Another over-priced sad excuse for expensive BBQ beef Jerky. This place is a "one and done" for us. Getting extremely tired of paying premium prices for garbage product. The brisket burnt ends taste, and feel, like they're re-heating and serving leftovers from yesterday or the day before. Portions are kid plate sizes - definitely does NOT match the prices they are charging us. Not sure how these places stay open, but guess they depend on people getting what they're served and keeping their mouths shut; probably from all the dried meats. Ribs taste old - again, taste like it was leftover and re-heated from Saturday. Okras were good. Mac is good. Turkey was moist and tender. As for the rest, it was as dry as their toast. I found Smokints on Yelp and they were close to my house in hopes that the food would still be delivered warm. I know that nothing beats in restaurant dining for fresh, hot food. I ordered the 3 meat combo with pork ribs, sliced brisket and chicken. You also get to choose 2 sides and I chose fries and baked beans. Unfortunately, the beans were not in the bag so I'll have to try them another time. The ribs were tender and I chose the Carolina sauce to try also. The sauce was great with a little bit of heat to it. The sliced brisket was super tender too. I have nothing to compare it to but it was delicious! The chicken was chicken. Decent barbecue if you are craving it and in the area. Both of the guys working were very friendly, so no issues in the customer service department. There was a review a few days ago talking about how the restrooms were disgusting, I did not find that to be the case during my visit, everything was clean and well maintained in the restaurant and the restrooms. The food itself was alright, we ordered the 3 meat combo with pulled pork, brisket burnt ends, jalapeno sausage with mac n cheese and potato salad. The pulled pork was extremely dry and difficult to enjoy without sauce (which was good). The brisket burnt ends which are a $4 up charge, had a good bark and flavor, but were also pretty dry and benefited from sauce, which you can see both in the attached photos. The jalapeno sausage was my least favorite, something about it felt generic almost like i've had the same exact thing elsewhere. The mac n cheese was pretty good, and the potato salad was also good in a very classic way. Overall, its worth stopping by and giving it a shot, especially if you're on this side of town and want barbecue because there is not many options. I picked up an order after toggling through the Postmates maze of distractions. It was about 7pm. I was greeted pretty much immediately when I entered. I ordered a 3 meat combo but they were out of chicken so I requested more ribs. The entrance is pretty wide open and the menu is available for viewing at the door. Since I ordered pickup I just went right to the counter. It looks like a smokehouse/bbq type of place if that makes sense. Like you feel like you're at a backyard bbq and I enjoyed that. I got the sauces on the side and the meal comes with a Texas toast and 2 sides. Fries (which were def the freshest I've had in a long time) and bbq baked beans (one of my fave sides of all times). Brisket was juicy and flavorful and not tooooo fatty. Like you really get a good amount of actual meat. The ribs were so tender and well seasoned. Smoky and delicious. I'm glad the sauce came on the side because it's not needed but still delicious. The baked beans reminded of beans I'd have at a family bbq. Three of us went for dinner on a Monday night about 90 minutes prior to closing. The meats were good and the sides were excellent. Most all the brisket was tender and delicious, while a little bit was dry and sliced too thick. Most all the chicken was good, but some was a little dry. The brisket burnt ends were great, but again a few were hard and dry. We're guessing most of the dryness was the result of us coming in near the end of the shift. It was my fourth visit to smoke and t's, and the other visits had slowly moved from very good to what I would call adequate and the quality of food for the price. This visit, however I picked up some burnt end and brisket to go. I did specifically request brisket flat and watch them cut brisket point for me.. when I asked them if they only did the point at this location they responded saying no they do both point and flat. I mentioned to the person that prepped the meat my request for flat.. She responded that she just gave me 'whatever was in the thing.' There was no attempt by either employee to rectify the mistake and they pushed my back to me thanking me and moving out of the next customer. With a change from very good barbecue to no better than typical the only thing still going for smoking t's was its service. That obviously gone completely out the window I won't be back. read more

Hidden gem! Outstanding burnt pork ends. I've been to every bbq place in town and this one is amongst the best. My partner and I came in around 8pm on a Wednesday night. I'd been curious about this place for awhile because I could smell their smoke across the lot when visiting the frozen yogurt shop. It reminded me a lot of the famous Franklin's in Austin, TX. The restaurant was clean. Plenty of seating is available with large tables and there is a bar/counter. The menu is packed with a great selection of meat choices and ample sides. They also have a full bar with a specialty cocktail list, some draft beers, wine, and a drink of the month. They do have a happy hour and Ladies Night on Thursdays featuring half off bottles of wine. We were quickly greeted, order taken and our food was ready in no time. Staff was very friendly. We ordered the 3 meat combo with 2 sides. We chose pork burnt ends, brisket, and ribs with garlic mashed potatoes and green beans. This has to be the most tender and juicy meat I've had outside of Franklin's. All three meats were succulent and had the perfect amount of smokiness that was so tasty. The 3 sauces provided (smoky, plain, and sweet) complimented the meats without overshadowing the meat flavor. Describing the burnt ends as divine does not do that dish justice. The green beans were delightfully soft without being mushy and the garlic mashed potatoes were so good and rich they were almost like a dessert. In the last 5 years, I've found some good BBQ spots in Vegas and I'm adding SmokinT's to my list of favorites. Their brisket is life-changing! It's the juiciest I've ever had. Their meats are so flavorful - you won't even need to put sauce. The sauce is less vinegary which I love too. You can buy meats by the pound, in a sandwich, a combo plate or on a baked potato. If you get a combo plate, you get Texas toast and your choice of 2 sides which is the best option so you can try different meats and sides. We came here on a Thursday night and surprisingly, there was nobody dining here. But they did have a long ticket for a to-go order that nearly sold out their ribs. Plenty of tables for 4 people with power outlets at each one so you can charge your electronics. There's a bar area and a big table close to the door. You will smell like BBQ when you leave this place so either get food to-go or come here whenever then shower again. Pulled Pork: Generous portions of flavorful pork. 4/5 Brisket: My favorite menu item! Absolutely J-U-I-C-Y! Hands down the best beef brisket I've ever had. End of story. 5/5 x 1,000,000 Ribs: Flavorful even on its own. No sauce needed. Not fall-off-the-bone tender but still good. 3.5/5 Mac n Cheese: There's a slight kick to this mac n cheese. Additionally, the corn bread was very small pieces. The 3 BBQ sauces here were very good along with the fries. Overall, the restaurant is a bit disorganized and when they brought our food out they didn't give us any silverware or plates (they also don't have any out). This place was one of my worst resteraunt experiences. We came in very optimistic because I love bbq food! So we come in and there is only 3 customers at 4 pm for context. We sit down and we are very clearly being rushed to order. The server even told us he was in a hurry to leave and literally asked us if we knew what to order 5 times within 2 minutes. Then the guy didn't know the menu. We asked for cabbage slaw and he said they don't have it, but then its literally on the menu as a topper, in which he is screaming across embarrassingly for help. He was rude about our drinks too. Then he has us pay BEFORE FOOD (tip included). He overcharged me twice as much and he was apologetic but he clearly didnt know what he was doing. If I didn't say anything I would've paid $90 for a $35 order in which I had to convince him that we didn't order half the items he typed in. Then the food comes out and my sandwich was missing cheese as it says it comes with it on the menu. (Mind you a sandwich with 3 ingredients). I asked and the employees started getting mad at eachother. Then they handed me 2 cold slices of cheddar cheese for a hot sandwich. I was flabbergasted to say the least. The server said he could get us a desert to make up for it. But they have 3 options for desert and were out of 2 of them. They only had the cheap pre wrapped cookies that I find at the dollar store.
