Had a issue with my battery and I had took it to another mechanic and they had said it was issue with the alternator and then I took it here and they gave me the truth of it just being a loose bolt saved my self 500 dollars ! Not just that everyone here is very kind and honest and they just told me to order the part and didn't charge me awesome place ! read more

Hes a pretty honest guy about what problems your car has. I do feel like hes a little more on the pricey side but still good nonetheless

I always come here for my oil change and every time I am taken care of here. Being a woman I always felt like I would get ripped off at other places but not here. I highly recommend to anyone in the area looking for maintenance. I also appreciate the charging cables available while I wait. read more

Called this place, dude answered immediately told me pricing and I brought my car in. No wait , he got to work on my Acura Cl 2001 and I enjoyed his beverage choices in the waiting room, although he was watching Steve Harvey the talk show, I was able to enjoy things on my phone. $30 oil change , in and out , pretty good, like this Vietnamese Coffee he had available Hard to find because it is off the street , you actually pull in past an auto sale office. Just look for the signs on the building read more

I'm SO soooo glad Vu still does smog & tune ups!! When I moved away for college, I always dreaded taking my car in for smog checks.. usually a simple smog check would cost me new brakes, new tires, an oil change. New oil filter, new this and new that, etc etc. Some ppl/places like to take advantage of what I don't know. But not Vu! I came back to him and sure enough, he walked me through everything. And even explained to me when my oil is low or bad. And when to do my next oil change. Smog check was super fast and efficient as well. I highly recommend taking your vehicles here for any smog, tune ups and mechanical questions you have. I will definitely be coming back. read more

i would give 10 stars to vu and his staff!!!! they are the best!!! if you go anywhere else, you are a fool, like i was. pep boys quoted me $2,500 for motor mounts and two front arms on my 2011 toyota avalon, and vu and his staff did it for $1,300 and my 2008 toyota corolla s ,had a check engine light on and i had taken it to another technician, who charged me $400 and didn't fix the problem, then he told me it's a main sensor and that was going to cost me another $800, that also wouldn't have fixed the problem, i found that out when i took it to vu and his staff. they found and fixed the check engine light problem!!! thank you so much i am now a customer for life!!! read more

As a girl and first time car owner checking your car can be difficult. I stopped by to check if I can get an oil and water level check and VU checked my car ! Was very nice and made me feel comfortable when it comes to checking your car! He explained everything very throughly and also let me know what the next steps into having a reliable car were! 10/10 recommend made me feel welcomed! Not like other car shops that make you feel like your dumb lol read more

Great customer service. Smog was done in the estimated time given. I will come back whenever a smog is required.

Hi Yelpers! I've only given 2 other 5 stars in my reviews. I don't really give it unless the place goes above and beyond of what they do. Having said that the reason for 5 stars is the service was awesome and price is better than other places that I got quotes from. And they went above and beyond their services of just being generous and trustworthy. I drove by this place when my car needed an oil change and then I liked the work so much I scheduled a tune up at 100k miles. I met the mechanic, Vu, and he was awesome. Very nice dude and helpful with hints to take care of my car. I scheduled my tune up with him. Tune ups take a long time I guess so he lent me his car for the rest of the day. His price was way better than any quote I got from other places by at least $100. For sure I will bring my Acura to do the tune up here when it is needed. Also I highly recommend this place to anyone that needs a good trustworthy mechanic. Thanks Vu! read more

Very happy that I found this place! I was referred here by a few friends that take their cars here so when I started having issues with my car I brought it over and was extremely satisfied with the service! He asked me if he could hold onto the car for a few days to fix it but then had fixed it the very next day! Everything works great and I felt he was super honest and fair with the prices. I will be bringing my car here anytime I have issues from now on. read more

Vu is one of the best mechanics you can find. It isn't every day you find someone who does a great job and is trustworthy. He does work quick and he stands by his craft. He is one of the few mechanics I have met in my life that a woman can go to and be respected as much as any man. Vu always finds the best prices for the parts he uses, and I feel like I can call him a friend. Many shops talk about treating their customers like family, but Vu just does it. Talk is cheap, and Smog and Tune Technicians is platinum. read more
