excellent service and super fast and professional, definitely recommend for smog check

Highly recommend you get your smog check here! Fred is the best! Professional and honest!! I was in and out before I knew it. read more

Alfred was a pro, was kind and even put up with my happy Pomeranian. I so appreciate this place. I first tried another place based on a coupon I received in the mail. Apparently, this anonymous place did not pay their fees to the DMV and the DMV shut them down so I waited for weeks with my renewal notice in my car. I came across Smog Stops Here and I am so thankful. Perhaps, Alfred is a bit more expensive than some others but it is so worth it. I was in and out of there in 15 minutes and there were two cars ahead of me. Alfred, you are kind and amazing and I cannot recommend your shop strongly enough. I also noticed how clean your place is and that too impressed me although I was out of there so quickly, I didn't spend too much timeThank you so much sir. I'll definitely refer others to you! read more

I guess this place is under new ownership. Great experience. Quick and Painless, competitively priced, and it was the only place I found open (late evening). Smog Check Passed: 2001 Land Rover Discovery 2 read more

I've been coming here for many many years. Fred bought the place several years ago and has earned my loyalty. It's never too busy, he's friendly and professional; knows cars backwards and forwards, and I wouldn't think about bringing my cars anywhere else. And since he only does smog (no repairs) you can trust he's not trying to upsell you "repairs" you don't need. read more

Came here to do my smog, very very professional and efficient. Got my car done in under 15 minutes. Did exactly as promised at an amazing price. Definitely recommend to anyone who needs to get their smog done. Also they're open on a Sunday, that itself deserves 5 stars. read more

Wonderful and easy smog check experience! Mr. Abolian was very gracious and friendly and quickly completed my truck's first smog check. All costs where specified on the form I filled out prior to the smog check. His shop is very clean and you can see the pride he takes in his business. If you are in the area and need a smog check Smog Stops Here is where you need to go!! read more

So here I am sitting in the Costco line for gas and I really needed a smog check today to sell a car. While I sit in line I start calling around and this is the first place to answer and the guy couldn't be nicer. I continue to get some price comparisons around the area and I found one cheaper by $2. When I got here I asked if he'd price match and he said "sure, why not?" Vic's a great guy, super fast service and speaks English, lol. I'll definitely come here again for my future smog checks. read more

I stopped in on a Saturday morning to their shop on Glenoaks. They referred me to Fred at this location. He had been called that I was on the way and ran the smog check quickly and efficiently processed DMV paperwork. Fred was friendly and kind. I'll definitely return. read more

The owner was very professional and informative. I have highly recommended him to my friends and family .

Fast and extremely friendly! I was in and out, no hassles, no hidden fees. Will service all my vehicles here from now on!

Sadly I found out the hard way that if your check engine light is on it is a automatic fail. No matter what it's from. So everyone please be aware first. Testing centers know this but I was told they can't tell you that. I don't know if that is true or not. To me it doesn't make sense but by testing they know you won't go somewhere else later. I paid full price including the certificate amount that I did not get and I don't think should have been charged at that time as I didn't get it. However If brought back within the time limit they retest. After costly repairs I went back and got it. If I had know I would have gone to the mechanic first. Always in life consumers have to stay aware. read more

Ah, the dreaded state-funded extortion racket known as smog testing. Another government sponsored fleecing of the citizens of California. Let's be honest...it stinks. But unless you are going to start a revolution then you are going to have to comply and have it done. Fellow Yelp readers, if you are in the Burbank/Glendale/Toluca Lake area, Vic is the man to see. I've had Vic doing smog checks on my vehicles since 2005 and in all that time he's always been cheerful, professional, efficient, and helpful. I've never visited him, rain or shine, when he isn't smiling. He actually makes this process enjoyable and he seems to love his work. With state controlled pricing you would think that there was no way for a Smog Check place to distinguish itself. Well, you thought wrong. Vic's my guy and he should be your guy too. read more

Coupon price for SmogStopsHere has gone UP to $50 plus certificate so total 58 bucks. I think that's a cash-price-only. Still a good place to get a quick smog check and a convenient location for me, but they really shouldn't be advertising "lowest price in the valley" because it's not. Joe's is 50 bucks out the door and so is In & Out Smog if you mention their website coupon. read more

If you want fast and professional smog this is the place. My smog was due today (Monday)and I had forgotten, luckily I found this place in Burbank on a busy Saturday that accepted me without an appointment. II drove in without appointment, Alfred I believe the owner was very nice and professional. He didn't waste any time, got right on it! FYI, this please is extremely clean for a smog shop and with reasonable price. read more

Loved my "5-star" experience here. They were knowledgeable and by far the best price in town. Fred was a delight. Couldn't be happier.

We arrived at the shop at 7:04 am on a Thursday morning and it was already open and ready to go! Alfred was efficient and extremely knowledgeable - you can tell he has tons of experience!! Reasonable pricing too! Will definitely be back. Thanks again! read more

My mechanic recommended this place. It's actually hard to find, easy to drive right by the first time. Vic gets you out of there quickly. Quick, professional, courteous, but a little pricier than other places that offer discounts with a coupon. read more

I can't tell how happy I am that I took my truck to these people for a smog test. I was running late and they we totally ok with staying after 5pm if needed All I can say is try them and It's one less thing to worry about We have 4 cars and I plan on seeing them for smog tests from here on in read more

As others have mentioned, this smog shop is under new ownership. The owner before was amazing, and luckily nothing has changed with this new owner. I have been to other smog shops (In & Out Smog) where they hassled me over not having an O2 sensor. The thing is, my car never came with an O2 sensor. Even after calling Volkswagen and verifying over the phone with the guy, he acted like he was doing me a favor by testing my car! Anyway, I no longer have to deal with that now that I have Smog Stops Here. The prices here are reasonable and the owner even let me know ahead of time what to prepare for so I don't waste my time or money smogging something that won't pass. read more

Great experience here! I haven't had to get a smog check since the mid 90's, but I brought my sons old truck here. The guy was super nice and efficient. I was able to check this off my to do list in 20 minutes! All done! I recommend Smog Stop Here. read more
