I was looking to establish a new relationship with a new hydro store in the desert area as I just recently relocated here. Chemistry and trust is very important to me. When I arrive at Grow Generation I felt like I was being rush, I was asking questions they were answering them but they would push me to the side and help other customers or would not give me the full information on my questions. I travel in traffic and the heat to their store, I had to kill one hour before they open. I did all of this so that they can push me to the side. They were not even busy and had extra help. I know a racist vibe when I'm in one. I quickly changed my mind on spending my hard earn money with them. I had called the day before for a certain product and was given a set price. The guy who help me was trying to play me told me a higher price and then he said that he gave me a big discount when in actuality I was quoted that price in the first place. I did not wanted to get into any type of argument so I just bullshitted him pay for my stuff and left. I'm tired of the desert area the vast majority of people are racist and it's not just only to me. This place has good products and they will help you if you get the right employee or you have the right color. Cheapest Hydro in Riverside is worth the drive for me. They are way more helpful and truly care about helping new growers. It's amazing you never realize or appreciate your hydro store until you have that bad experience. I hope that they can spend more time with their customers, be more truthful and not push their customers to the side to help others. I spend a lot of time and effort to travel to their store and to get brush off like that was rude to me. I'm still irritated with them I really wanted to learn to grow all organic but they did not have to time to explain it to me nor did they wanted to tell me the brand name. They lost $1,000 in sales today by literally pushing me to the side. In business you have to treat your customer with respect no matter their skin color. It was all bad for me today.
