Doctor C & his assistant Jessica were so patient with my daughter. She is very afraid of the dentist and doesn't sit super well but they kept being patient and were so sweet to her. Not only that, but a previous dentist told us she needed a root canal--when we got to Doctor C he said he isn't sure she needed one. He ended up just giving her a filling. Just clear your whole morning, because I was there for nearly three hours. It was my first appointment and I filled out paperwork for a few minutes but mind you they already had my insurance info prior. An hour passes, another customer comes in and she's seen in five minutes and I hear her get her entire appointment while I wait one more hour. I asked if I can at least get my xray's done for my teeth and the lady says sure, seats me in the x-ray room, 30 minutes pass of just sitting. I told the lady I have class at MJC and she said she'd let the doctor know and THEN she sent an assistant in to do my xrays. I heard her tell the doctor I was waiting and he still continued with the second lady. The doctor comes and I'm already late for class, he says every first appointment takes this long, he really didn't care at all. Very indifferent with me compared to his other patient with large a** veneers. Whatever I left and now my teeth still effing hurt and I'm just going to look elsewhere. read more

This was my third dentist just to get a tooth pulled ,my initial appointment :they took pictures. Everybody was very friendly. The doctor was very knowledgeable. Kept telling me he wanted to pull XYZ tooth and get implants and then after that sent me to his Finacial person who ran a credit check on me, which my credit isn't that great. Anyways, I have Medi-Cal dental, which they accept 2nd appointment , I went back. He filled two cavities. They said they call me that was in August here we are in December. I called back because I really need this one tooth pulled and they were my third dentist asking to pull this tooth. They gave me a full runaround told me that they had to do a bone graft which my insurance won't cover just pull the tooth even though I don't want an implant. ,however, my insurance covers partials, but they won't Order a partial for that tooth so they referred me to another dentist. I called that dentist they referred me to and they said they needed their referral sent over ,so I called them back and they gave me the runaround again , say that don't do referrals? so basically.... I'm the dentist was wonderful and I'm sure if you have money to spend. This is the place to go. I don't have $20,000 for five implants, all I wanted is one tooth pulled so once again I'm shopping for a fourth dentist just to get this tooth pulled before it abscess. Had implants done here that cost me a fortune, 2 of the 4 implants have fell out , complained since day one they hurt, constantly told it was this and that , said screw it and just lived with it, not counting the 3 sets of teeth that kept breaking, been told by the surgeon they sent me to that it wasn't a very good fit, but kept with them , now have a problem with a lower tooth from the denture being crooked and grinding on one of the lower teeth, had a appointment cause in pain and they call and want to change another week , even though I already took the day off per their schedule, all i can say was they were my best friend when getting thousands of dollars out of me and now im a piece of shit to them , thats fine , lawyer it is, studs that fell out are on my table , anyone that goes here good luck , they are hustlers and scammers, i had to hang up on whoever the rude person was that told me oh well , if im in pain then find a new spot , great business attitude right there , good luck people read more

I decided to go here to get everything fixed when I did Dr. P was the best that I have ever been to. If you are a new patient or are continually having chargeable procedures you will be treated very well, I had a full extraction and denture implants put in, within the first year3 of my bottom implants had to be removed, they said it was due to smoking, I agree it didn't help but no bone graphs were ever put in, I had been told by previous dentists that I would need bone graphs if I wanted any kind of work done like this, I asked the dentist if any bone graphs were put in,he said he didn't know and never spoke of it again. My first set of teeth were very set back, didn't look like me at all, they made another set, looked better for the first year, but they started setting back as well. It has been a constant struggle getting a appointment to have the bands replaced when they wear out, I tried making a appointment for for 3 months last summer with no return phone calls, finally got a appointment in December to have it canceled due to being out of bands until the middle of January, went in, the Dr replaced the metal cap that is in the denture that the band goes in, now 2 weeks later the cap has came out of the denture and is stuck on the stud implant, I called and they couldn't see me until next week, no regards of how hard it is to eat when you only have 1 stud holding the bottom plate down and now it doesn't want to stay in, it only takes 15 minutes to fix. I have had it with this place, I will be finding a new dentist ( more money out of pocket) but it will be worth not having to be constantly ignored by this office. read more

By far the worst dental office I have yet to experience. I scheduled an appointment for a general check-up and cleaning one month in advance. The office staff kept calling me every week leading up to the appointment claiming that my insurance was not received. I called my insurance, and they indeed did send over the paperwork and had recommended this office in particular since it was closest to me. On the day of the appointment, they treated me and afterward dared to bill me out of pocket. Over $2,000 for a checkup, X-rays, and cleaning!! You have to be kidding me. I called the office, and they made some pitty excuse that their system was down!! Please do not waste your time with these incompetent thieves!! read more

Be vigilant and be careful, they will scam you. Went in for some work that I had already paid for and told them that's all I wanted done and they agreed. then maybe like 2 or 3 weeks after those procedures had been done they charged me for like almost $5,000. I also had crowns and permanents put in and the next day after I got the procedure done the permanent fell off. It's been months and I now have an uncovered tooth that's sensitive but I don't trust them to come in and get it fixed. read more

Have never been a big fan of the dentist, maybe it's because of experiences that I have had in the past. Smile World is pretty close to my home and after taking a look at their Yelp page, I thought that I would give them a shot. I was extremely pleased with my first visit to Smile world. The entire staff was very warm and welcoming and made me feel well very comfortable. I had to have a root canal performed and I couldn't feel a thing (very important) Needless to say, I am back for my second visit and I am actually pretty excited to get the work done, I never thought I would say that about a dentist visit. They gave me the run-around for a month. For three weeks, they told me that my insurance had not approved removing my wisdom teeth, when in fact it had. Then, after I called them for the umpteenth time about the issue, SmileWorld told that the office had in fact received the confirmation, but no longer took my insurance. They did not call me about policy changes. They did not inform me any of the other times I called to find out what was going on with my surgery. They gave me the run-around. I do not recommend this office for anyone who wants an office that actually does its job. read more

Since it's close to holidays I called everywhere in Stockton and couldn't get seen today at all. However, I contacted Smile World Dental in Salida and they were able to squeeze me in. Thank goodness because I have a very bad toothache which needed to be seen right away. I went in and the staffs were very friendly. Their bathroom was very clean and they even have a waiting area with toys to keep the kids busy. All the staffs including the dentist were very polite, friendly, and welcoming. Their service was beyond exceptional! It was so worth the drive from Stockton to Salida. read more

Avoid this place at all costs liars and thieves had to go here in a pinch because my dentist wasn't available They said I needed two root canals and five cavities but needed oral surgery before they could do their work .tried to charge me $4000k for their work before it could be done so that they could suck all of my insurance first before I went to the oral surgeon . Went to my doctor the next day had two cavities and one root canal and referred me to an oral as it turns out I did not need oral surgery and for all the work that he needed to do was only $780 including my insurance again thieves and liars read more

We have been patients with them since , we moved from Elk grove maybe a year ago.Every time we go back they don't have records of some of the procedures they done in the past.... That makes me think they don't document all the things they do...They took my Husband to an office and told him my insurance didn't cover removing both of his wisdom tooth and he needed to applied for Care credit . They did talked to him about risk and consequences, charged about $5,000.00 for the work. They never said his teeth will separate with time . Now his teeth are separating and I am afraid it's because of the work they did . They changed technicians very often..you can tell with no much experience in the field. I went in about two days ago and waited 20 minutes after my cleaning for the doctor to come in and explain my x rays. They told me to come in in two days to get my results read to me. I brought my whole family here, ages varying from 3 to 29. The staff was very friendly. The office is clean and there is a play are for the kids with big windows so the kids can watch the cars go by. They also offer refreshments in the lobby while you wait. I especially liked the hygienist, she was very knowledgeable and gave thorough demonstrations on how to care for your teeth at home. When I arrived for my cleaning, they did not have my appointment on file. A week prior to that I had called and been told a date and time which I wrote down then and there. They also didn't have me in their system at all, which was not a great start. They asked me multiple times what I wanted done today and I said a cleaning since I was overdue. What ended up happening was I was told everything I would need done cosmetically (i have a long history of dental issues and am well aware there is work to be done but I really wanted my cleaning done at this time). The doctor seemed very knowledgeable and the techs were nice, but they took at least 30 x rays, a CT, and told me I need to throw down 15,000 dollars in oral surgery. I don't know a single person who has that kind of money to blow, but they acted like it was unusual that I didn't. Moral of the story: I was there for 2.5 hours, they did not clean my teeth so I need to find another dentist, and I left in tears. If they had listened to me and just cleaned my teeth and recommended these surgeries I wouldn't be so disappointed. But I didn't get the one thing I wanted done with that appointment. read more

I came here to get a root canal done as well as a crown. Honestly, this is the best dentist I have ever been to in my whole life, and I have been to plenty of dentists. My cousin recommended that I come here because she said this place is great and I'm glad I did. The office is very clean and well kept. The staff all are so friendly and extremely caring, and they gave me a nice deal on the procedure because I was paying in cash. I rarely ever felt pain while getting my root canal/crown and I was so happy because the last thing we want is to be in pain. They also offer you free coffee, water and snacks when you enter.
