The location, equipment and convenience is outstanding (right near the Palladium but with their own plentiful parking). There is nothing negative about this place. The front desk staff are very friendly. The hygienist that I had was the nicest hygienist I've ever had. She was so friendly and explained a lot of things to me about dentistry and good dental hygiene that I did not know. Dr. Hiple is also very nice and friendly. He didn't act rushed when he came in to see me and sat and talked with me for several minutes. I had to get some fillings as well and my regular cleaning visit so I have been twice now. The staff was really great and eased my anxiety during my filling appointment as well.

Dr. Larry Pauley originally purchased his practice from a family friend of mine in the early 2000's. Our family friend had been my dentist since birth, and since I value my teeth, I was initially concerned with having a new practitioner. However, I, along with the rest of my family, have been overly impressed with the services offered by Dr. Pauley. Getting an appointment with him is a breeze; the office staff is extraordinarily friendly and organized; his dental assistants and hygienists are dedicated professionals, and the practice seems to incorporate all the latest dental technologies. Dr. Pauley seems to know all of his patients--and he goes out of his way to make sure that they are satisfied with the level of care which they receive. To my knowledge, Carmel Advanced Dentistry accepts most major dental plans. When the cost of services is beyond the scope of insurance coverage (in other words, when the patient has to pay out-of-pocket), the practice does not overcharge. I also know, from personal experience, that Carmel Advanced Dentistry makes every effort to establish a reasonable payment plan with their patients if they are unable to satisfy their entire bill at the point of service. This, of course, is entirely at the discretion of the practice; I'm cannot guarantee that payment plans are permitted in every case. Dr. Pauley is a dentist with a lot of years ahead of him. That's a good thing for people like me; we won't be looking for a new one anytime soon.

My hygienist, Missy, was very friendly and explained everything along the way. Dr. Worthington came in for the final check and she was great as well. She sat down and went over all of my X-rays in detail, explaining what she saw and sharing her recommended next steps. The office is chic and comfortable. Flat screen TVs in each exam room, coffee in the waiting room, on time appointments...it's a great place for dental work. I regretfully have dental anxiety despite Dr. Tiek being wonderful! He has been able to accommodate me with my anxiety and he and his staff are very nice and patient with my anxiety. I have 5 children and although they are definitely willing to help when I have to have kids with me during my appointment, I wouldn't say I necessarily recommend this office for young children's appointments. I have taken my children here, but would recommend a pediatric dentist where there is a children's friendly waiting room and dental staff who routinely work with young children. Overall, I love this dental office and Dr. Tiek is knowledgeable and friendly. I have had a few "emergency" dental issues and he has promptly addressed my issues after hours. I would definitely recommend this office!

I sat in his chair for a procedure, and he told me he could't do the procedure because my teeth need to be cleaned first, and he doesn't have time to do that. He or his staff could've mentioned this when we scheduled the appointment, but they did not. I was disappointed I'd have to make a second trip, but I was easy going about it. "Fair enough. Let's get me scheduled for a cleaning, and then we'll reschedule the procedure no problem." Then, he told me he needs to charge me for the visit when literally all he did was tell me I needed a cleaning. I politely raised the question to the staff as I was checking out. "I'm confused. Is it your policy to charge people when you did no procedure and did no cleaning? I was in the chair for approximately one minute." They explained that it was their policy. I paid the bill and left. A few days later I receive a letter from him in the mail. He asked me not to come back and he called me a liar. I was flabbergasted. I didn't agree with his practice of charging a fee for no work being done, but I was never rude to him or his staff. I will not be going back. You won't have to ask me twice. There are much better options nearby by professional, courteous dentists. Stay away from Walker!

They got me back quickly to do an exam and X-rays. Dr. Olga determined a plan of action for my broken tooth and started the numbing process with some topical numbing agent. Once fairly numb she administered the first novacaine injection. They moved me to the procedure room where Dr. Olga number me some more then so the second shot would not be as painful. Dr. Olga completed all of the necessary work for the root canal and prepped me for a crown. They took the X-rays and made the crown while I waited in the lobby. All of this was completed within 4 hours.
