They patiently allowed me to download my rewards app & try log-in. When it did not work, I was advised that I could always upload it to the app in order to get credit. The smoothies are yummy & the portions are huge for the price (especially compared to another smoothie place that I have not seen since I moved to TX). I went in on a Friday, but was not able to get the $5 special because of the type of smoothie that I ordered (Vegan Mango Kale). But they do give you a discount off of the price. There used to be a Smoothie King in Cedar Hill along time ago so, certainly can take a page in that book of what both To do. You have to set your self apart and service is always key. There is a lot of sugar in them so it's like a milk shake but my daughter is a tooth pick so it's fun to splurge on her.
