We exchanged a few texts (sent him a picture- and he again - confirmed the price). We set a date for the removal and said he'd reach out the day before. I then dismissed the other vendors and was happy to support a smaller business. All good so far, right? 8 days later (today) 3 days before the work is to be done, he reaches out and increases the price $200 stating the stairs cost more. I informed him he literally said "8-9 stairs: $450 is the price" but he stood by his new +$200 quote. Very deceptive business practices. Bait and switch. Left scrambling to find a new company to come out... right before the 4th of July weekend. Avoid Avoid Avoid.

He walked me through what was available in the stackable series they carry, and he found one I might like. His kindness and patience were commendable. I was a mess and would have hung up on me. What I should have done, if I were in better shape, was secure my measurements for the space. Well, here we go--the new washer/dryer was very tall, like the controls are built for a basketball player. Not good if you need a chair to dry the Bean Jeans.
