Back in the day when Jessie was still in SoCal, I was looking for someone who could do my hair AND do my makeup for some family photos. I also needed them to come to my house. The same person decided I needed an "edgier" look and proceeded to cut my bangs into what I would describe as a premature ventricular contraction tracing on an EKG). I didn't know what to expect from Jessie but I figured a couple hundred moms can't be all wrong. And they were right. Jessie immediately put me at ease and took such great care of my hair. She explained what she was doing and gave me great tips on how I could make my style last even when I didn't have time to dry my hair. She showed me various ways to wear my cut and basically gave me a crash course on what Olaplex is, why it's an important step in coloring hair and how it works.
