The owners are both genuinely friendly and likeable. Today we took a day trip, planned to stop in Hayward for a Bomb Dog treat, found out their food truck was in Cable this weekend for Fall Fest, so we re-routed our trip to enjoy a gyro and an Italian beef. I had the Italian sausage with Mariana sauce, peppers, onions and cheese. Very tasty but messy. There are two picnic tables and when you go up to order they give you a buzzer that goes off when your order is ready to pick up. Best to be eating these sandwiches at a table vs your car. The homemade yum-yum sauce was really rich and flavorful and paired well with shrimp. The heat rating on the sauces seemed to be a bit off as I ordered the spiciest and it was not spicy at all but the kung pao chicken which was supposed to be two levels down was way spicier. Overall I would recommend eating here since it is a viable option from all the "pub" and "supper club" spots which permeate the Northwoods.

Feel free to insert "fusion" into the name if you must, because it sounds cool and nobody really knows exactly what it means. The food itself is generally fine, but there ain't nothing Mongolian about it. If you're looking for mutton, you won't find nuttin'. But, dear reader, you may be saying, "What about the Mongolian beef?" To that, I can only reply, "What about it?" The truth is Mongolian beef has nothing to do with Mongolia. It was introduced in Taiwan in the 1950s and has become a common dish in Chinese-ish restaurants in the US. So, perhaps the best way to calibrate one's expectations is to replace the "Mongolian" reference with "Chinese," and think of it as a Chinese restaurant. Feel free to make of "fusion" what you will... From that perspective, it is easier to make sense of a menu that includes all of the Chinese standards; egg rolls, spring rolls, wontons, potstickers, etc. We had the cream cheese wontons as an appetizer, but they were disappointing. The bowls we had were good. The tofu was excellent! The service was also good. If you're hoping to scratch an itch for Chinese-ish food, Mo's will not disappoint. If, however, you are looking for Mongolian food, perhaps General Tso can tell you where to find it.

The location is convenient, directly off of the freeway in rural Northern Wisconsin. The menu offers sandwiches, a salad, and platters that don't disclose just how little meat is included (assuming they were 1/4lb servings). I opted for the pulled pork, which unfortunately lacked any flavor besides apple cider vinegar. I had to not only drench it in BBQ, but for the first time ever I had to salt the meat. My coworkers left hungry when their platters included only 2 slices of brisket. Points for creativity on their sides. I love the variety of options, but none met my expectations in the slightest. Overall, the whole meal lacked flavor, seasoning, and they should work on their portions/prices. Spending over $20 on a platter here is a waste.
