The bacon was nice and crispy but the was the only good part. The pasta was way over cooked and it didn't have much Of a queso taste. I love spicy food and they promoted that the jalapeños were their "own recipe" and I didn't taste anything significantly better about them. I love spiced peaches and pickled vegetables, but I had never heard of pickled peaches before, so of course I had to buy them! The store is clean and well-organized, including the restroom, which is always a nice bonus when you're stopping in while traveling. The cashier was super friendly and overheard us talking about their sign for the annual open house, which takes place the Friday and Saturday after Labor Day. She told us they'll have lots of sale items and free samples and recommended going on Friday when it's less crowded. I love a good local tip! If you enjoy unique jarred goodies, sweets, and Southern treats, this is definitely a place worth checking out!

Shelves were lined with things your grandma would go nuts over. Jams and jellies, bags of grits, all sorts of things for the cook who knows how to cook with real ingredients. Also a solid selection of prepared/ready to eat items including some pies that looked pretty amazing. Additionally there's a sandwich counter where you can build your own or order one from their menu. All the sandwiches are made to order on their house-made bread and the prices are super low. If I lived near this place that sandwich counter would quickly become a go-to lunch spot. The people were friendly and the place is clean. The prices are right and the selection of items is unique and of high quality. Don't skip this place if you're in the area. 5 stars.

The green beans were probably the best thing on the plate. The steak was also subpar. It was more of a NY strip and very thin. My friend got it medium rare but it came rare-RARE. We did have to ask that it be sent back to cook a little more because it was uncooked even on the sides. The potato wedges were not cooked thoroughly either. It was raw potato and just not tasty when you are looking for a good and cooked crunch. Staff were friendly, but service was slow because it was busy. I don't think I would try this place again.

I like my cookies a little bit softer, especially in the center. Still, they were fine cookies. The orange roll was solid -- the soft and yeasty roll was the best part -- though for me the orange glaze was a little too sweet. That's how I usually feel about orange rolls though so if you really love them you'll probably like this one! The muffin remained remarkably moist and the pecans were so nice and toasty on top.
