We had been a long-standing customer since 2020. They repaired our HVAC several times over the past years. Recently, our air conditioning stopped working and we contacted them. The technician informed us we needed a new unit. We would have happily had B&T install the unit, except for the attitude of the owner when questioned about the invoice for the service call. They charged us for the following: Service Call $99.44 + Labor Rates $89.44 + Gas/Trip/Admin $17.41 - All to tell us we cannot repair the air conditioner and would need a new unit starting at $14,016.05. The owner argued with me for 30+ minutes on the phone and refused to refund the service call even if I purchased a new unit from them. In the meantime, I contacted Boer Brothers who sent a technician to check our air conditioning unit. We were told we needed to replace our existing unit and were not charged for the service call whether or not they replaced the unit. This review is strictly directed toward the owner of B & T HVAC and his extremely poor treatment of a long standing customer. I suppose if you do not question any of their nickel and dime charges, you may have a better experience than we had.

Very strange vibe to the place with tension pretty apparent between owners or managers with one of the managers or owners talking under his breath about one of the other people (waitress or other owner) to no one in particular, but loud enough people could hear him - using some descriptive language as to what he thought of them. Service was fine when approaching us and at the ordering counter, actually fairly pleasant. This place used to be a cool little quirky cafe, but our time recently was not worth the mood we left with. Everyone has had a bad day or days, especially in this service industry economy, but insulting other workers/owners/managers in front of customers is uncalled for.
