I couldn't be more pleased. I think I've been in there 5 times this year, getting work done I put off for years. Two of those times were cleanings... something I previously dreaded but now was so comfortable and happy with the process I actually went back after 6 months (like they recommend - go figure)! No bleeding gums. No pain. These are nice, highly competent people that you actually like to see - in addition to doing a terrific job. They really go out of their way to explain and put context around everything they're doing while you're there, and also the options because you always have choices about what you have done & when. SO refreshing. In addition to the great dentistry the office is run very well. They have the latest technology so they can show you everything that is going on. They're great with insurance and the appointment process is smooth with text reminders and confirmations. Highly recommend - 6 stars out of 5!

I have been going here for so long I can't even remember when I started. But I believe it's been 12 or 13 years. My whole family goes here and I've also referred friends. The front desk staff is friendly and accommodating. They make you feel welcome from your first step in the door. The Hygienists and Assistants are helpful and wonderful as well Dr. Freeman and Dr. Fox are caring, down to earth and professional. Dr. Freeman helped me with my TMJ tooth pain which is what first bought me to the office all those years ago. Both of them deal with TMJ issues as well as anything else that may be causing you issues. They do everything here and they will definitely make you feel comfortable and at ease. Sadly I've never taken any pictures of the office so I might have to update this soon. If you are looking for a reliable, reputable and caring dental office this is your place!

Dear Dr. Fox, thank you for responding my complaint in time. Also thank you for your professional dental service which I really appreciate. But please be notified that my original complaint is towards your billing department work. When you keep mentioning $14 in your reply, I know you are still confused about why I gave a one-star review.There are few things I want to clarify here: 1. There's no copay for preventive dental service with my insurance. Please refer to my dental insurance benefit page I uploaded in my review. The reason why I got an unpaid balance is because your office charges exceed the reasonable and customary amount not because I have a copay. It appears that you and your office still have a misunderstanding on my insurance coverage and that's where my complaint comes from. Let me ask.. When was the last time your doctor/dentist ever called you back, let alone when was the last time they voluntarily called you to make sure you were alright? *insert sound of crickets here* Right!? About two weeks ago my mouth was hurting so bad of and on that it was interfering with two of my favorites pastimes - talking, and eating! All kidding aside, I was pretty damn miserable and decided that enough was enough. Since I did not yet have a dentist on this side of the world, it was time to whip out my phone and do some Yelping. I did not have to search for too long, and decided to give Robison Dental a call. I spoke with Mia on the phone whom was attentive and patient, listening to my woes and helping me schedule an emergency appointment. I have never been one to fear a visit to the dentist. Matter of fact, I loved going to my dentist and adored the guy for the positive feedback I'd receive at each visit. I have never experienced dental problems, dental pain, or pain at this level in general. So at this point I was getting a little scared, to tell you the truth. I figured whatever was going on in my tooth, surely could not be positive if it made me want to yank it out and be done with it alltogether. Whatever treatment was lying ahead could not possibly be worry- and painfree. Walking into the clinic I was impressed by the small details in the waiting area. Comfortable sofas and chairs took place instead of ugly, uncomfortable seating often found in other places. Beautiful books filled the tables, instead of weekly tabloids. I noticed a mini fridge which did not only have V8 and bottled water in it, but also served my favorite San Pellegrino water. I'm not gonna lie, this added a little checkmark in the 'positive' section on my mental scorecard (because I am lame like that, and I clearly have my priorities 'straight'). I brought my uber critical and hygiene minded husband along for emotional support; and he mentioned how nice and clean this office was when it came time to move to the back. Paula was waiting for me, pillow in hand (me likey!). She helped me out with some x-rays that needed to be taken, and stayed throughout the procedure which was to follow. She made me feel very calm and at ease throughout the 2 hours that I ended up spending in her presence. Dr JD was extremely nice and pleasant to talk to. He explained everything very well, and somehow managed to bring the news that I needed a rootcanal without me bursting out in tears or massive shakes. I did regress back to 5 year old me, going back to the inquisitive 'how' and 'but why' state. Dr JD whipped out his little tooth schematic, and had me trusting in him very quickly. I actually kinda felt like "OK - let's do this"! At the beginning and throughout the procedure he did everything possible to make sure that I was comfortable, taking his time numbing half my face to ensure there would be no discomfort whatsoever. You could have thrown a baseball anywhere on the right side of my face, and I bet I would not have known the difference. This whole numbing business was new for me, as where I am from cavities are filled without gas or shots. My husband calls this barbaric, I just like to call him a wusspuss. Either way, I was very apprehensive and concerned about both gas and the numbing shots, but Dr JD and Paula once again made me feel at complete ease. In case you were wondering, Robison Dental Group has a bunch of different payment options available. Whatever your situation may be, it is clear that this office puts their patients' needs first. Mad props to Dr JD for dealing with my neurotic questions, making me feel comfortable and at ease during my visit - and of course for fixing my chopper(s)! Also plenty of kudos to Paula, she is a sweetheart and super pleasant to spend a few hours of unflattering 'agony' with. Also a quick shout-out to whomever picked the amazing playlist consisting of John Mayer-esque tunes..thanks! For some years I put up with some bad ones, but just yesterday I went to Jeffery Escote and i am actually excited about finding him. He was great! Didn't talk down to me like many do when talking about the care of teeth. Rather than a dental hygienist talking care of the whole cleaning and exam and the dentist popping in for a minute at the end Dr Escote was with me almost the entire time. They also got me started right on time which was nice. An added bonus was the TV playing in the room, which was a great distraction from the work being done. Dr Escote is also just a very nice person. He really put me at ease and explained the issues I had very well. I definitely recommend him.

I had to make another visit and pay couple more hundred bucks to do root canal. Now after about a year, the crown they put on was off. I just came back from a different dental officer, the dentist told me the tooth is completely infected and needs to be pulled out. I am so pissed off by my visit to Northville Family Dental. From the time I arrived at my appointment until I left was 30 minutes. She does great work, no pain. She is my new dentist - BDF.
