Excellent experience at GF dental - excited to make this our family dentistry going forward. We've…read morevisited a LOT of dentists over the past several years. From living in four states over five years, and having a change of insurers in between a few times, it means we've probably seen about 10 different dentists and a multitude of hygienists between my husband and I. Our experience for our first visit at GF Dental was hands-down the best experience we've had so far. The office was organized, well-staffed, clean as a whistle, and everyone was so warm and welcoming. The process to make an appointment was easy and I love that you can fill out all of your forms online. I absolutely hate spending 20 minutes filling out forms and needing to arrive early before my appointment, so this is a huge plus. Their covid-prevention measures were also impressive. They have a system where they retrieve you from your car at your appointment time and then take your temperature, blood pressure, and other vitals upon arrival. They took tons of extra precautions during the appointment to sanitize everything and keep you and their staff safe. My husband joked before we arrived "this is going to be a weird dentist visit since we're wearing masks..." but of course they had all of the bases covered of course, so it was otherwise a "normal" visit to the dentist. Dr. Loehrlein spent her few minutes with each of us actually talking to us in depth about our dental health and also made an effort at small-talk with each of us. I know dentists are super busy when they're making their rounds and it was a full load of patients in the office from what I could tell, so the fact she even made an effort to chat about something other than teeth really speaks volumes about her as a professional and someone who is clearly invested and interested in her patients. Our dental hygienist Lisa was also FABULOUS - she was SO friendly and reassuring throughout the cleaning and pre-exam process. Neither of us are particularly squeamish nor fearful of dental work; however, in this staff's hands, I think even the most dentist-averse patients would feel totally at ease and calm. As mentioned, this is our latest choice of dentists in our new home in Rowlett, but am glad we made the choice of selecting this practice and looking forward to many good years being patients here.

Terrible experience with a business that seems to be preoccupied with something else (do not ask me…read morewhat)! They need better focus on the matters at hand and since one of their dentists messed up a crown that one of her 'other' dentists allegedly repaired! Dr. BETH WILLIAMSON-the owner attempted to repair the issue, but could not. I'm going to a better reviewed dentist in Rockwall!

I will start this post by saying my daughter loves Dr. Pollock and her team. They treat her with…read morekindness and care as she has extreme anxiety when visiting the dentist. My issue comes in with the business office and their less then stellar practices. We've always paid our estimates at time of service and any additional balances in instances where the estimates may have been slightly off. They continue to state that we have a "family" balance that has to be paid before they will schedule follow up visits. This balance has been reviewed with the business office against the EOB from my insurance in which the EOB does not reflect any patient responsibility. They are trying to balance bill for amounts they should contractually be writing off. This alone has put a bitter take in my mouth and forced me to start looking elsewhere for treatment.

I have nothing but amazing things to say about our experience with Rowlett Dental Associates. I…read morecame in for my regular cleaning, and brought my 22 month old daughter with me. I was nervous how she would handle the process and ultimately was worried she would make a scene. The absolute opposite happened because of how sweet and thoughtful the staff was. Shout outs to Gretchen, Alexis, and Allison for going above and beyond for my girl to make sure she was content and happy while I was having my cleaning. They absolutely didn't have to do what they did, but it made all the difference for me and my daughter. I'm so appreciative and even more excited to bring my daughter in to their office for her first dental appointment ever next week.

The dentists are extremely good, they take their time and pain is NOT an option. I cracked my back molar and they worked me in immediately. I wasn't their patient when I called, just needed an emergency appointment, but I am now! Never going anywhere else. Thank You

Can't say enough about the friendly staff. Very clean and posch waiting area with free drinks. This…read moredentist office is well-managed and well staffed. I appreciated Dr Kerbel's manner and his dental expertise. I've had my teeth cleaned twice here and I'm a very happy dental patient. You will not regret coming to this dental office. You got a love the massage chairs and the TVs in the ceilings. Teeth cleanings were never so relaxing!! Update 6/2017 I went for a third cleaning and Dr.Kerbel had asked me if one of my teeth bothered me because he noticed the filling seem to be loose and at the time I said no it was fine. A month later I did notice when I was eating something but it seemed a little sensitive so I called them back to see if he could fix that filling. The receptionist told me that he would have to do x-rays again even though he had just me seen me a month ago and I had x-rays from a year ago when I first got there. I don't have dental insurance and although I understand Dr.Kerbel wants to be thorough it just seemed like a lot of extensive testing when he's already communicated to me that he felt like the filling was loose. The receptionist made it sound like he felt that since I was complaining about the tooth something much bigger could be going on which I think is a huge leap when I told them I just had a little sensitivity not major pain. So honestly I'm a little skeptical and because I communicated that ; they offered to do additional x-rays for free but I'm going to get a second opinion because I just felt like they want to do more than is necessary and it is quite expensive even though they have a very luxurious office. Furthermore I sent my fiancé there because of my initial teeth cleanings. He ended up getting seven sealants on his teeth due to Dr.Kerbel's recommendation. Now he has more sensitivity to those teeth and he regrets having it done. He was also told by the office that his insurance would cover the treatments and then after he had it done the office then stated it would not be covered and he had to pay out of pocket. I find that inexcusable and I believe if the office makes that kind of error they should pay for it since they misspoke and Jeff was misled. 11/5/17 I have had to block their office from calling me. It seems Connie keeps calling me wanting me to change this review but she is part of the reason for my negative experience in the first place. They really need to stop badgering me and I am definitely not interested in returning for any more treatments. Please stop calling me and understand I do not want to rehash things.
