I wish it had happened earlier since I spent hundreds of dollars on electricians and a lot of time trying to figure out what was going on in back and forths (1 year +)..with the manufacturer. Lesson learned that the best path is to get to the owner of the business. Once we were in communication he took care of everything right away. Totally not their fault that a single fan they carried happen to be a faulty one. I really appreciated the follow through from this business owner.

After that, I had to keep pushing to get the opening properly protected. In our text messages, it appeared Alex was reluctant to come back, and when he finally did, I was charged **$225** for a very short visit (roughly minutes) to re-secure tarp/weatherproofing. In my opinion, that charge felt inflated for the limited work, but at that point my priority was protecting my property from rain, not arguing. My concern was never whether they *eventually* answered calls, it was that I had to repeatedly chase updates and basic documentation and I received inconsistent explanations about permit status along the way. Also, photos showing a "clean" stucco cut do not address the actual customer-impact issues: the opening being left exposed for almost 2 weeks, interior drywall/dust impact, lack of a clear walkthrough, and cleanup left behind. My review is not about whether the lights came back on (they did). It's about the unnecessary stress, poor communication, and how a paying customer was treated throughout the process.

At Re{x), there are three super talented people who work there (one of them being the owner) who know a lot about fancy furniture. They've been doing this for more than 50 years combined! They're also on Instagram, where they share awesome pictures of each item (however come into the store where you can see the complete inventory...its a warehouse space and its HUGE!) Hallie matched it up in about 5 minutes, and text me back the model number and another picture that matched. At no charge, Hallie is sending me not only the cold cartridge but the hot cartridge's as well, for my plumber to install. These cartridge's if I had to purchase are $80.00 each.
