My dental care was good, but they changed my insurance for services I had already paid. It happened twice.

I called to change my appointment to an earlier time due to a conflict with my schedule and spoke with Shika who was very accommodating and rebooked my appointment at a time that worked best for me. My office visit today included teeth cleaning and polishing and I was very pleased with Donnette services. She took her time and made me feel comfortable throughout the entire process. She also made recommendations to help me keep my teeth healthy. Afterwards, I spoke with Yolanda who was also very accommodating and assisted me with checking out and making my next scheduled appointment. Overall, Dr. Diane Stephens and her staff are very professional and welcoming. The office is very clean and you can even watch Netflix movies while you're having your dental work completed. I would definitely recommend this office for all your Dental services.

I frequented this establishment just yesterday (December 15, 2021) and was pretty much scared into…read moreconsidering a treatment that I had never heard of or knew nothing about by Dr. Dillon. I asked questions to the dentist (who was very straightforward, but when doing her exam, she sounded unsure of her answers) and the hygienist (who was lovely, professional, and answered all my questions, which is why I'm giving two stars) and to the receptionist (who had came up with my treatment plan cost). The receptionist was stern in saying that the insurance would cover for half and I could make a monthly plan but something did not sit right with me. When it came to billing questions, the receptionist acted like I was bothering her and kept mentioning "I've done this before, I know what I'm talking about" but little else was done to appease my worries of out of pocket expense. As a patient and someone who works in healthcare for a few years now, I was completely put off by that. I came in for routine preventive care and left without any cleaning work done, even though I was told I had "extensive gum disease" by them but not by another dentist I had gone to a year prior. I opted out of the service and scheduled another appointment to come in for the treatment. After I left the establishment, I spoke with my insurance who assured me that the work would not be covered. Then, I called the receptionist again to speak with her about the information I had, where she continued to cut me off and belittle the information I received from my insurance. I cancelled the appointment right there and then. I will be requesting my X-rays and will go to another doctor in 6 months time (of course, after doing a thorough search of the reviews). The two good things that came out of this whole experience was that I have adequate health literacy and therefore felt comfortable advocating for myself with them and the insurance company, and that they scared me straight by the cost of not taking care of my oral health. I have since bought the recommended toothpaste, mouthwash, and floss recommended by my previous dentist -- and I'm sticking with a plan.

She would play around in my mouth and somehow I have extra charge after extra charge AND still have to go to another dentist for them to complete the work. Worst experience of my life.

The office is above Haven restaurant and has plenty of free parking in the back lot. An elevator takes you right to the front entrance on the second floor. All of the employees are super friendly. I had two separate visits. My first visit was for X-rays and a dental cleaning. My second visit was for a filling to be replaced. Dr. Menendez and the dental technician were awesome. They clearly explained what was covered by my Cigna insurance and what work would be done. I'm extremely happy with the cleaning and my new filling. I don't have any sensitivity to hot or cold beverages and the filling blends well with my teeth. I highly recommend this dental office!

So disappointed and now very angry. We trusted Restoration Dental with our family's dental care for…read moreyears. They kept telling us that our children needed a special toothpaste to remineralize their teeth to avoid cavities, but every 6 months they needed multiple fillings, sometimes multiple sides on a tooth. One child had so many fillings (10-12 teeth) that I finally called to check which teeth had gotten done before. Some teeth had been done more than once, but they told me they were different spots on the same tooth. My youngest was leaving for college last year and yet again they told us he had 3 teeth with cavities, but they could "squeeze" him in right then. That way he could be done before he left for college. We took care of them. Those three teeth were $1042. Fast forward, he returns from college, goes for his cleaning and now he has 3 more teeth with cavities at an estimated cost o $975. He was home for summer, so they scheduled him for a while later. Luckily for us, we moved and found another dentist near our new home. We forwarded his records to the new dentist and scheduled an appointmemt to take care of the 3 teeth that had multiple cavities. My son went to the appointment and came home in less than 30 minutes. The dentist looked at his X-rays, took new ones and said they did not see any cavities! In fact they looked at the cavities that had been filled PREVIOUSLY on the X-rays and said they would not have filled most of them. They showed him and me what to look for on an X-ray, so we could see for ourselves. Going to Restoration Dental cost us thousands of dollars in unnecessary fillings. Nevermind the trauma that my children had to endure with getting shots and further tooth damage for the unnecessary drilling that was done to "clean out" nonexisting cavities. Now my children have the good fortune of looking forwards to possibly having these unnecessary fillings weaken their teeth over time and potentially cause broken teeth, more painful procedures and bigger bills as they get older. I have attached a copy of the last estimate for my son (look how many more teeth they were "watching"). LET ME REPEAT THAT THE NEW DENTIST DID NOT SEE ONE ISSUE THAT WAS ON THE ESTIMATE, AND LOOKED AT HIS PREVIOUSLY FILLED CAVITIES AND SAID THEY WOULD NOT HAVE FILLED MOST OF THEM. If you choose to go to this dentist, don't trust what they say, have them prove it to you. Btw, I noticed there is another review complaining of the same thing. This practice should refund my money and pay me for damaging my children's teeth. I am trying to see where I can legally report them.
