I have been getting all my prescriptions here for the last 17 years. They are friendly and family owned. They have always done a good job with filling my prescriptions and provide counselling as needed in a professional and user friendly manner. The main negative as there is often delay in getting my prescriptions filled. They are a small operation and they tend to get backlogged at times. There is sometimes a wait for them to get a new prescription filled. There have also been some glitches with insurance, but they always try to get it worked out. The store itself is quaint with a nice array of decorative and gift items as well as the usual over the counter drugs and medical supplies, cosmetics, toys, and school and office supplies. It is a great little store and the staff are always friendly and helpful.

When they mess up your prescriptions (and they will), it's a (bare minimum) half an hour wait to talk to someone on the phone- and usually is over 45 minutes. The lines in the store to pick up prescriptions are down the aisles (multiple) and the drive through is just as bad. Plan on an hour for a pick up. I have a prescription that was sent 7 days ago that shows as in process STILL. I ran out 5 days ago. That is the norm for this pharmacy. AVOID this place at all costs. They are the absolute worst. I just transferred my prescriptions to another pharmacy 20 miles further away so I can actually call, ask questions, and get my prescriptions on time. I just want a functional pharmacy. Walgreens lost my business, period. They've had plenty of time to fix that store but do nothing but let their customers suffer.

Her customer service was pure excellence, and she was efficient and quick. We observed her with the customer ahead of us, who was elderly, and she was very accommodating to him. It didn't stop there, as she was very friendly with us as well. The aisles were pretty clear and even the restroom was clean. It is very rare to find all these qualities at once. Village Pharmacy is the opposite. They answered the phone promptly, processed me in-person quickly, answered my questions patiently, were friendly and knowledgeable. They accurately estimated the time to fill the scripts, and I got an automated text once the scripts were ready. They do compounding as well - they are a real pharmacy, not a chain of pill counters. I will definitely go here for all my prescriptions in Incline Village going forward.

Makes a half hearted apology about "helping an associate" (I thought customers came first). When told what we wanted to look for, he sarcastically said "It was right there in front of you". Went up to pay and put my registered number in there. I was not able to get to my email with the coupon so I thought they would have that there when I put in my number. He said it wasn't and that it had to load to a card or something like that. Which is new to me because up until recently that had never been an issue. In fact associates always seemed to automatically know without being shown anything. Regardless, he had no right to be so rude. Totally unacceptable in my book. Wish I could give a zero.
