I had paperwork to fill out. I the office provided complimentary drinks in the lobby. After my paperwork work was completed I was able to go to the back to get a full scan of my mouth. It was in 3D with color. I was a bit skeptical because of my experience at sage dental but they said not to worry. After going over some of my goals for my smile I felt so relaxed. The dentist understood everything and answered all of my questions. After that I got to relax and watch my show on Netflix because they had TVs mounted on the ceiling while you get your cleaning done. Now the cleaning was such a peaceful moment. She cleaned my teeth with so much care. There were three flavors of toothpaste for the cleaning. I got to try the cinnamon and one other. I really enjoyed the cinnamon but decided to stick with the other that I cannot recall. I even got walked out and was gifted a tumbler too. I absolutely love my new dental office.

From start to finish, I was in there under an hour! Dr.Williams and his assistant did not waste a second while I was laying there. I had no pain aside from the needle to numb me and the recovery is painful, as it is for anyone. I was very pleased with my experience today.

As soon as I got there, they told me they were running 30-60 minutes behind ... like okay, maybe call the patient beforehand? Do they not realize that people take time off work for appointments like this? At 11:15am I was brought back into my room, then they took x-rays which took about five minutes, and they left me by saying "someome will be with you shortly." Thirty minutes later, someone came by and told me the dentist would be right with me. Another 15 minutes passed, the dentist came by and looked at my x-rays, told me I had several cavities that needed to be filled or (painted?) over and I was recommended invisalign (I had braces before already). I was shocked and asked to see because I've never so much been told I have plaque. I'm no dental expert but I wasn't able to see anything beyond what I've been told is normal. She asked me if I had any questions and I asked if they were going to do fillings today. She told me no, that would be a separate appointment. They told me they'd give me quotes for everything (nearly $3k for fillings - again, I've never had them before so I don't know if this is normal for 2 fillings) and started ushering me out. I asked when they were doing the cleaning and was told that's a separate appointment again, but they could fit me in after lunch if I was willing to wait. I told them I waited enough ... I had been there 3 hours at this point and hadn't even gotten the one thing I booked. I would not go back and I made that clear. Later, they contacted me by texting "hey" and nothing else ... I texted back "who is this?" and they responded "Ideal Dental" and asked to book my next appointment. SO unprofessional.

He has the best chair side manner of any dentist I have ever worked with. He is professional, thorough and very empathetic towards his patients. He stands behind his work even though my bite has damaged some of his bridgework in the past. The office staff is very accommodating especially during emergencies. I have broken a tooth during travel and called the office for advice. They made an appointment for me the next day as soon as I returned from my trip. The office has cutting edge technology for dentistry with digital x-rays and panoramic x-rays. I would recommend Dr. Pacha as the best general dentist in Orlando.

I then kindly asked why is it policy, with all the horror stories we hear i had to ask. The doctor came in after hearing that and explained the why. I will say it felt like a bit to back and forth at first vs him addressing my concerns and some things said were a bit off putting. I won't go in detail because at the end I see we're all just humans who can err in thought.... In the end everything turned out ok which was what mattered most and he allowed me to stay in the room afterall. Also funny at the end he was so suprised and mentioned it was his first kid who has not complained or moved during the procedure due to the pain. Once you set an appointment they message you like everyday in a 10 day period to confirm the appointment. I understand the reason but annoying. When asked both times to have me taken off they had the same excuse of "our system was acting funny" so that's why. Keep in mind those appointments were 6 months apart. We'll see if it's fixed in the future. 2.) When I sat down in the receptionist chair. Lacey Satterfield cleaned my teeth per my invoice/receipt. She said my cleaning today would be $89. I said, nope that's wrong. It's $60 ish without fluoride and $110 with fluoride. I asked the receptionist so we'll have to verify that." She responded super sassy, "okay whatever we won't worry about it." The rest of the appointment you could tell she was irritated. All I could think was ma'am please get your hands out of my mouth with that attitude. Of course I just sat there. She won't be cleaning my teeth again. She's snarky, and has zero soft skills. Or maybe it was a bad day. Either way she won't be cleaning my teeth. The main dr is a good guy that cares. And cool office.
