I've never had a better dental experience. First, this place truly lives up to "modern" standards. The office is clean and filled with state-of-the-art equipment. If you are a new patient, the staff are even willing to give you the tour of the entire office. They even have monitors above your head so you can watch movies or listen to music. All in all, they really care about your comfort. My cleaning and fillings were thorough and painless. Dr. Le was meticulous and never rushed throughout the process. When my husband arrived for his appointment, he was told they could not see him because their records showed he had already been seen in April. This was completely inaccurate. I immediately contacted our insurance company, and they confirmed that my husband had not had any dental visits this year. They even advised the dental office to call them directly to verify this information. After spending far too much time trying to reach the office through a third-party answering service, I finally spoke with someone who was rude, dismissive, and unprofessional. Instead of taking responsibility for the error, she stated that it was not the dental office's fault for failing to thoroughly review my husband's records. She said she would look into the issue, but offered no real solution. I then asked to schedule a Saturday appointment for August 1 while they worked with the insurance company to resolve the mistake. I was told that was not possible. Since then, I have received no callback despite multiple attempts to follow up. I called again on Monday and heard nothing. Today, I called back and was hung up on three separate times. To make matters worse, the third-party answering service informed me that the Centerville location didn't open until 9, keep in mind its 9:30am. The lack of communication, poor customer service, inaccurate recordkeeping, and complete disregard for patients' time is unacceptable. My husband took time away from work which cost him money for an appointment that should never have been mishandled in the first place. This has been one of the most frustrating experiences I have ever had with a dental office. I would absolutely not recommend this location to anyone seeking reliable, professional dental care. My kiddos medical office we are there for 3-4 hours and as many know Parkland that's a 6-7 hour work shift of just persistent waiting. From living in four states over five years, and having a change of insurers in between a few times, it means we've probably seen about 10 different dentists and a multitude of hygienists between my husband and I. Our experience for our first visit at GF Dental was hands-down the best experience we've had so far. The office was organized, well-staffed, clean as a whistle, and everyone was so warm and welcoming. The process to make an appointment was easy and I love that you can fill out all of your forms online. I absolutely hate spending 20 minutes filling out forms and needing to arrive early before my appointment, so this is a huge plus. Their covid-prevention measures were also impressive. They have a system where they retrieve you from your car at your appointment time and then take your temperature, blood pressure, and other vitals upon arrival. They took tons of extra precautions during the appointment to sanitize everything and keep you and their staff safe. My husband joked before we arrived "this is going to be a weird dentist visit since we're wearing masks..." but of course they had all of the bases covered of course, so it was otherwise a "normal" visit to the dentist. Dr. Loehrlein spent her few minutes with each of us actually talking to us in depth about our dental health and also made an effort at small-talk with each of us. I know dentists are super busy when they're making their rounds and it was a full load of patients in the office from what I could tell, so the fact she even made an effort to chat about something other than teeth really speaks volumes about her as a professional and someone who is clearly invested and interested in her patients. Our dental hygienist Lisa was also FABULOUS - she was SO friendly and reassuring throughout the cleaning and pre-exam process. Neither of us are particularly squeamish nor fearful of dental work; however, in this staff's hands, I think even the most dentist-averse patients would feel totally at ease and calm. Furthermore I sent my fiancé there because of my initial teeth cleanings. He ended up getting seven sealants on his teeth due to Dr.Kerbel's recommendation. Now he has more sensitivity to those teeth and he regrets having it done. He was also told by the office that his insurance would cover the treatments and then after he had it done the office then stated it would not be covered and he had to pay out of pocket. I find that inexcusable and I believe if the office makes that kind of error they should pay for it since they misspoke and Jeff was misled. 11/5/17 I have had to block their office from calling me. It seems Connie keeps calling me wanting me to change this review but she is part of the reason for my negative experience in the first place.
