After checking the response was probably another 1/2 hour but there was no promises in the mean time they let 2 other cars go in front of me. They didn't give any consideration to my time as they are the ones who set the appointment. I was also quoted an out the door price and that was not going to be honored as well. Several other people waiting seemed to be agitated as well. Glad they can lose $1700. Good luck in the future.

They left 1 lug nut off to which I discovered while on vacation but It couldn't be fixed because I didn't have the special key! When I got my new tires the walls looked scuffed and they said it was because they set around the shop and it was normal. My tires only lasted 2 years and they wouldnt replace because I turned down the roadside assistance. I thought it meant if I had a problem on the road with my tires they would tow or fix the tire if something happened while on the road, and of course they did not explain this to me and now TD wont replace the tire. No matter I had the roadside or NOT my tires should last longer than 2 years! They used to have quality service and warranties but Not anymore, so beware!

I was told that the extra was charged because it was not added up right. The mistake might have been legit, but bad business bringing it up after work was done. Customers should know of mistakes when they are noticed, when first seen, not sprung on them after completion of the job. I have been there before, with no problems. After this, I will take service elsewhere. If I was confronted about a mistake before work started, No problem. NOT AFTER THE WORK IS DONE!

Honesty. This is the thing that worries me most about needing mechanical work done on my car and…read moretaking it someplace new. It would be so easy for a mechanic to fix something that doesn't need fixed and add hundreds to the bill. I know it's happened To me before, and I know it happens to way too many people out there. I've been to Webster's twice. Both times I was pleasantly surprised with just how honest this place is. I decided after my last experience, I owed the shop a review....so here goes. Last weekend, My car was overheating, and I couldn't figure out why. Long story. Old car. Anyhow, I had it towed to Webster's with a request for an estimate and crossed my fingers. The owner Jerry called a few hours later and told me my car had two plastic elbows that needed replaced. He also suggested swapping out the belt, but it wasn't a must. Total bill with labor, $275. Could have thrown in a water pump. Could have suggested a hose or two. Could have told me my radiator was shot. Could have added an extra hour to the labor or 20% to the parts. Could have told me a lot of different things were wrong and easily made that bill creep over $350. Heck, $500 would haven't been hard to hit. He didn't. My car needed some new elbows and a belt, and that's what I got. That's the other part of this story. Webster is a local private auto center owned and operated by a seasoned and very knowledgeable mechanic. It's not a bunch of 20 yr olds working at a chain with marked-up low-end parts in matching corporate uniforms. This guy knows his stuff. His shop isn't shiny. His shop doesn't have glass walls, tires stacked all over, and a TV strapped to the wall. It's not on a prime downtown corner across from a coffee shop chain. It's the kind of shop I used to go to with my dad when I was a kid. It's the kind of shop I hope to find anytime I move to a new town. So here's my two cents. Copy the name, phone number and address in your contact list. Save it as "auto mechanic" When you need your car fixed (and we all eventually do), you'll have it handy. You'll be happy you did. Honesty and knowledge. An extremely rare combination that's a pleasure to share when found. If you go in, tell Jerry the guy in the old red Pontiac says hello.

My father in-law sold his 2005 HHR to a person in Troy. After 5 months Jerry told her she needed…read morenew tires. The tires on the car was a mismatched set, different manufactures and wear patterns. My father in-law would never of had installed tires like that. The only way that those tires were on the car would be if Jerry put them on when the car was in on a previous visit. Jerry installed new tires. When the car was brought in 8 months and 18000 miles later Jerry said that the tires were bald and needed to be replaced. The only way these tires could be bald would be if he switched out the new tires for bald tires on a previous visit. When asked about warranty replacements he said the bald tires would have to be sent in and a decision would take 6 weeks. Jerry is the lowest of the low preying on the poor. Never ever go to Webster Auto Repair.

had twice were they messed up on work on my car. both time they argued that it was other thing that…read morecaused it and was not there fault. first was simple they were to replace the head light when they got done the head light was way out of alignment. took it back to get it adjusted they say that the whole light assembly was bad and needed to take it to a body shop since the whole assembly was bad and needed replaced. took it to another shop they said the bulb was only half put in the seated it fully was fine. this time took in for oil change left there shop car started clattering and stopped. called them they told me that this car had a lot of defective engines and it was not there problem. took it to dealer for them to look at it they said the oil filter was half on, the drain plug was about to fall out and there was only 1 quart of oil in the engine.

I was so happy with this shop, the customer service was great and they got my brothers car fixed quicker then they quoted. The price was cheaper then what other shops had quoted me over the phone. Overall I was impressed by their Shops work and overall customer service. I would highly recommend to anyone who needs their vehicle fixed. Shops here in California are usually overly priced, I felt this shop tired to help me out as much as they could.
