As a AAA member for over 20+ years I called them to have one brought and installed on site at my home. The company AAA sent out screwed things up really bad (Please see my review for Hope towing in San Bernardino to find out how I found Ryan.) I was desperate to get my car up and running that I just started calling random mobile mechanics I found on Yelp. Luckily the only one to call back was Ryan. I explained to him what happened and he came out that same evening, after attending a previous client. He assessed the car and gave me an honest answer. I paid him his assessment fee and figured I'd call AAA back to make things right and 5 days later and no solution and I'm still without a working vehicle. I text Ryan once again and tell him how AAA was giving me the runaround and how my car was still not fixed. He advised me on a few solutions and I decided to just purchase a battery elsewhere and have Ryan install it. This way once installed if any other issues arose Ryan would be able to give me a real-time solution and pricing. Not only did he install the battery. He went above and beyond with small details that not everyone would do. He checked the voltage and gauges. He told me the car was up and running with no major issues. He did discover a water pump leak and gave me an estimate then and there. He didn't try and price gouge me or lie and say I needed a new alternator. five star review - These guys are excellent…read more i trust them. let me try to offer some justifications for my review. Knowledge - these guys exude knowledge. The owner told me that he worked for a dealership for nearly 2 decades and received lots of specialized training in that time. He explained a suspension issue to be in a way that gave me lots of confidence in his knowledge. he was basically sharing the physics of the suspension system, and demonstrated the lesson to me in a way that I understand. Scientific - I came to them requesting a service that was recommended by a different mechanic. Rather than just completing the service that I requested, they investigated my problem from a clean lake. They basically ruled out, the other mechanics, suggestion, and used my observations of the problem to investigate the problem in the systematic fashion. The process looked to me to be scientific, which also gave me a lot of confidence in them. Effectiveness - they corrected the problem that I was experiencing. They saved me a fortune. Even if the other mechanics opinion was correct, and I would have had to pay these guys a fortune, I would still give them a five star rating because the quality work they do is top notch. They're smart guys. Don't judge a book by its cover. If you are used to taking your car into the corporate auto body shop like Firestone or Pep Boys, just be open minded. They actually have a lot of space to work with, they have two lifts, and all the tools necessary to do the work that they do. to a northern New England guy, it's pretty cool taking my car to a back alley mechanic shop in San Bernardino County, getting my car worked on with cumbia, and Corridos echoing through the alley.
