I was able to get it in that day. The problem was compound and difficult to pinpoint and address but the shop didn't give up and solved the issue. They gave me a huge discount in the end because it took them a while and my van is my income. They were so cooperative and helpful I will drive to this shop from anywhere in the country for every issue I have. In my business, I can't wait a week or more to get into a shop bay. And I can't have mechanics charge me for their own mistakes. These guys went the extra mile to make sure I was taken care of.

First time the tire was not balanced propey and I had to have it done somewhere else after they said i had left so how did they know I didn't hit something... It had been less than a day before I called them back. Similar issue this second time prompting this poor review. Got a tire that looked almost brand new, the methed out fella slapped it on, I paid and left but it was wobbly and didn't feel right. Got it at the end of the business day so I called the next day and what do ya think I was asked... well did ya hit something? So anyway I took it to the mechanics down the street in Troy for an in related issue and had them look at it... the tire was junk. As far as tires this place is a freaking joke, don't have much to say for the customer service either but Only from one person and I honestly don't know which guy it was. Go there for a car, a car part maybe.. but definitely not a used tire

Cons: Drove my car off the lot and made it to 66 by the water treatment center and had to take it back. The auto locks started unlocking and locking themselves, the lights off and on, rpms jumping like crazy, auto lock system on and off it was a nightmare. They had the mechanic look at it and nothing. They sent it to the Chevy dealership and nothing. Nothing was found. The issue was still there. So, I took my car to my personal mechanic and had to have the starter block system they put in rewired because there technician didn't wire it in correctly. Also had to have the auto lock system rewired because there "mechanic" ended up putting the starter block system in wrong and fried the auto lock system. No chance of reimbursement since it wasn't "there guy." In all honesty there guy's not touching my car again if I can help it. Ok so that was just the first month of having it. Alright the "manager" Nikki is one of the rudest people I have ever met in my life. She was aggressive and argumentative. She wouldn't listen and she would cut me off and start yelling. This was my first car. My first car dealership and honestly I'd rather walk than deal with them ever again. Oh and don't bother calling around or after 2:30 on Saturday to make your payment they shut the system down and won't take any payments. If you ask them why not they say we don't get paid for over time.. there card system takes 3 minutes to shut down..

Bought a car from Irvin Auto Sales less than a month ago. After being in business for over 50…read moreyears in my area, I figured they would be a great choice in a used car. Car came with warranty and was told it was totally checked out and inspected before going on their lot. 3 days after buying the vehicle it developed a very loud "clunking popping" sound from the front end when going over a bump. Had the car checked out and all of the ball joints, sway bar linkages, and control arms were shot. Warranty says it's 100% covered. Took the car to the suggested mechanic that does warranty claims for them. They would only fix my car under warranty, if the ball joints or sway arms were physically broken and the car could not be driven. SO, their warranty is useless! $500 later, the car still sits in the shop.. Cannot be driven because of major front end suspension problems, warranty nor dealer will take care of a thing, and nobody knows what's wrong. I have not even been able to enjoy the car since a few days after purchase. There is NO POSSIBLE WAY this car could have ever passed an inspection before it went on the dealer lot. So, all in all.. we were lied too... and now after paying premium price for this car with a warranty, looks like the bill and problems are on us. No peace of mind and the warranty that comes with these vehicles suck! NEVER will I do business with Irvin Auto Sales again!!! BUYER BEWARE!

Popped over and they looked at it in essentially no time and repaired them both. I only knew of one of them, but they figured out what was wrong with two of them. It was quick repair with very little turnaround. I'm so glad to have a small town dealer that I can really trust. They take very good care of me. They take good care of me Long after I bought the cars.

We have never had a bad experience with them. The only reason we go back is to trade into something newer. The father owned the business back then, but the sons worked there as well. They now own and operate the business. Their father taught them well. We have looked at vehicles at other dealers but always come back to Independent because of their honesty, integrity, and prices. He wrote up a purchase agreement which my husband signed. Elijah told us we could not put a down payment on the vehicle because it was not yet inspected but don't worry I'll hold it for you. We heard him make the call and request that it be transferred to him as the salesman. We asked him if we should put earnest money down on it to hold it. He said no you can't do that until after a vehicle has been inspected. He said there's one vehicle ahead of it to be inspected so it should be inspected tomorrow (Tuesday). Elijah assured us he would call us and keep us in the loop for when the inspection is completed so we can come in and close the deal. He even wrote up a purchase agreement with us. Tuesday morning 8/4/26, I received a text (photo uploaded) response to our Monday online inquiry about that suburban listing saying the vehicle is available and asking if I would like to schedule a time to come in to look at the suburban. I texted back immediately and said we have already looked at it and have a purchase agreement signed on that vehicle. We were told we had to wait for the inspection before we could complete the deal. I also told them I don't think anybody should be looking at it as we have a purchase agreement or arranged for that vehicle with Elijah Kline. Elijah called my husband Tuesday and told him he thought it would be inspected that afternoon and he would call us back once the inspection was completed and left the impression that we could finish the sale Tuesday evening. We waited and waited for a call which never came. We finally called and he said the vehicle had not been inspected and hoped it would go in Wednesday morning. He amended that saying that he would see to it that it was inspected Wednesday morning. Wednesday 8/5/26, no call all day. So, my husband called in at 4pm to see what what's going on with this suburban. At 4:11 PM, The sales manager called my husband back. He explained to the manager what was going on and that it seemed like it was taking an exceedingly long amount of time to get an inspection done on a what's going on with this suburban. At 4:11 PM, The sales manager called my husband back. My husband explained to the manager what was going on and that it seemed like it was taking an exceedingly long amount of time to get an inspection done on a vehicle that had a purchase agreement on it. The manager said he would check into it. He asked for my husband's phone number, but never called him back after that. So my husband called the dealership again this time speaking with Elijah Kline at 5:08pm. Elijah said that the vehicle still had not been inspected, but if we would like to put a hold on it we could do that. (even though he told us Monday, we couldn't do that before an inspection was done). He said it would be $500 to put a hold on it and he would get the information to someone who would call my husband back within 15 to 20 minutes to secure that hold on the suburban. An hour and a half later still no call. So at 6:40 PM, my husband called back in yet again because no one had called us. A man said that Elijah was still with a customer, but he would get him a message and make sure he called my husband before he left for the day. About 10 minutes later, the same man who was going to leave Elijah a message to call my husband before he leaves for the day called us back. This man told my husband, "I have some bad news. That suburban you had a purchase agree signed on has just been sold. However, I have a 2019 Buick Enclave for around the same price that I could sell you." We called in enough times about this vehicle that there is nobody in that dealership that could've possibly not known we were pursuing a purchase AND had a purchase agreement on this very vehicle. It appears that it was an internal sale to someone inside the dealership who decided they wanted the vehicle and didn't want to sell it to a customer. This is NOT a dealership that stands by its word or paperwork and lacks even a modicum of ethical integrity!!!! This business is UNPROFESSIONAL and UNTRUSTWORTHY!!!
