She brought me to Caffe Driade where we grabbed coffee (ice latte with almond milk for me) and then made our way down to trails where we enjoyed our coffee walking in this amazing wooded area. It was a hot June day, but between the shade and it being morning it wasn't too bad. There's also some tables up top by the cafe, but I personally prefer the walk/hike. The coffee was fine, but the hiking/atmosphere was amazing. If i make it back to the Triangle area I'll be here every morning!

The metal small chairs are not comfortable so we weren't here as long as we would've liked to have been. I tried something completely new out of my comfort zone, a golden milk latte. This was absolutely delicious and I would get this again. I was able to add honey as my sweetener and really enjoyed this different cup of coffee.

There are no real food offerings, other than free popcorn from the mobile popper, so dogs are welcomed. The far side of the space is dedicated to a bar with six stools. Behind it through huge windows is the brewing area. It was a fun place, and I learned a lot about honey, bees, and tried some new flavors. Come by! I really love Ponysaurus beer, their pilsner is nice but their kolsch is my favorite. If you've been to the Raleigh location, the Durham menus is not the same. Yes they have pizza but it doesn't seem to have the same options - still good though. We went with a hankering for the hummus we got at the Raleigh location, again the Durham location had hummus but a different variation. One thing that's consistent with both locations is the amount of pita that came with the hummus, there is nothing worse than getting a huge bowl of hummus and only a few pieces of hummus or chips. Both locations knocked it out of the park. Plenty of WARM pita for everyone. This location is somewhat self-service, the bartender obviously poured out beer and there is a cute window for picking up snacks but no table service.
