He contacted me immediately after my post on yelp and was at my house 24 hrs later. He gave me a very fair flat rate on removing a good amount of stumps and by the yard for soil/mulch. On top of that, I got stuck in the mud with my skid steer and Mike volunteered to give me a tow without me asking him. Lastly, I had two different dumpsters for this job and Mike was able to pick up the first one right when I had it loaded up, allowing me to maximize the time I had with the skid. I found these guys on Home Advisor and they came in with a competitive quote for a hot tub removal…read more The quote (in writing on the home advisor email exchange- attached) factored in stairs and came in at $450. We exchanged a few texts (sent him a picture- and he again - confirmed the price). We set a date for the removal and said he'd reach out the day before. I then dismissed the other vendors and was happy to support a smaller business. All good so far, right? 8 days later (today) 3 days before the work is to be done, he reaches out and increases the price $200 stating the stairs cost more. I informed him he literally said "8-9 stairs: $450 is the price" but he stood by his new +$200 quote. Very deceptive business practices. Bait and switch. I spoke to the worker who was receiving the throw items over the porch and wanted to make sure that everything that had broken open would be cleaned up. He assured it would be. However this was not the case and myself and my husband spent over an hour cleaning up a mess that we did not create. This was completely unprofessional and a total disrepect of our property. I would never use them and would hope that others would read this review and think twice before hiring them.
