With the lack of imagination some staff might benefit by engaging in ongoing education to expand their repertoire beyond basic cuts and colors. Otherwise you're not worth what you charge. Please stop the embarrassing trick you do to clients by announcing out loud (so everyone can hear) whether the client wants to include a tip instead of having the client privately enter the amount into the card reader. I made an appointment here to get my hair cut after having a bad experience with another stylist…read more I was hoping to get all my hair evened out to the shortest layer. On the day of my appointment I got a call saying they wanted to move my appointment from 4 to 5 because my stylist was running behind. I couldn't do that so they kept my appointment at 4. I was actually expecting that they would try to reschedule but I guess there was no need. From the moment I got in I could tell the stylist was in a hurry. She sat me down and looked at my hair then told me it could just be blended to fix the bad layers and that she could dry cut it. The whole time, she and another stylist were talking about how my stylist needed to leave to go on a trip. She cut my hair then said "It looks great! Do you think we need to wash and dry it?" Mind you, this had been less than 10 minutes for an hour-long appointment. She hurried to wash and dry my hair, she put conditioner in my hair then immediately washed it out. She didn't even dry my hair all way then realized she had to fix the layers more. Meanwhile she is rushing and talking to the other stylist about her trip she's about to leave for. When she was done she said it looked good and asked me about it while taking off the robe. She didn't even offer to have me look at the back of my hair, the part I wanted fixed, before she started packing up her things. I felt so rushed I didn't even ask to see it because they made me feel like such an inconvenience. All and all, it felt very unprofessional from both stylists and I still need my hair fixed because she finished in 35 minutes.

We talked about my color and cut and Lauren was right on par with exactly what I wanted. She was very nice, welcoming and open to what I wanted. I started with unevenly colored hair, long root growth and old faded dye on the other bottom half. I was looking to be rid of the faded reddish color and start going lighter so that eventually I can have a much lighter brown. The color came out nice! It's a nice lighter brown and looks a lot more even. The haircut was just what I wanted, shorter and a little layering with texture. She gave me options of styling it and parting it differently.
