I don't come super consistently, but whenever I do, I always book with Jordyn. She's amazing at what she does. I just had a session with her and it was honestly painless -- I'm not even joking. Over the years she's gotten faster and faster, so I'm in and out quickly, which I really appreciate. She always makes sure you're happy with the results before you leave. The only downside is they don't open on Saturday and Sunday so plan accordingly. I got a chemical peel which cost around $200. The procedure took about 30 minutes or less. Pain is 0.5 out of 10, not so much pain but more chemical irritation to eyes. You will get a fan to blow air which helps. You see results in about a week. My results were softer, smoother skin and smaller pores. Acne scarring texture issues were not fixed. For the IPL for cheeks only, cost is around $75. It takes about 15 minutes. It feels like zap of electricity current on your face, not so much pain but discomfort level 1/10. I only did one treatment and didn't see much results for this as my rosacea is still there. Suppose I need a second treatment to get better results. Plenty of parking and you can bring your dog! Love how this office is dog friendly! Kudos to refresh rx!

She took the time to understand exactly what I wanted, discussed different brow shapes with me, explained the difference between powder brows and wild brows, and gave me very clear aftercare instructions. I never felt rushed or pressured into anything. During the procedure, she was extremely gentle, professional, and meticulous. She created each hair stroke so carefully and checked in with me throughout the entire process to make sure I was comfortable and happy with the shape. She was also very open to my feedback and made adjustments whenever needed. My two follow-up sessions for adjustment and touch-up were just as detailed and careful. What I appreciate most about Anny is her aesthetic sense. She really understands what looks flattering and natural on East Asian women. The shape she created for me is modern, elegant, natural, and timeless--not overly dramatic or "done," but simply like a better, more polished version of my own brows. I absolutely love their Carmel Mountain location, but I hate their Point Loma location. I've never had issues at Carmel Mountain, but I constantly have issues in Point Loma. I've repeatedly had issues with their website, allowing you to book on days that they are not open and their website hours on Google saying they're open even when they're not. I've contacted them multiple times about this, but the issue has never been resolved. I'll be honest this was one of the only places I have ever trusted to do my eyebrows and I had a great experience a handful of times I've been to Carmel Mountain. But they really need to get new management for the point Loma location. I know it is new, but that is not an excuse for how it is currently running. I've also heard other reviews from friends of mine saying that they will show up on time for their appointment and the staff is not there and has been up to 30 minutes late for their appointment. I hope to continue to be a customer because I do love the Carmel Valley location, but I really hope they can step it up in point Loma. Overall, I have a bad taste in my mouth from the poor experiences in PL.
