I was recently in the market for a newer car and decided to start my search here. Before going out…read moreto the multitude of car dealerships in the area I decided to do a quick search online for the type of vehicle I was looking for. I like my SUV, but I want to make sure that they have good gas mileage as well. So after a search I found what I thought I was going to like and Bud's had one that I wanted to test drive. I have never been to Beaverdale before so coming to the area was new to me. When you come upon Bud's it is kind of like BAM, here's our cars, right up on the road and all the way up the hill. It was a bit odd, but not unexpected. The hardest part about this place is that the office is located across the street from the car lot, so going back and forth you need to be careful because this road is the main through way in the area. The day I showed up we had just had a winter storm, so the cars all had a good amount of snow on them. I walked into the office and told them that I wanted to test drive one of the cars on the lot. It took them a minute to locate and clean off the car, while I waited for them to do that, they did a little paper work on their end to pull up my information and what not. Once the car was ready I took it for a test drive and then came back to the office. I'm always nervous when I go car shopping, the worst part is waiting to see if your credit is good enough for the numbers to match. I knew my credit was decent but what was hurting me here was the negative equity I had on my current vehicle. Here is why this place is good, instead of stringing you along and trying to crunch the numbers to work for them to get you into a car they guy that was helping me just spoke the truth. I really appreciated that, and not sure if he knows how much he helped me. He told me because of the amount of negative equity that he would not feel comfortable getting me into a car just for the sake of getting me into a car. Instead he told me that my best option was to purchase a new car because that would be beneficial for me because of my unique situation. Not only did he give me this advice, but he also referred me to a dealership that he knew would help me in this situation. Although I did not go that direct route he gave me, I did take his advice and use it. Who does that? Gives you advice to go to another dealership and lose a sale. A genuine person, that's who. Thank you for your kindness and guiding me to where I needed to be.

We travel to a minimum of six auctions per week to provide a huge variety of choices. You deal directly with the owners of the business. We carry as many or more newer used vehicles than any of the other new or used car dealers in the area. We have a service department that does it all from inspections to engines. So we are here after the sale too, unlike our competitors.

I normally wouldn't do this but its gotten to the point that I feel like other people should know…read more I bought a 2002 ram 3500 from them back in September of 21. The truck was priced very high considering the year, but I'm familiar with these trucks and know the life you can get out of them. I spoke to a salesman, at length, numerous times about the truck since I'm in Buffalo NY and didn't want to waste anyone's time. I was promised the truck was in immaculate condition, had 0 rust, and was the real deal. I asked for many pictures and again verified that the truck did not have any rust/rot. Again told the truck is perfect. I ended up buying it over the phone, and had a company drive down and pick up the truck for me. When it showed up I started looking at it while it was still on the flat bed. I immediately noticed both from cab mounts were nearly completely rotted through. Then noticed the truck was double framed and the inner frame was so rotted in spots that it was swelling the outer frame. This would immediately fail inspection in NY and I'm sure most other states. Got the truck off the truck got in it and realized that the heat was stuck on and couldn't be turned off. The drivers seat was rusted in place and wouldn't adjust. The dump box was covered in rot holes underneath. Every fluid in the truck was either low or bone dry - front and rear differential, transfer case and the transmission. The passed side brake caliper was so rotted the piston inside of it was crumbling. I could go on I will say I initially called and complained and they did give me a small discount on the truck. I have owned the truck for about 6 months and have almost $12,000 into it trying to make it road worthy. The latest was the transmission going- which I was told by numerous mechanics that it failed most likely because it was so low on fluid when I bought it. I did check it when I first got it, and added 5 quarts to it (holds 6) to fill it. Too little too late. I never want to speak poorly about another business but this truck was a painted pig, they knew it, and clearly I learned never buy a car sight unseen, or trust a word a used car dealer tells you Last one. The truck had been freshly painted when I got it. In the last 6 months the paint on the entire truck has been shedding off in sheets leaving bare metal. You can clearly see no primer was used. I did contact them again when I realized how bad the frame was and their response was " were here if you want to talk"

We were given the keys to both vehicles we were interested in and told to take them for a drive to where it pleased us. After driving the second vehicle Justin came out and we discussed the car. Justin was very straightforward with us. The car was newly inspected and the oil changed. We decided to buy the car on the spot. Justin then stayed longer to complete all the paperwork. A few days after purchase the check engine light came on. We called and Justin had us come in to have it looked out. The bad sensor was changed quickly and no charge. I would go back there again for the great sale and service!!

Ater signing all the paperwork they had washed the vehicle and when leaving after the purchase I went to the passenger side of the vehicle and that's when I noticed the bubbling in the paint. I asked the salesman what this and his comment was that it was typical on the Rubicon. Now I feel they knew the rust was there but did a good job of hiding it from me. I just went and got an estimate for the repairs and the cost is $7000.00. I paid $30,000 for a rust bucket. I should have inspected mor thoroughly, but I feel they should have made me aware of this issue from the start.

They were unable to diagnose or repair the issue in-house and subsequently sent the vehicle to the nearest dealership. At the time, I was expected to work near Detroit, which became impossible due to the breakdown. I was provided a loaner vehicle--a Chevy Impala with worn tires during winter conditions--despite the possibility that I could be required to drive several hours on short notice. For several days, I received no updates regarding the status or location of my vehicle. After initiating multiple follow-ups, I was repeatedly told, "I don't know," until I escalated the issue to management. Matt, the manager, was professional and communicative and ultimately confirmed where the vehicle had been sent. I had a safe in the trunk of my vehicle containing valuable items. Unfortunately, I was unable to retrieve them because I was unaware of the vehicle's whereabouts. To avoid further delays, I personally contacted the dealership and received clear information within minutes--something Blue Knob had been unable to provide after multiple days. By that point, the condition of the loaner vehicle required new tires for basic safety during a 5-6 hour drive. Once my vehicle was finally repaired, I was still required to wait for Blue Knob to retrieve it before I could do the same. During my visit to the service center, I overheard staff making disrespectful remarks regarding my request for safe tires on the loaner vehicle, among other comments. I was also informed that I should not have contacted the dealership directly and instead should have waited 3-5 business days for updates through Blue Knob. While Blue Knob presents itself as highly corporate and professional, internal communication and customer treatment do not reflect those standards. Clients should be aware that concerns regarding safety and timely communication may be met with dismissal rather than support.
