He demonstrated great patience and went above and beyond...truly a kind human! I will bring all my cellphone issues here in the future.

I purchased two C to C phone cables from this business four days ago. I ended up not needing them…read moreand came back two days later with my receipt to return them. The packaging (such that it was) had not been disturbed and they were in the exact selling condition they had been when sold to me. The clerk (I believe he is the owner), told me he "never accepts returns," but grudgingly eventually said he would refund me 75% of the charge, keeping 25% for a restocking fee. I asked where that information would have been given upon purchase. My paper receipt had nothing about it and there was no sign on the wall. He produced a separate paper listing the restocking fee, which had not been shared with me when I purchased the items. He explained tersely that he is a small business and reiterated that he never accepts returns and I should be grateful he was making an exception. So -- be warned -- if you purchase supplies from this business, be aware that he "never accepts returns" and that if he decides to make an exception, he'll retain 25% of the payment. I don't fault his policy, but his failure to be up front about it at time of purchase is poor business practice. https://quickbooks.intuit.com/ca/resources/running-a-business/writing-store-return-policy/

Fix & Sell - My phone weeks later after being fixed

I hate to give a scathing review in such a way, but this needs to be a warning to everyone…read moreconsidering allowing Fix & Sell to handle their electronics. My Iphone 13 Pro Max was cracked from April 2024- October 2024. It was not cracked NEARLY as much as it is in the picture I provided. I got my phone fixed at Fix & Sell around early October, when I called for a estimate they told me it was going to cost about 180 dollars, when I brought it the following day they charged me 240 dollars to fix my cell phone. The woman insisted that she would not fix my phone unless she replaced my cameras and that is where the supposed extra expense came from. In this moment I did not mind because when I was calling for estimates it was about the same price. They told me it would take about 3 hours, later that day I came and got it. The woman made me sign a strange waiver saying that this was final, she was very illusive as to why and also extremely rude. She also would not answer my concerns as to why my phone smelled like it was burning, telling me thats a dumb question. The following day I was on my way out of the house when I dropped my phone in my room on carpet... later that day I realize the phone is beginning to crack. I found this extremely strange because prior to my phone cracking in April I dropped my phone all types of ways and it took a lot for the back to crack. I was so upset, and I immediately returned to Fix and Sell because it had not been 24 hours and now my phone is cracked?!! They told me there was absolutely no compensation, and that they would not fix my phone again. The picture below is my phone deteriorating after 3 months. I would also like to add that I did drop my phone, so that is why the piece is missing. BUT the phone was was cracking and glitching up until when I dropped it late Nov. I also found out Fix & Sell orders fake Apple parts which are made of plastic, and that is why my phone cracked so easily. Oh! And that metal/burning smell took weeks to go away. Please do not trust them with electronics, the service was awful and I'll never go again.

My grandma's key fob randomly broke. I found online that it could be replaced. I almost went to…read moreToyota and got a new key for expensive but batteries plus came up as an option for a replacement key. I went online and saw two different potentials parts. The one I thought I needed wasn't at that the location closest to me so I would need to go to this one which was about 35 mins away. I called the store first to verify that they had the product that I was looking for, he said yes, and was very helpful with helping me identify which part I actually need. I said I would head over that way to get it replaced. By the time I got there, a different guy was there. He found the part, and started replacing the key before realizing that I would need to get a new key cut but he didn't know how to cut keys so I would have to come back the next day when the guy who knew how to cut keys would be able to help me. I was confused and a little irritated. I reluctantly agreed. I go outside to leave and the car won't start so it's becoming more frustrating. There's people all around so he can't really help not communicating that he's willing to help so I called my family to help. Eventually he came out and tried the battery, that wasn't the problem. We tried jumping it a few times, not that. He gave up and went back in to close the store. By then my mom arrived and said, why don't you put the old key back together? We put it back together and apparently whatever part he had moved from the old key to the new key left the key only half working but he had now idea. Had she not suggested that, I would have had to leave my grandma's car. I don't fault him for not knowing but it would be useful for those types of situations to be mentioned in training since replacement keys appears to be a portion of their service offerings. The next day, the batteries plus near my house agreed to get everything switched over for me, even though I had purchased the key at the first individually owned and operated store. Shaunte had me in and out and double checked every step of the way to assure that the key would in fact work.

My visit to Batteries Plus was a pleasant one. I needed batteries for my husband's mobility…read morescooters. I am elderly, yet shown respect by the employees there. They answered all my questions and sincerely wanted to help me. They also sell refurbised golf carts with new audio systems and beautiful paint jobs on them. Hard to tell the difference between the new carts and the used ones. Professionalism at it's peak.
