Unfortunately he cannot remember the name of the stylist, but going in for a haircut to boost your confidence and leaving feeling worse about yourself is so unacceptable for this. He could have received the most phenomenal haircut (which let's be clear, he did not) and I would still not recommend a salon that feels the need to make unnecessary comments about an individual.

I usually go in not knowing what I want but their patience and great judgement helped me with my hair! My wonderful hairdresser was Halle! She is the best. The inside of the salon is very clean and bright from natural light.

I recently had my hair cut by Allie. Let me tell you...I showed her a picture of the style I wanted…read morethat was saved in my phone. She said, got it! She washed my hair, (and gave me the best scalp massage ever), got me combed out, and got started. When she asked me before she started cutting if "this" was a good length, I told her I wanted it shorter. She reminded me that with curly hair, it would draw up some once dried. The length she put her hand to show me as exactly where I wanted it to fall. My cut came out amazing!! I love when my stylists LISTENS to what I want, and knows what to do to achieve that look. While she may be young in the experience, she gave me exactly what I wanted! I 10/10 recommend her! You won't regret it. She has also colored my hair and I LOVE it! She always listens to my wants!

Jasmine gave me THE BEST haircut I have ever had. I'm 59. And for my entire adult life, every time I've told a hairdresser that I was trying to let my hair grow long, they cut it WAY too short. Not Jasmine. I swear. Best haircut EVER. She really listened and spent a lot of time with me. She trimmed the ends and layered my hair all over---but not too much, just right. I will recommend Kalon Salon to all my family and friends.

I hate to leave negative reviews, but if I drive almost 30 minutes to get there, where walk-ins are welcome and no appointment needed, then I should be able to trust that I can have a service done (a 5 minute eyebrow wax) during their hours of operation. I can understand if it was right before closing time but this was not the case. I think it's fair to expect that if I show up during their posted hours that I can get service. I am not one to complain about the waiting, as that is expected in a place where walk-ins are welcome; however if you say you are open then there is no reason I should be turned away. I refuse to go to a place where I can't trust that I can even be seen until I get there. I can just as easily go to my nail salon to get what I needed, and from now on that is exactly what I will do. At least then I know I won't be going somewhere for nothing.

I went against my better judgement and now today I'm getting a crash course in using box dye and trying to fix stuff because oh my gosh! I had virgin hair, I don't do that kind of stuff, so a warning of like hey your hair is going to be fried would have been great. And the highlights don't even go to my roots so I have very distinct light and dark all over my head, looking like it's been a while since my last dye job cause she didn't get the stuff close to my roots.
