Today I went in for a broken crown that was covering an implant I had done 10 years ago. Unfortunately the crown broke and he was able to offer me a great consultation and referral to the best Implant Dentist in the county to have the post removed so he can make a new crown with his great in house technology. By doing this it saves extra cost and time having an outside service do the crown that can often take many weeks. I would recommend Dr Joe Nguyen to anyone looking for professional honest Dentist!! Unfortunately, since Dr. Raymond Wright took over my care, my experience has changed dramatically. My biggest concern is his lack of communication and bedside manner. During multiple visits regarding ongoing pain in a tooth, I felt dismissed, interrupted, and unheard. Rather than listening to my concerns and working collaboratively to identify the cause of the pain, I was repeatedly told, "There's nothing else I can do." At one point, he even blamed me for not bringing up a concern that I had, in fact, already tried to explain. The issue began after he replaced some resin on the side of a tooth to address sensitivity. The pain continued, and my bite felt noticeably off afterward. When I returned for a cleaning and to discuss the ongoing discomfort, he seemed uninterested in investigating the issue. He suggested the bite problem was caused by grinding or clenching, despite no history of those issues and no evidence of wear on my other teeth. He then stated that I would need additional imaging or a referral to a periodontist, only to once again conclude that there was nothing else he could do. What was most frustrating was the inconsistency. After repeatedly saying there were no options, he later suggested replacing a partial filling on the very tooth that was causing the problem. If that was a possible solution, why wasn't it part of the conversation from the beginning? Adding to my disappointment, my routine cleaning was performed by Dr. Wright rather than the hygienist and lasted only a few minutes. My teeth honestly did not feel cleaned, polished, or cared for in the way I have come to expect from this office over the years. The front office staff and hygienists have always been kind and professional, which makes this review difficult to write. However, after multiple appointments where I felt dismissed rather than cared for, I have decided to seek dental care elsewhere. My advice to prospective patients is simple: be prepared to strongly advocate for yourself. Ask questions, push for explanations, and make sure your concerns are fully heard. Unfortunately, that was not my experience.

Jaime, the dental assistant, is super nice and very responsive. Joanna is the best hygienist I've ever had--gentle, detailed, and thorough. I had a pretty poor experience with this practice. It's a long story, but there was an issue with a…read morenumbing process for a filling in November that left me swollen for 3 weeks. Dr. Patel then prescribed me antibiotics for it over the phone (without being seen!) thinking it was an infected tooth, when it was actually a very poor numbing job...I even took them completely unnecessarily! She had also done fillings on several teeth that ended up falling out soon after and had to be refilled (see pic). I am in A lot of pain from the REDONE fillings by Dr. Lyles and went to look at my teeth and there is a bruised, swollen and bloody area along my gums... To sum my issues with this practice: -I had injury to my mouth from 5 failed numbing injections which was wrongly prescribed antibiotics for which I took unnecessarily! -I had a crown that was not done 100% properly and still have a lot of pain in, that they eventually ended up replacing with a lot of headache and fight - but not without a lot of poor attitude about it (even during the procedure) and a very stressful experience on me. -I have an injury to my gums (see pic) from a re-done filling - it is bruised, extremely painful and bloody. -I had a night guard that was wrongly sized and never fit me that they would not replace I do believe Dr. Lyles attempted to make it right, which I appreciate, but it was the really poor attitude, constant back and forth about getting things fixed, and then this painful filling that led me to write this review.
