Very great company to work with. I messaged a few junk removal companies through Yelp and Tao (the…read moreowner) was one of the first to respond, saying he has done similar projects previously (moving an old wood fireplace). Coordinating the time was very simple as he was always quick to respond, we agreed on a time, and he showed up at the very beginning of the agreed upon time window. In person he was very friendly, and while my project required a few additional steps (the fireplace being taken to a specific recycling facility, and paperwork proving its recycled status), Tao was more than willing to accommodate these unique requirements. Pricing-wise, they were very reasonable and came in less than I was expecting.

Upon arrival they moved my junk items out quickly, and for a small additional fee they helped me bring down a few personal items. That was a lifesaver because I had no one to help me with the last bit of moving boxes and those stairs are killer. Literally tripped once and almost left this earth. That extra help saved me time and sanity. Thank you for doing such great work!

Only one item was damaged due to a small mishap, but that happens with moving and they worked hard. We were quoted for 7 hours and were done in 4. I used this company a hand full of times in the past. There weren't any issues then. But this time…read morearound there were so many issues and concerns. First off there were several HIDDEN FEES! It was only brought to my attention when I started questioning them at the time of service. And the two older men that were there to provide the service felt as though they were making up excuses for the misinformation just to charge me more! For an example, when asked why the online quote was completely different. They responded that the online site has not been "Updated." I was unable to carry a king size bed and water heater tank on my own to the dump station. So I had no choice at the time and just paid them $420.00 to dump those two items alone. They wanted an extra $1,000 for the remainder of junk that would have filled up half of the truck. The online estimated it would have cost $400 for the load. I wouldn't recommend this company simply because they're deceitful and they don't care to have a better rapport with returning customers. Instead contact "Got Junk!" They removed everything that was quoted from College Hunks for $1,400 on site! Got Junk did it for $620 total!!! They were also thoughtful enough to advise me to remove roofing materials on my own to save me from a heavy load fee. College hunks you need to really learn from "1-800 Got Junk" hunks.

Scheduling was a breeze, they fit me in quickly, they were prompt, pricing was good, and they're just really, really nice folks. Plus, I underestimated the amount of space in the truck my junk would take up, but they knew how to load items so as to use every square inch of space and stick to the quote. That's service. I will definitely use them again.
