I don't have any problems with this dentist. The reviews on here are strange. This is a good dentist place and I would recommend them. But they don't do any work if you have Medi-Cal.. They refer out which is a pain. But I like the way they clean my teeth. And have had no issues with cleanings for myself. They are somewhat rough. But idk. I've gone there for years. Worst dentist I've ever been to!! Read the reviews they are true! This dentist office is a total scam!! I went for a teeth cleaning. They did X-rays told me I needed a bunch of work done. Then they said I needed a deep cleaning and even though I had medical I was going to have to pay more money for supplies. Like a couple hundred dollars. I've never heard of that before. The dentist came in was rough with my teeth looked at them for a couple minutes and was going to leave. I asked him about my teeth cleaning and he said ok I'll put some polish on your teeth. Put some pink gunk on my teeth and left. I found out from medical that he charged them for a regular cleaning which I never received. I asked for them to send my X-rays to a different dentist and he wanted to charge me for that. I hated this dentist did not feel comfortable. Had regular teeth cleanings before and what he did was not that he literally was in the room with me for a couple minutes and all he did again was put some polish on my teeth no floss, nothing. And I talked to other dentist and they said since you have Medi-Cal there shouldn't have been no extra cost for a teeth cleaning. Office is very small and claustrophobic. read more

This office is charging clients for services that are covered by Medi-Cal. They wanted me to cash pay for composite fillings telling me that Medi-Cal only covers metal fillings. I was diagnosed with two cavities. I went to another reputable dentist and discovered I have no cavities. My son was diagnosed with 15 cavities. Another dentist could only find 12. This office wanted to charge my brother $2800 cash for a partial which we found out Medi-Cal will cover. So this dental office might be double billing both Medi-Cal and the patient and charging for unnecessary fillings. read more

I do not recommend this place!!! Bad customer service!!Believe the other reviews. I came back in for quote on a tooth I wanted repaired vs. doing a veneer. They recommended I come back in for the Dr. to look at again. First off they had me wait 45 in the room before he came in. He said didn't recommend the repair but quoted me almost $300 to do it. I told him no since he didn't sound confident it would hold and it was too much for something that wouldn't work. He very rudely says ok fine goodbye and walks out before I even get out of the chair. So rude! And why because I didn't go ahead with the work when he said it wouldn't work??? This Doctor is so rude and impersonal. Not polite at all! I'm going to start my review off by stating that I am afraid of going to dentists. Having said that I had a pretty significant issue with one of my molars that had a sizable chip which was causing a good deal of pain and needed extensive work done. I went in having anxiety about the diagnosis and procedure that would be required. Thankfully the doctor and his staff were very patient and kind. They thoroughly walked me through what would be needed and all the steps involved for the root canal and crown. During the procedure they were very attentive and calmed me down through the entire thing, which means a ton to me considering how nervous I was! Since then I've had 3 more procedures done and I'm really grateful to have been taken care of so well by the doctor and his staff. I am also very happy and pleased with the work done. For anyone who whether you're afraid of dentists or getting work done I highly suggest giving this establishment a visit. You'll be in good, thorough and caring hands. read more

I would give zero stars if I could. I would definitely look elsewhere if you have to have an extraction or any type of procedure at that. Apparently the dentist cannot afford nitrous or doesn't care enough about his patients to offer it! He would rather drug u out on Valium (strange) rather than to properly sedate with gas. This is place is joke!!!! They literally do not care about anything but money. I called for an emergency extraction. They said that it was covered by my insurance so they got me it. They say they're gonna do a full exam too so I say ok. I'm disgusted by how they treated me. First off my appointment was at 1:30 and they made me wait till 3. Then the Dr strolls in and clumsily starts poking at my teeth. And I ask him are we gonna do an extraction. Then he says " We'll I'm gonna take a look and I'll tell you a plan for what we can do. So he tells me I need 4 teeth pulled and I'm thinking ok yea that's what I called for. He says you're insurance does cover the extractions however I only do extractions with a bone graft and it doesn't cover you're graft and it's gonna be $400 a tooth. He knew my insurance wouldn't cover the graft and knew he would not do the extraction with out a graft so why did they say yes and schedule me. Well the answer is easy. To still get paid from the insurance. They will still charge them for me visit. Meanwhile I'm still in pain, out the day of work and now super upset. So a recap. Took the day off work so no pay, they scheduled me and lied to me, ignored me then still charged the insurance. Still in pain with an abscess cause I already don't get paid enough. This is such a poor practice. It feels like extortion and insurance fraud all wrapped up in one. Nobody should ever have to go through what I did there today. read more

This place only wants money from you. I had my teeth pulled for dentures and implants. I had so many bone spires and dentures that where 1/8 off from center, looked fake and so bulky. Bottoms broke the first month. My dentures didn't fit at all and they wanted to charge me $450.00 for soft liners so they would fit better. I found that I could go to CVS and get soft. Liners for dentures for only six bucks and fitted them myself. Fortunately I had to get a new dentures made and seven thousand dollars later, I'm happy with my dentures and implants. So don't be fooled like me, do your homework and find a better dentist. Glass building. read more

He got offended as soon as we didn't want to pay extra out of pocket for something insurance didn't cover. Then when my husband made a joke so he kicked us out telling us to go somewhere else. Doctor Ayyubi is very unprofessional. We saw him a while back and that visit went fine. I contacted the office to make an appointment a year later. The appointment was made, and he contacted a family member of ours to tell them that he didn't want to see us. First of all that is violating HIPAA Law, and secondly he had no right to contact them in regards to our medical matter. He didn't have the courage to contact us directly. I will be filing a law suit against him for this matter because he violated our privacy and shared our information with another family member that we have not given consent to. I am very disappointed in the way this was all handled. I will NOT be returning to this establishment. He is a very unprofessional individual. read more

Not having a regular dentist for quite some time, it was a pure pleasure coming here. Dr. Ayubbi and his staff are very friendly and professional. My exam was thorough and my teeth cleaning went extremely well--removing a good build-up of plaque!! Dr. Ayyubi made my teeth look better than ever! So im a dental assistant whos going for his RDA, and was in desperate need of a cleaning (JUST A CLEANING) so i can take a coronal polish class that required me to be Calculus-free, but anywhere i called, i was considered a new patient so i need xrays which i didnt want to take b/c im getting those done in another class on March 1st and blah blah blah. Lol I googled dentists like crazy until i gave up on the no xray thing and came across Accord dental. THEY ARE AWESOME!! I told Maggie, the pretty receptionist, my frustration and she was so mellow and cool that it calmed me down some how haha anyway, after filling out paperwork, Theresa the RDA, took me back and took Xrays, which were easy b/c she knew how to place the mouthpiece in correctly! Lol! She was cool to talk with, and made me feel comfy. Dr. Maulik Shah was such a cool dentist! He is incredibly gentle and listened to what i told him and gave me his input as well. He wasnt pushy, wasnt trying to sell me the fillings i need also! What i most liked about him is that he treats his staff with respect (from what i saw). Ive worked with dentists and i can tell you that alot of them are snobby, rich, Dbags that just want your money....Not Dr.Shah!! Make an appointment and see for youself how awesome this office is. This was my first time going to accord dental and the two dental assistants are the sweetest! Rachel is so down to earth and friendly. She kept me company while I was waiting for my services and I enjoyed every minute of it. Unfortunately I didn't get the other lady's name but she was very nice and had recommendations for almost everything I asked about, very knowledgeable. As for Dr. Ayyubi, he was friendly and explained everything that needed to be done, what options I had and provided the services I needed in a timely manner. Wouldn't recommend! Made an appt a month ago as a new patient cause that was the earliest they could see me. Went In today and was told they will no longer accept my insurance and claimed to have called and left a message to cancel and then after I said I hadn't received a voicemail they said the voicemail box wasn't set up. I've had the same phone and service for almost 3 years so it is set up. Would have been nice to know beings my wisdom teeth are coming in and need to be seen asap. read more

Dr. Shah is one of a kind. Not only is he highly competent, knowledgeable and extremely professional, he is sooo personable! When I visit he follows up on conversations we had during the previous visit that relate to personal issues, like family. He works with you for payment plans that are reasonable for both parties. Hi there I would like to say that I highly recommend this dental office! My whole emidiate family is a patient here. The facility is squeaky clean, the front dest clerk and X-ray tech were friendly and very welcoming. Dr Shah and his assistants were so gentle and thorough with my teeth work, they were also very informative, and HONEST. He always makes me feel at ease while he does his work and never hesitates to stop to ask me if I'm feeling okay. I have to say that I am most impressed by their exceptional customer service and sincere honest advice. At no time did i feel like Dr Shah or any one of his staff members was trying to push unneeded dental work on me or any one of my family members. Dr Shah was also very kind and gentle with both of my children. I was extremely thankful that he took his time and was extra careful with my 3 year old son on his first dental work.
