FANTASTIC smoothie. No weird chemical taste at all. It was well made and fresh…read more The ladies working there were wonderfully helpful teaching me about the menu (my first time there). They have samples! What a great idea! It helped me figure out what I wanted AND what I'll get next time. Brilliant. The one lady took her time to really explain to me each ingredient. The place is bright, clean, and with very cute branding everywhere. I'll be back.

This is there second shop in the area (Princeton is the other), and a third is near opening in Ocean City. The ambiance is blond wood, lots of windows and growing succulents on every table and shelf. It is bright and cheery, inviting a long hangout for work or conversation. Power plugs are plentiful. I walked in intending to grab and go, but was quickly seduced by the attractiveness of the room and friendliness of the two women who interacted with me. I ordered a Blue Royale Smoothie, and as the only customer in the house, took a table in the corner overlooking the entire operation and the sunny world outside. It was primarily a blueberry concoction, with several other healthy ingredients mixed in, and presented after blending as a deep purple slurry. It was cool and delicious and encouraged a slow pull on the straw to stretch out the enjoyment. I took a final suck 30 minutes later; that's how good it was. I will return in the morning for their steel cut oatmeal and perhaps the avocado toast. Just wish they brewed organic coffee for those of us with caffeine needs. Too, Pure Green would be an unchallenged social benefit if they found a way to reduce plastics in their products. At $10+ for a smoothie or bowl, that should not be so difficult to work into their environmental footprint. Otherwise, Pure Green has a lot of nutripromise.

( the card reader has preset tips 20%, 15% 10% and no tip). I placed my card in the reader. He actually reached over the register pushed the green butt so it would give him a preset 20% tip. How greedy!!!! I pulled out my card and it errored out. Second time I covered the card reader so he could not hit the buttons. Again he watched me put cash in the tip jar. Be careful if you go to the Tullytown location.

Clean and bright with wall decor to bring you into their tropical milieu, by which I mean, lots of beachy pastels. So, first I ordered my liquids - the Açaí Berry Blast (açaí, pomegranate, banana, blueberries, strawberries) in a "balanced fusion" heavy blender production. Yup. Very berry it was, and quite tasty, if a bit too frosty (those ice crystals were not ideal). Then, I looked to the breakfast options and chose a new item, the Cali Breakfast Flatbread (grilled chicken, scrambled eggs, cheese, smashed avocado, chipotle mayo, on toasted flatbread). It was a heavy load and something of a mess due to squeezage by the time I opened the wrapped folded flatbread at the office. They really should pack a spoon or shovel with this baby to pick up and consume all that outside the foldwich. I found the flatbread to be more a fat tortilla than a true crisp flatbread. They really need to work on it to enhance the texture and taste to be more than a vehicle to hold the contents. The overall flavor and texture was complex with all the ingredients, which was enjoyable but a tad messy. I can live without the chipotle mayo, which offered a sour element to the overall freshness of the rest. $11.98 for this combo, which was reasonable by weight, but perhaps in need of reimagining to address the iciness of the smoothie and the messiness of the flatbread. 3.5 STARS

I was heading home from a park with dog and thought this wasn't far from there and went with it. Beautiful day out to be standing in a line waiting for chicken. The line did move quickly and after you ordered, you shuffled to the other line. Everyone's orders were being called out chronologically. Short menu and to the point. It's a great business concept. I too as most of the reviews, went with the Loaded Fries. Gigantic doesn't explain it. It was just me eating. Had it for a few meals. Delicious. Crisp on the outside fries, seasoned, juicy chicken, mild seasoning which still had a nice kick to it. Real saucy. I suppose my only complaint would be could I for once order this like a half size? My issue, not theirs. I'll be back to try one of those good-looking sandwiches. The service was great. The team in the kitchen was working hard and doing a great job.

It was my first time so I kept my order nice and simple chicken sandwich and fries. Both were 10 /10! The seasoning was amazing and the sauce that they use had the perfect amount of space. I originally thought that the chicken would be too spicy because of the restaurant name, but I was able to order mild. Definitely will be back for more.

Other features include an area to post business cards/messages, a pay it forward board, board games and wifi. The guy working behind the counter was pleasant and knowledgeable about their coffee offering which comes from Homestead Coffee Roasters of Upper Black Eddy. Their drink menu consists of hot/cold coffee, tea, lattes, and espresso based drinks. I tried the drip coffee and would highly recommend it. It is a private label version of Homesteads Darkness - dark & bold with notes of rich, smokey chocolate. I enjoyed the dark roast, rich chocolate and its bold full body. The cortado and espresso I had were ok. I found them to be a little too bitter, but there was a strong roasted earthiness flavor that I liked. On a return trip I'll have to try their Vietnamese coffee. Food wise I've had the sausage egg and cheese on a bagel and a bacon egg and cheese on an everything bagel. They are simple and decent sized with simple folded egg patties and cheddar cheese on average bagels. The sausage had a little spicy kick and the bacon was pretty tasty (NOTE: they do offer pork roll as an option). I was given some hot sauce packets to go. You can also get sandwiches on a croissant. The rest of the menu is simple - toasts, sandwiches, salads, some items for the kids. They do sell their private label coffee beans in retail bags and will grind them for you. I'll stop in again if I'm in the area. The coffee and ambiance is great, the food is ok to good, service great and the idea of a non profit that supports community is commendable. Thanks!!
