I bought lunch for five of us at work today. It was "Fish and Chips Friday " for $4.99 and two girls got the fish special. They felt the portion was relatively large for the price and the fries were great. Three of us got the brisket street tacos and they were so awesome for $6.99 and you get two tacos. FYI Taco Tuesdays special is two tacos for $4.99! I was really impressed with the BRISKET . Juicy, and flavored just right. If your a fan of brisket this is the place in Salisbury. Thanks Nick! I'll be back for sure and it will be for the BRISKET sandwich because this was crazy GOOD ! It left me wanting more. French fries were so good. read more

The food here is pretty good. I am happy with the food selections we chose. We got grilled chicken, ribs, brisket, burnt ends. I got carryout, so I don't have a lot to say. The staff was very friendly. One item was missing from my order, but they forgot to but it in the bag and I was able to run up there and get it. When I went back, the owner apologized and discounted another sandwich that I ordered when I went back. Other than that, I had a good experience. read more

This is a nice restaurant option at hoppers. I got the pulled pork loaded tater tots which was definitely large enough to share between 4 people. The chicken quesadillas were pretty good. My friend had the pulled pork sandwich with the sweet sauce, she said it was good but the sweetness of the sauce was a lot for her. Overall, a great meal. read more

I will be back to try because I am a BBQ snob, it smelled great, and I walked around back to check the smoker out. They use logs for flavor and heat, and maintain the temp with propane. Came to visit my bf he goes to salisbury uni, come to find out he hadn't even been in this place. The scenery is really cool/ versatile for any of your plans. we got the pulled bbq chicken sandwich sweat heat, brisket sandwich, boardwalk fries, mac and cheese, cornbread and the pickle fries. all im gonna say is we came back the next day. I ordered the pulled pork sandwich and thoroughly enjoyed it. Personally, I really enjoy their recipes for BBQ sauces, especially the honey one. The sandwich definitely satisfied my desire for some decent BBQ around Salisbury, MD. The quality of the fries were above average and were about the average amount as most places. I highly recommend a visit. The atmosphere is also nice since it is a part of the newly established food court that is combined with Hopper's Tap House. And, the location does not get any better for the college students and the southern part of Salisbury. read more

Good location across from SU. Big variety menu, which isn't a good a thing. You advertise as a BBQ spot, yet you serve hamburgers and seafood? There is enough hamburger joints in Salisbury, don't need another one. Now for the BBQ it's self. I got the Pit Beef sandwich. However that beef never touched a pit fire. Cooked in an oven and then smoked for the "smoke" taste. Came with a side of fries which were home made curly fries, however there may have been 8 fries total. I added a drink and my total came to $14. $14 for a meal that didn't fill me up. Lets move on to the condiment counter, it consisted of Ketchup and Mustard...You are a BBQ joint! Put out your homemade sauces for people to try! I will probably give them a second chance, but not right now. Need to improve some things first. read more

We had a taco-themed party at a State Park and used Smokin' BBQ Grille as our caterer. Nick Schlegel and his wife, Michelle helped us through the ordering, delivery, and set-up of the food. It was not only delicious (I particularly liked the pulled pork and cheese sauce taco) but easy to eat. Everyone could serve themselves and have what they wanted since it was set up as a taco bar. Their cole slaw is delicious also. Many thanks to the Schlegels for making this affordable event easy to plan, and for calmly and with great patience guiding us through the whole process. The best food in Salisbury. Period. Yup, it's that good. The chicken (and yes, this is chicken country and I work for Perdue, so I know chicken) is ridiculously good - even better than in our office restaurant. Seriously, try the smoked chicken quarters. That's the healthiest all-protein food you can eat, but it tastes like you're eating something decadent and when the Smokin' BBQ Grill guys work their magic - which as I understand it involves a bunch of time in the smoker - there is simply nothing healthier and better tasting around. The ribs and pulled pork are crazy good too. This is my favorite place to eat. Along with crabs, it's the only food I've ever dreamt about. Yeah, it's THAT good. Try it. There's also a nice bar in the complex which serves Dogfishhead 60 minute IPA. Those two together... I'm in heaven. Enjoy my friends! read more

DISAPPOINTED. Husband and I finally got over to try the food. All I can say is thank goodness for Hoppers! After a ridiculously long wait, we got our food- pulled pork sand, burnt end sand, baked beans, coleslaw. Food was almost completely cold- makes no sense, can't even keep it hot on a steam table or something? Not like they are smoking to order! Beans, tasteless, like plain campbells straight out of the can, coleslaw was barely dressed, almost bone dry. The rolls they use for the sandwiches are too dense, they need to steam them or something if they are going to stick with those. Portions- small, sides come in paper boats- they were 1/4 filled. Too expensive, food not good enough, and small portions. We wound up taking a pizza home from DaNizza because we were still hungry and knew that would be awesome, which it was! Could have had 3 pizzas for what we spent, won't go back unless I hear they change. Also agree with another reviewer- why doing fish, tacos etc, stick to BBQ, improve the food, portions, and menu- no platters, just sandwiches? Sorry, but just don't get it :( read more

I'm writing this for my Aunt who's treatment at this restaurant was appalling. On 4/14/17 we went for dinner at a food court in Salisbury that included Smokin BBQ Grille. She ordered the fish and chips. After the first bite, it was apparent the fish was not good. Very fishy tasting and suspicious tasting. She returned to the counter and explained the situation. The manager very sarcastically said "it's fish, it's suppose to be fishy" and then offered her to make another selection from the menu. After ringing her up full price, she questioned why he had not removed the fish from the cost. He informed her she paid for it, too bad if she didn't like it. She returned to our table with nothing. My mom than suggested if she paid for the fish, tell him you want it back. She did ( not that she would eat it). She told the manager since she paid for it, give it back. He then directed one of his employees to take it out of the trash and serve it to her! She walked away and informed others in the line not to order the fish, it was bad. She walked to another restaurant and the manager from Smokin BBQ followed her and informed she would have to leave the food court. HA! This guy was insane. I hope all this great press was worth the 8 bucks! She is reporting them to the health department. Gotta wonder how often they take food out of the garbage to serve to customers who complain! read more
