You go, they give you a hand saw and a cart and you go out into their fields looking for the perfect tree. They have many different kinds of trees of all shapes and sizes. The older gentleman we talked to was super nice. Once you pick your tree, they will perform and shake service then net it all up for you. They also have beautiful wreaths for sale- they even threw a door hanger in for free. The farm is beautiful and they people are really friendly. They even let us bring our dog (as long as we promised to bring baggies and clean up after her which is more than reasonable). There are chickens roaming around and a friendly bunch of dogs on the grounds. Really great Christmas activity- we will be returning next year!

In addition they offer various wreaths, ornaments, as well as many other holiday gift options! Don't worry there are plenty of photo ops for the family, kids, and or pets as you can see from some of my own family photos! Although the field was closed for cut your own, they had plenty of precut trees. We found one easily. A young guy helped us with the tree, wrote up our sale, marked it, and handed it over to be baled (and extra $2.) We also picked a beautiful wreath from the many they have on display. Inside is a shop with many little items and the area they are making the wreaths. Everyone is helpful and friendly. And they take credit cards! Most tree farms are cash or check only. The ride to Charlie Browns Christmas Tree Farm in East Hampton was beautiful and when you get to your destination you can't help but feel you are somewhere special. The farmhouse where they sell ornaments and wreathes looks like a small Santa's workshop and there are other attractive small outbuildings that serve various purposes. Christmas music plays from speakers in the trees and staff in red vests are abundant and quick to offer help. Consider dropping a tip into the "Elves College Fund" tins on the trees near checkout. There are five different types of trees to choose from spread over multiple fields that are very walkable and it is obvious Charlie Brown prunes their trees so they look both natural and beautiful. Small, large and extra tall trees are available and prices are reasonable. Deb's Cafe makes a very festive hot chocolate as well as offering food and snacks which were getting great reviews. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and came home with a wonderful tree. We will definitely be back next year.

This place is incredible, they have every pumpkin under the sun here! They have tiny pumpkins, white pumpkins, misshaped pumpkins, massive pumpkins, so many unique pumpkins that are great for any type of arrangement you may want to make! They also have mums, local honey, and some other fruits and vegetables. I think some of the things are a bit overpriced. Scott's Farm Store is worthy of stopping by and checking out their large assortment of very unique pumpkins.

( My hubby is very picky) But if I did step in poop, I would realize it's the dog owners responsibility to pick poop up and not Hartikas families fault. I'm amazed at how people act nowadays. They only have one tree baler and one line to purchase trees so the wait time to do each can get up to 45min+ for each line, which really takes away from the experience and value for what you pay for.
